Amazing location, beautiful!!!
Tranquil place
Lovely manor place and gardens, great view, sundowner and hike is highly recommended
The manager and chef were highly accomidating
Breakfast was overpriced
Dinner of chicken and steak wasn't good (dry)
Unfriendly receptionist on arrival (Saturday at sunset)
Communication of booking food 48 hours ahead of time should be more bold
1 wood included would be more convenient at self catering cottage

Mid winter, no hot water or electric blankets as advertised

Amazing location; lovely helpful staff; very good food; beautiful area; characterful rooms.
Unfortunately our stay coincided with some of the rainiest and coldest weather in living memory! So we were unable to fully utilize the amazing area. Also, this exposed a few leaks in our hut - and the insufficient heating. I feel this is a fair weather place.

The setting was incredible, and Julene was so helpful with communicating about the road conditions and which walks to go on given our limited time and the recent rains. The cottages were private and well equipped.
It was freezing cold and the heater in our room didn't work, and the brochure referred to electric blankets which we didn't find.

We enjoyed the binne braai as it was a cold evening. It was a very comfortable stay

Just beautiful setting, in nice old building, with a lovely big garden. Lovely restaurant, which offers a good 3 course meal.

Outstanding architecture, extremely well build, the suites are an unbelievable wonderful experience, the night sky is fantastic, the view from the porch magic.
Dinner at 19h00, when the beautiful sunset is exactly at that time. 19h15 would help. :-)

The accommodation is so quirky yet comfortable and spacious. The food was excellent with some good local wines on offer.
The staff were lovely..welcoming and obliging. Our packed breakfast for an early start was scrumptious.
Just a minor suggestion to supply some battery powered inverters to the lodges to help in loadshedding. It would also be helpful to have the WiFi router on a battery...either solar or powered by the circuit.
Maybe a No Phone Zone for dining times. As this is the only space offering connectivity of WiFi and phones I think some guests found others' conversations a nuisance at times.

Great Location, beautiful and unique Room, outstanding view!
The Restaurant had no charm, did not match the rest of the property. Food ok, but not outstanding!
Staff at arrival friendly, then change of staff and the new Lady could hardly speak English or was extremely shy!

Naries is in a breathtaking location and the unique thatched rooms were unlike anything I've ever stayed in. Inside was luxurious and just amazing really
Nothing, it was perfect

It’s quaintness, the wonderful bathroom - with great hot water. The staff, particularly Shannon were extremely good. The
Dinner was also good.
We asked for a takeaway breakfast as we needed an early start, it was astounding and allowed us to have lunch from it too!
The fact that when we had a blow out puncture 100km from the property we were unable to make contact with them.
We understand the owner has a guesthouse in the Western Cape and the booking office, which closes at 1pm, is run from there
Both that number and the hotel numbers were “not available” When we finally arrived, we ascertained that our call had appeared on their cellphone
no one made any effort to call us back
