The property has a beautiful view and is in a very picturesque setting. The house had everything we needed and was able to accomodate a much bigger group than the six of us. We would recommend it to anyone for any occaision.

We were in town for a funeral so chose this home for our family to gather in. The setting was beautiful! Great bakery, market and meat market in town. We do have one recommendation. They ask you to wash towels before you leave (which is no problem at all), so throw some detergent into your luggage as there was none there.
Overall - Great Stay!

Your farmhouse was just what we needed for our group, a mix of family and friends on a mission trip. We could be together and plan and fellowship which was great for us. The atmosphere was very cozy and calming. The children and their parents loved the basement where they could play and sleep. All in all a great stay.

Loved the (relative) isolation of the country setting. Beautiful view. Close enough to Hopkinsville to get anything needed -- including an 18-hole and a 9-hole disc golf course -- but far enough out of town to enjoy time alone as an extended family. Watching and interacting with the horses was a treat for the city people. Surprised that the two favorite places of many in our group were the front and back porches. I had not expected that, but we spent a lot of our time outside just enjoying being somewhere other than home. It was a great location for our 4-generation family reunion of sorts.

Nice Secluded, Quaint, and Cozy Rental
This rental was very accommodating for my whole family of over 20 people. We all slept comfortably and had plenty of sitting room. The house had nice appliances and adequate cookware to meet all our needs without having to spend any additional money. It was on what seemed to be at least 5 acres out in the country and really gave us the feeling of solitude which was quite relaxing. It also had lots of things to do to keep us all entertained as well such as cable tv, pool table, foos ball, shuffle board, etc. In the daytime the view from the front porch with the horses in the pasture was gorgeous. The beds, couches, and recliners were all very comfortable. There was also plenty of room for parking of all the vehicles around the circle driveway. And to top it all off as we were rushing around trying to get everybody ready by check out, and worrying because we were still running short on time, the property owners/hosts showed up to feed the horses and could obviously see our stress and graciously allowed us a little more time to meet the check out requirements without penalty which was a very nice gesture that we greatly appreciated. Overall, we had a wonderful experience at this property. Having said all that, there were just a few things I want to bring to light only to give the owners/hosts some constructive feedback so they can continue to provide excellent service and accommodations. Not that any of these things were a major issue for us or anything but being that it was wet and rainy during our stay it was a little difficult, especially with the kids, to keep the floors and carpets clean even with all our shoes off considering the sand from the shuffle board in the basement was lightly spread over the floor and stairs and we couldn’t help but track it throughout somewhat. The rear basement floor was pretty saturated also due to the rain almost like there was a leak in the retainer wall or something. There was also what seemed to be a slight leak in one of the pipes in the basement bathroom. The internet signal seemed to be a little slow as well because the channels were lagging a bit and our cellular WiFi was slower than normal. And the thermostat and/or ventilation system seemed a little off too because it was warm in some rooms and cold in others. Other than these few things it was immaculate and well worth the money. All things considered I’d still give it a solid 4 out of 5 rating. Thanks for allowing us to stay we really enjoyed!

Great for a quiet getaway with lots of space to spread out in the house.

This home worked out well for our family of 11 adults and 4 children. The days we were there were very hot and humid so we were thankful that the house had good AC. The kitchen seemed well supplied as we cooked most meals at the house. Did use the charcoal grill also. Ran to the Dollar General that was nearby to get charcoal. Kids enjoyed the Christian Way Farm in Hopkinsville and the nice water park at Eddyville. The basement was great for the adults and kids with the train table, pool table and the shuffleboard table.

Thanks so much for letting us stay at your house. The older kids loved the game room in the basement and having their own space. Thank you for allowing us to have a later checkout on Sunday. It allowed the dads to golf on Father’s Day morning. We had a great time!
God Bless!

It was a good time. We had plenty of space to spread out yet not feel to distanced from everyone else. The pool table was highly used along with most of the downstairs. We ate until our hearts content. The function of everything was there. Each person had their own bed...no sharing needed. The scenery was great and all the neighbors were really spaced out so no one was disruptive to each other. Over all it was a good experience and I would suggest this property to potential renters.
