The whole experience was great.at the check in when i had a casual chat with the receptionist, i mentioned its my mother in law's birthday and the stay in the hotel is my gift for her.when i checked in to the room to my surprise, i found a cake and written happy birthday.that was a great stuff. Then when we went down for coffee at the hotel cafe, the staff brought another cake while singing happy birthday.my mum in law was so thrilled.overall, mandarin oriental gave us a wonderful experience throughout our stay!!good food, clean room and pleasant staffs and overall a great and wonderful experience!!

The Mandarin Oriental remains a prestige property and experience. The staff were courteous, attentive, and assured my partner and I had a most excellent stay. I would strongly recommend to anyone visiting KL and wanting a five star experience in a great location.

The hotel is located next to KLCC and very short walking distant to shop and have your mealsThe staff are very friendly and proffessional, they make you feel welcome and they are always smiling. The room is clean and the beds are very comfy. Their special bottled water taste sweet too

Stayed for 2 nights. Location superb, with klcc just next door. Cleanliness was good. there was a problem with the bathtub that I requested with reception fixed it when we left for the day, but when we returned it was still the same. It was eventually fixed after calling them again. Pillows were too soft for my liking. Breakfast was very limited in choice. 2nd day breakfast the noodles tasted like they were reheated from the day before and the fruits had gone bad. Overall a dissapointing trip. Will stay elsewhere next time.

Service was excellent. Staff were very attentive to my needs and service always came with a smile. I would like to mention in particular Mr Firdaus who constantly check in with me during breakfast to see that I had what I needed. Staff would greet me whenever they saw me, so very pleasant.

Overall experience at the hotel was great except for the long waiting time required at the front desk for all services. When we arrived at the hotel, we were greeted by friendly bell services but had to queue for approximately 10-15 mins to check in despite that it was already at 6pm. The room was fantastic, very clean & spacious and the housekeeping services throughout our stay was excellent!!! We had also dined at their Chinese restaurant and the food and staff service were exceptional!Lastly, the only and biggest disappointment was during our check-out process. Despite knowing it would be a peak period in the noon for both guests checking in and out, the front desk service was very slow. There was a long queue and we had to wait for 20 mins before we get to a counter, hoping to be served promptly thereafter. Unfortunately, the front desk staff knew nothing abt her job and had gone off twice without explaining the reason and left us waiting aimlessly for another 10-15 minutes! Eventually, we had rather pay for a bill with errors to quicken the check-out process. The front desk service really has to buck up to keep up to the hotel's high service standards that is very well maintained by all the other departments.

Mandarin Oriental KL is as you would expect - luxurious. The room was great - big, comfortable and with full amenities. The leisiure facilities were great - tennis, swimming, gym - all excellent. The staff were greatHighly recommended

I really enjoyed my stay at this hotel. The room was comfortable, perfect location and the staff amazing, helpful and friendly.

Impeccably clean, very comfortable, with top notch customer service.

I love the hospitality and friendliness of the staff who have made my stay enjoyable. The only feedback is the missing drinking glasses in the room which I had to request from room service. Overall, it was a great stay and I would definitely come back again.

I love how close it is to KLCC. That was the key factor why I chose Mandarin Oriental. Delightful staff from the moment I reached the hotel to the end of my stay. Clean and spacious rooms. My first stay, definitely not be my last.

I like MO, especially the pool and surrounding facilitues, but as ‘premium’ hotels in KL go, you are spoilt for choice and MO is now sadly on the dated side. Beds are small by comparison to Grand Hyatt etc and room decor a little old fashioned. That said, their buffet breakfast is among the best in town.
