Things to know: Dog-friendly Free WiFi Two full kitchens (the upstairs unit has a dishwasher) *Please note the wood stove is the only heating option for the home. The Creekside Cabin was perfect for a large family vacation. There was plenty of room for adults and children. The outside deck was a nice place to relax at the end of the day to enjoy a glass of wine and watch the moon come up. The house was in a great location because it was an easy walk to town, the spring area, shops, and restaurants. I hope we are able to come to Pagosa Springs again and if we do we will be back in Creekside Cabin.

The house is right in town, walking distance from some great places to eat and also and easy drive to Wolf Creek ski area. The accommodations are not fancy but the house has everything you need.

We had multiple families and multiple friends drop in and out over a 3 week period. The beds are comfortable, the kitchen and restrooms were stocked and we kept up with laundry with two laundry facilities. We had no problems cooking most nights for multiple families. The Garage was great for storing our skis and leaving our shoes (as it got muddy throughout Pagosa). The fireplace was great with plenty of firewood and we had many cozy nights around the fire. Big plus was that the floors seemed to be heated between the master Bed and the bathroom. Great location where we could walk to restaurants and close to the Hot springs where we could soak after a long day of skiing. We already booked our next stay.

We had the entire home rented and it was plenty spacious! We loved the location, the comfort and everything was great. If we had any complaint it would be that the water heater was maybe to small for so many bathrooms and such. We ran out of hot water quite regularly, but then again there was 9 guys… would definitely stay here again.

Our annual Christmas trip to Pagosa Springs was wonderful. A little too much snow for skiing , yet we skied anyway, but the hills by the house provided hours of fun for young and old alike for great sledding.

Awesomeness house

Everything you need with the best location. I enjoyed hiking up the hill in the backyard yard with my dog in mornings. I could’ve see the whole town, the river, and lots of deer walking around. We walked to restaurants and bars at night. Huge yard for me to throw the Frisbie for my dog

The house was clean, spacious, and in a perfect location. It was close enough to the main strip of the town to walk everywhere but on a very quiet road. The house got a bit warm, but we opened the upper-level windows to get a lovely breeze through. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone visiting Pagosa Springs!

This home was large enough for our two family group. We all had our own space and bathrooms. Two kitchens made is easy to prepare food. This home in a minute walk to downtown, the river, restaurants and even ice cream. We saw lots of wildlife while we stayed at the home. The only that could have made this home better would have been air conditioning.

The home is a great size for a large family or multiple families vacationing. Also great for people with children. Although we weren’t happy about the home being right off the Main Street , it turned out ok because we were able to walk down to the beautiful San Juan river within minutes. Both evenings we had tons of deer come through the yard which was great to watch. Cons of the property, we were given the wrong lockbox codes 4 times! We were on hold with Vacasa for a half an hour and could not get the issue resolved until another Vacasa employee called me and reset it (for the 5th time) this was an hour after our original check in time and we were not given any extra time at checkout to compensate for this issue. Also the home could have been cleaned a little better upon our arrival.

We come to Pagosa at least 10 times a year so I try to spread the love in the way of rentals in the area. This time we had some family tag along so I needed a bigger house. Pro is that there were 11 of us and everyone had their own bed. Other good thing was the location of the house. If it was summer we could have easily walked to a lot of shops and restaurants. Now, would I rent this house again? No. The bottom floor is VERY noisy. It was/is poorly built and you can hear everything from footsteps to water running. The shower is tiny and the water never really gets hot just warm is about the highest temperature. With a house full of people it was not ideal to have to wait so long between showers for water to warm up. Biggest con are the fees for this house. Almost 1/3 of your cost will be for cleaning and service fees and yet all throughout the house are signs asking you to help the cleaning people clean by doing the laundry for them and washing dishes. Nice to help out but then why all the cleaning fees? In my opinion the house was just ok but for what we paid we could have gotten more bang for our buck.

House was awesome, great for a weekend escape. Walking distance around town. Clean, bright, plenty of blankets, towels, & supplies. Table/couch living room set up was great for hanging out and playing card games or a long morning with brunch.
