Nestled in Pigeon Forge, this lovely cabin for $579 per night is a fantastic choice for your next trip. Big Bear & Apples Lodge is a spacious log cabin with 4 en-suite bedrooms/ 4.5 bathrooms. The cabin is situated in a beautiful gated community called Bear Creek Crossing resort. It has wonderful amenities with an indoor/outdoor pool and miniature golf course located with in the resort. The cabin has a mountain view, vaulted ceiling, 2 fireplaces, hot tub and each bedroom has its own bathroom. The Indoor swimming pool is open all year round! Play the Mini golf for free. We have a pool table, air hockey in the cabin. Walking distance to the resort pools and mini golf course. Close to all attractions , Pigeon Forge , Gatlinburg and the Great Smoky Mountain Park . Enjoy the mountain view and all amenities! Each bedroom has a TV, and ceiling fan. This property needs an update. We paid over big $$$ per night for this cabin. The bedroom/bathroom space was great for our family of 8 but that's the only great thing. The issue is that they provide only one towel and wash cloth per person. No extra anything. The description states extra towels and linens are in dresser drawers. There were none. The showers were recently done, but they left the tub faucet in and no place for soap or shampoo and the drains still had hair covering them from the previous guest. All toilets ran continuously. The mattresses are worn out. The kitchen/dining area was not good. The huge table with benches takes up the entire space. Just enough room to get to the sink. The refrigerator is old and the shelf brackets fall off every time the door is open causing all the things in the door to fall out. The range is so old that the inside can't be cleaned. The light on the microwave doesn't work so there is no light on that side of the kitchen. The Keurig coffee maker is good but the other one is a $9 Dollar General pot. The door to the bottom cabinet that the pots are in comes off when you open it. All the plates are chipped. I have visited Pigeon Forge every year for the past 20 years . This was the first time we bought the whole family. We had a great family vacation, but this cabin was a big disappointment

We rented this cabin for our annual fsmily Christmas vacatio. We had a great time. No isdued at all and everything was as described if not the back roads to get around the heavy traffic. Would definitely stay here again.better. We were able to use

Cabin was great! Very roomy to accommodate four adults and two dogs. Everyone had their own bedroom and their own bathroom which was great for privacy. Communication with the owner was very good as well. Very easy check in. I like the fact that there’s no keys just a code to the door. Only thing I didn’t like was furniture in the living room was uncomfortable. Couch didn’t recline so it was not comfortable to watch TV. Mattresses also not the best. But overall a great place to stay and we hope to come back again.

Cabin was perfect for 6 adults and 2 pups! Having our own bathroom was ideal. The game room with pool table and air hockey was the highlight on our rainy day! Sitting on deck with the view was so relaxing. Mini golf was fun! Contacted owner and received quick response. Only suggestion is deep cleaning needs done and a couple furniture items need springs replaced.

We really enjoyed our stay. The cabin had to cleaned. We went and got some cleaning supplies while we were there to freshen up the house. The checkin process was great. The location and the cabin itself was nice. There were some broken chairs and the mattresses need to be updated. We really liked the cabin but these are some of the cleaning that needs to be done. Dust all the furniture Clean all the appliances Clean the kitchen countertops Clean the windows Mop the floors thoroughly Get a new vacuum cleaner And please make sure there are more towels.

Please make sure you have a walk through with the owner before and after. And make sure the following are fixed. smoke detectors are installed. Only one in the upstairs bedroom. The outside grill bottom all rusted out could not use. Cleaning very unclean had to scrub the refrigerator before we could use it. Oven I don't think it had ever been clean. Dust would just fly off the ceiling fans. One of the couples were accused of putting a hole in the tub in their bathroom. They did not have any shampoo bottles or anything heavy that would make a hole in the picture the owner sent us. there was never a drain plug in the tub and in the picture there was a drain plug and the tub was wet and dirty, this couple were in their late 60's early 70's not destructive at all and very clean. we were all out of there by 8:30 and I received a text at 1:40pm with pictures. there is a cleaning fee you are charged so if you stay here once again make sure you have a walk through before and after that was our mistake now it will be a court battle. So unfortunate.

The neighborhood is very nice , indoor and outdoor pool and a miniature golf course. The house has every thing you will need . Very large table for meals or games. It’s nice that there separate bathrooms and rooms for everyone! Check in was easy and everything went very well

Nice location. Needs some updating and definitely needs new mattresses. Owner was easily accessible and very responsive. Nice gated community. All in all a great place for a family getaway.

It was a very nice cabin. Accomadated all of our family needs. The bedrooms were spacious and the views were fantastic. The hostess was extremely flexible and made the check in/out experience easy. Close to major business's but yet felt like you were in the country. Rate it 10/10

My family and I stay 5 nights here. It's off the main parkway , driving just a short while will bring to it. The cabin was clean with a fully stocked kitchen. Would definitely stay here again!!

We booked this cabin for my son’s 1st bday and we brought both sets of grandparents! It was the perfect size- every family had their own level. It was close to everywhere that we wanted to go. (Only complaint was from my teenage brother about the pool table- it leans with the house so it rolls the balls. But it makes sense with the house and it wasn’t a huge issue) We loves our stay!

This cabin is beautiful, and the kitchen is stocked with nice equipment. The only things that were a little disappointing was the pool table, and air hockey table are in sad shape.

My party of seven adults, three sisters our husband's and our Dad stayed for five nights. We found the cabin beautiful and perfect for our family with the four bedrooms with individual baths and the additional one for all of us. We cooked breakfast each morning and dinner a few nights. We had everything needed in the kitchen and that made it very convenient. We used the hot tub, so nice. A couple things that didn't detract from our stay but we noticed were the lighting over the stove for cooking, it was very dark. Another thing that would have helped our party of older adults would be non-slip treads on the stairs going downstairs. They were pretty slippery in our stocking feet. The upstairs had them and it helped considerably. All in all our cabin was amazing, felt like home and we would definitely stay again. We loved our stay!!

This is an amazing cabin for a quick weekend getaway, or even a week! I wish we could have stayed longer, I always have a hard time leaving this area! The cabin was clean, tons of room, and a beautiful view from the porch. Definitely recommend!!

Liked that this property was in a gated community, so we felt secure. Check in was easy. Received codes via email the day before. The property needs some maintenance done. The upstairs bedroom tub wouldn't drain. My son pulled tons of hair out of it to get it to go down. The refrigerator freezer leaked water down into refrigerator. The seal on the kitchen faucet needs replaced. The mattress in the living room sofa pullout had 2 huge pee stains on it. We didnt use it after we saw that. The ground level bed mattress was awful. The putt putt course was nice to have but too many leaves, etc on it that interfered. We could've used a leaf blower to make it playable. **Our biggest complaint is the indoor pool was closed for maintenance. This is why we booked this property! I feel like we should've been notified.

Our family, 7 adults and one child (6), had a great stay. Bedrooms and social areas are large. Multiple deck areas. Lots of amenities. Indoor pool and hot tub were a big plus. Owner was super at ensuring a couple of small things were fixed within hours. We will be back. Best VRBO stay we have had in 6 years.

The cabin was great for our family. We had multiple families with kids and adults. The cabin was as described. We were able to contact the cleaners and actually access the cabin early. The cabin was very clean upon arrival. A few items that could use attention would be the grill would not stay lit and we were worried if it did stay lit that there would be a fire. The kitchen sink was very loose and wobbly. Some of the dishes were put away kinda crusty so we did end up washing all the dishes before we used them. The powder room off the kitchen had a very slow flush (probably why there is a plunger in that bathroom). The upstairs bedroom mattress was very squishy but the suite upstairs was amazing! The kids loved the games in the basement and loved the pool area. It was not the location I originally planned to book in but it was definitely a great value and we didn’t mind the drive to our activities! The kids definitely want to come back to the cabin again and hopefully stay longer! Thanks for sharing your cabin with us!

Our first time to Dollywood with family and the home provided ample room for everyone. Enjoyed the quietness. We spent many nights on the balcony watching fireflies to the delight of my three year old grandchild. Just under a 20 minute drive to resturants and Dollywood.

Loved our cabin! Close to pools and putt putt. The waterfall was beautiful and sounded so peaceful from our decks. We had everything we needed. Restaurants and attractions were minutes away. Our zip line experience was a first for all of us - from 75 to 7 yrs old. We loved it!!

The cabin and resort are in a beautiful setting. The check in was easy as the gate, cabin, and pool codes are sent ahead of time. The cabin had a nice layout. The cleanliness of the cabin needed some attention and the furniture was very warn. The beds are not very comfy but the rooms are spacious. Plenty of cooking utensils, pots and pans. Overall not bad, but needs a good deep cleaning and some furniture replaced.
