Comfortable and quiet

Size and location

I would have given 10 out of 10 for this stay if the balcony and the front porch were not so covered with spider webs Also good to give coffee fixings at the least. There was no coffee nor condiments in the house

We'll stay here again next time we're in Pagosa Springs. Was a great spot to take a break.

Quiet spot, close to grocery store & other shopping. Easy to get out to mountains. Nice deck to sit on.

Oven door doesn't shut tight. Had to hold it closed to bake food.

We enjoyed this location. It was clean and comfortable and so close to all the things we wanted to

This was a very smooth check in/check out. It was very clean and had everything we needed to be comfortable. We would definitely stay again.

The mattress could be a little more comfortable but it was OK. The Wi-Fi was a little slow. But over all I give this a 9 out of 10.

great comfortable room.

The shower did not drain and the hot water didn’t last very long. The unit is not clearly labeled and google maps takes you to the wrong location. Staff told us we needed to enter the property through a yard which was incorrect.

it was a great stay and thinking about doing it again.

there was a beautiful view of the mountains, Walmart right around the corner, nice food areas, and tons of trails around.

Cozy and cute

Location is perfect. Walkable to coffee shops, Lake Pagosa, and decently close to town. Patio is spacious - though there were only two very old dusty chairs out on it. Bathroom amenities are old and very “hotel like” where the whole text of the suite felt super “homey”. Door is broken and there is a spot on the wall however it is not dog pee- so the over exaggerators in the review below us can calm down :) there was no mold, or dirty dishes, or filth (that doesn’t come by staying in Pagosa) that you should fear. My friend and I had a very nice stay.

The bed needs to be replaced, it sinks in at the bottom. Patio furniture revamped/added. You do pay a pretty hefty cleaning fee, and are still required to take out all of the garbage, and start the dishwasher and a load of laundry before you depart. Clean up the cobwebs on the patio, too!

Filthy dirty absolutely disgusting

Dig pee on the walls. Absolutely filthy dirty. Dirty dishes in the cabinet. Broken bathroom door. Mold and bugs in the bathroom. Disgusting place!

Absolutely filthy dirty. Dog hair. Dog poop pieces. Snacks from someone else on the floor. Bugs and mold in the bathroom. Everything is worn out and or broken. Absolutely disgusting place. Curtains are janky and difficult to open close. Sofa stained and stinking like dog. The most disgusting experience ever!

Missing ammenity

I did like the room with the exception that I did not get what I paid for. The room was clean and the staff at Aspen wood itself were very nice and courteous. I liked the well maintained lawns as well and the scenery. But since I booked the room for one main amenity that was advertised and did not get it, I was disappointed with my whole stay there. I could have saved my money and used it to buy my own spa tub for my own home and would have been happier.

When I booked that room, I booked it for the sole reason that it advertised a spa tub was included in that room. The advertisement even had pictures of the spa tub. When we checked in, the first thing I noticed was there was no spa tub just a plain every day motel type tub. It was extremely disappointing. I talked to management right away. They informed me that they had no other rooms with a spa tub available. They told me I would be reimbursed with a refund because of the false advertising. I have yet to see a refund of any kind. I emailed Vacasa directly about this on May 11th. The response on May 12th from a woman named Michelle P. asked me to send my confirmation number. Which I immediately did. Five days ago I sent an email to touch base about my refund. I have heard nothing back from anyone. I had even sent pictures of the advertisement and pictures of the tub in the advertisement and pictures of the tub in my room. I feel that they are blowing me off and I am unhappy about that sort of politics. I will not be booking any further stays with that company and will write a review on Facebook about my experience if I don't get compensated.
