About this house rental
Situated in South Padre Island, this charming house for $708 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. FireHenrys 111 is a newly remodeled beach house with a private heated pool and a new hot tub with a cascading water deck. The house is a quick walk to the best stretch of beach on South Padre Island, with a wide section of beach near Wanna Wanna and Claytons. You'll find the backyard perfectly secluded yet spacious- a true paradise. Our custom-designed, two-story home has four bedrooms, three baths, two kitchens and can accommodate up to 12 guests. The primary suite upstairs has a king-size bed, a daybed and a private bath. The second upstairs bedroom has a queen-sized bed and a full-size bed. The fully-equipped poolside apartment suite downstairs has a queen-sized bed, a built-in daybed, and a kitchen perfect for preparing snacks and meals as the family gathers around the pool and has direct access to the backyard. The new, custom-designed bunk bed room is also on the lower level, connected by a hallway and sleeps four guests. The home has quality furnishings and amenities. The upstairs kitchen is spacious and complete with state-of-the-art stainless steel appliances, equipment, and cooking amenities/utensils needed to prepare that special island meal. A well-appointed family room provides a relaxing and open environment easily accessible from the second-floor bedrooms. We provide quality bed linens, comforters, quilts, and blankets for all beds. The washer and dryer units are available in the upstairs hallway. Bath and beach towels are provided. The driveways can accommodate four vehicles.

This house/location worked out well for our group of 7 adults. We all had room to spread out and the house was nicely equipped for cooking large meals. Would definitely recommend this spot to potential beach seekers!

Took a weeks vacation down at Padre with our adult kids and their spouses. Very comfortable
House for 3 couples. Enjoyed the heated pool, although it is much smaller than it looks in the picture. Easy 5 minute walk to beach. There was construction in the neighborhood so walk was muddy; not a problem for us but had our dog with us so that was messy. Kitchen was great, very well outfitted. My only complaint was that the beds weren’t that comfortable. Some kind of comfy mattress pads would be a big improvement.

Property was lush and green. Backyard is beautiful. Enough sitting room for 5 adults and 3 kids to all hang out together in the living room and enjoy meals at the table together. Very comfy family home. Less than 5 minute walk to the beach.

5 days was not long enough......what a beautiful little oasis....super clean, lovely fresh aroma.....and the private pool surrounded by beautiful trees was absolutely magical. Thank you for the memories.

House had lots of nice amenities, beds for up to 14, bathrooms are a little small but clean. House is well stocked with dishes, keurig coffee makers (upstairs and down) and a mini kitchen downstairs for easy access to the pool and patio. Pool area is beautiful with lots of tropical plants for privacy and enjoyment. Golf cart is convenient for trips to the store or beach.

My friends and their children and a wonderful stay at this cute beach house. It’s very clean and the decor gives off the beach vibes. The pool area was beautiful and very shaded which is perfect for keeping children out of the sun. It’s rare to find shaded pools and this was a huge selling point for us! Loved out stay!

This home had absolutely everything we could have wanted for our stay. We love to cook and there were plenty of pots, pans and dishes. The beds were all so comfortable, we slept like babies. Plenty of towels (bath and beach), beach chairs and toys, and even cribs and high chair for our little ones. The backyard is truly an island paradise. We will be back for sure!

Eight women spend 4 nights here and it was a wonderful location! Close to beach, entertainment, and food options. We spent MANY hour just chillin’ poolside and enjoying the wonderful foliage of the backyard. The beds were comfy and the house was clean.

The home was in a great, quiet neighborhood and close to beach. Beds were comfy, appliances nice and well stocked kitchen. The back patio area with heated pool was the hit for grandkids and adults. Lush flowering shrubs around pool added beauty The Best communication with property manager we have ever had. Golf cart was an added bonus.

Check in was simple. House is is good shape-some wear and tear but seemed very clean and beds were comfortable and sheets smelled great! Stairs creak a little and a few doors need to be oiled. We had a few teens (that were later sleepers) and it was hard for the littler kids to wonder around and be quiet so we had cranky teens that didn’t get enough sleep.
I think the pictures are a little mis- leading on vrbo (rooms are a touch smaller than we anticipated) and description noted pool house (I assumed it was a separate building) but it’s part of the basement/ground floor.
We had 9 in our group (two families)- I think that is about max for size of house.
The pool is the star of the property. It was heated and the setting is gorgeous!! The kids spent hours there!
A short walk to beach was nice and centrally located- we walked to most places or took free shuttle that runs on island. The garage has several beach accessories to use which was nice- the beach umbrellas that we grabbed did not work (try them before dragging all the way to the beach). A beach cart would be a great addition.
One thing to note is the wind. Apparently it is common for it to be windy on the island. We did not see/read about that when we were searching for vacations.
The property manager was very easy to communicate with and get in touch with.
Check out was also easy- not too much required. Which is great when trying to pack up and corral kids:)

It would be nice if there was towels hooks and a couple of bar stools for the outside bar. The house could use some general maintenance, loose deck spindals, stain etc.

Very nice property, the heated pool was the cherry on top. Communication was great, we had a small issue with the pool due to the weather (turned green due to massive rain), contacted Jason in the evening, first thing in the morning someone came to fix the chemical balance of the pool. Would stay again for sure!

This was perfect for our family of 6 with plenty of room to spare. The property is so close to the beach and the backyard is a personal oasis. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will return.

We were a family ranging from 1 1/2 to a 83 years of age. We all loved going to the beach in the morning, relaxing in the shaded pool during the day, and enjoying the open kitchen living space in the evenings. I will say all the stairs were a bit much for the baby and the 83 year old.

Family Trip
Our family party of 4 & our In-laws fit perfectly in the house. We were missing my order daughter and our dog on this trip, but even if they came everyone would have had their own space. My In-laws had their own kitchenette suite on the bottom level which also lead out to the pool area. The house was spacious, the main kitchen was equipped with everything needed in a kitchen (no exaggeration, truly had everything). There are stairs leading to the main floor, so I wouldn’t recommend it to people who have difficulty with stairs. However, looking at how the houses are built in South Padre it would be difficult finding a house without stairs! The backyard with the pool was amazing. We had several days of high winds, sometimes rain, so the backyard and pool saved the trip for my girls. The beach access is very close and was clean. It was very well maintained.
I am very happy we found this house. The owners are easy to communicate with and check in was super easy. We would rent this house again when we come back!

Amazing pool
The pool was a HUGE plus for our stay. There were 2 days of extreme winds and being on the beach was out of the question- so the backyard pool was PERFECT! We had a few minor issues, but the property manager was quick to respond and help out.

Fabulous Family Getaway
We stayed here following our wedding on South Padre Island with family. Perfect location close to shops and the beach within walking distance. Plenty of room for multiple people with a beautiful backyard and pool made our stay wonderful. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Great communication with property owner. Would come back again!

We had six adults that stayed at the home and it was large enough that we did not get cramped. We had two issues that were fixed immediately, property manager Mariana very responsive and pleasant to deal with. House appears as is in the pictures. Pool was smaller than pictures but did accommodate all six adults. When we were at the house we spent most of our time relaxing in the pool. A big plus was the beach was a very short walk away. We did not rent a golf cart as we brought our motorcycles with us. We were able to walk to some restaurants that were close by. We had a great time, if I ever come back to SPI I would stay at this house again.

House was great with no issues requiring a call to property manager. I gave the check in process three stars only because the was a slight miscommunication between the owners and property manager on who was supposed to contact me for the code to the locks. The pool and landscaping was really something, especially after the freeze. It has recovered well. The pool is a really nice touch, especially if you have kids that will get tired of the beach every day. They loved eating dinner in the botanical garden which is your back yard. House is really laid out well for use of space and the rooms upstairs make anyone feel comfortable. Houses surrounding you are closer than they appear in photos, but that is the way it is all over the island and the freeze didn't help the trees. So, I can't complain. My only complaint is, the house directly behind us. They have what appears to be a street lamp for their back yard attached to the middle of the house. Its really annoying and very bright when you wanna relax in the back yard at night.
Over all a great stay and would definitely stay again. Thanks for having us and hope to get down again next year.
