Situated in Big Bear, this charming cabin for $333 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Summer time & the livin' is easy at our Little Lodge. *** Our wonderful family cabin is nestled in the picturesque Boulder Bay area, just about 8-10 minutes from the Village and the ski resorts! Across the street is open land, a peek a boo view of the lake can be seen from the lower deck off the living room and upper deck off the master bedroom. The living room has a 50" flat screen TV and DVD player along w/ a large stone gas fireplace to warm your tootsies and enjoy sharing about all those great hikes, your "BIG" catch of the day, that great run you took at Bear, play some horseshoes (even in the snow!) maybe a little bumperpool, ...perhaps enjoying some family/friend time by the fire, reading, watching a great movie with some popcorn and having that hot chocolate or glass of wonderful wine! BBQ in the sunny clear mtn.air...nothing quite like it! This is the time to refresh, relax and renew, exactly what our Little Lodge offers.... A cozy cabin, games, family, friends, heart warming times full of unforgettable memories, a little BBQ, take a walk to the lake, watch some great movies on a large TV, hear the birds and feed the squirrels... your heart will smile... Our Little Lodge is ready for you to enjoy the peacefulness of quite Boulder Bay, cool sunny days, chilly star filled nights, 'family fun;) We invite you to stay with us for the most memoriable time in Big Bear! We hope to be able to share all our 'Little Lodge' has to offer with you, family & friends! The garage has been converted into a playroom with carpet, TV/DVD, comfy chairs, bumperpool table and darts. Fun for the kids or a 'man cave!' All 3 bedrooms have TV's and DVD players; the bunk room has some children's toys and books. We are kid friendly , everyone is welcome. The living room and upstairs master both have large sliding glass doors and many windows to enjoy the views! There is also a full size bed in the window seat (den next to the living room) complete w/ linens, pillows and blankets. Each room is decorated in a cabin/mountain theme w/ a splash of Bear fun thrown in :) One room even has that romantic touch! This cabin has been in our family since 1963 when my parents built the first 700 sq. ft. In 2009 we completed a total remodel and additions to bring it up to 1800 sq. ft. We now have 3 generations of family memories, working on the 4th, and would love for you to share those w/ us and create your own! Since the entire cabin is fairly new, all the linens, bedding, and towels are newly purchased in 2018, and updated again in 2022, we are constantly "renewing.".. Kitchen is completely stocked with most everything you would need. We provide guest soaps and lotions also! The appliances are fairly new, the washer and dryer also. For those of you who enjoy the old, we have saved a few relics. The brick fireplace in the dinning area is the original; we put a wood stove in and large comfy chair to sit 'by the fire!' Dining table seats 7 and there are 5 bar stools....... So please take a real look at our ad. As mentioned earlier would love to share w/ you! Fun in the sun, snow; whatever you enjoy...BBQ on the covered deck while watching the kids play and hearing the sounds of laughter! New to 2020 is an outdoor ping pong table. Memories :) Maybe a little horseshoes in the snow, it's been done!!!??? ***Note... Fall 2014 we added an additional 1/2 bath and additional 100+ sq. ft. that will replace the twin size bed in the window seat to a full size. This property was wonderful! Such a beautiful house. It had enough room for all of us and it was in a quiet neighborhood. I liked that it was modern as well. Some places have really old appliances and window but this place was awesome

Eight of us (four adults and four kids) had a stellar time here the week before Christmas 2023.
The cabin was very welcoming - extremely clean, homey and well stocked. You can tell the owners genuinely care and don't just treat the place as a cash cow. Lots of modern updates including a tankless water heater meant that no one had to take a cold shower or skip one all together (an experience we had at a previous rental) and the well-stocked kitchen made cooking a breeze. We thoroughly enjoyed the game room and DVD collection too!
The neighborhood is remote enough that it's perfectly quiet and relaxing, but it's still close enough to town that grocery shopping or hitting a local restaurant didn't feel like a trek at all.
We got some light rain during our stay but road conditions were pretty much optimal. I noted that there were no steep inclines that might have been challenging in snowy or icy conditions and having had some bad experiences with things like that in the past, it's definitely something I think about.
This place is great and we fully expect to be back, hopefully soon!

We loved staying at this cabin! We visit big bear once a year, for the last ten years, and this was our favorite rental thus far. The cabin was cozy and comfortable. The host provided all āhotel-likeā goodies such as welcome basket, tooth brush, make up remover pads etc. The cabin was meticulously labeled so it was very easy to figure out where things were in the kitchen, where to turn on lights etc. This rental came with plenty of linens, pillows, blankets and towels, which can sometimes be lacking in a VRBO rental. Our host was easy to work with and very communicative. We hope to stay at this cabin again.

The cabin felt like a home with all the amenities and more. We were made to feel so welcome. The house was so clean, spacious and everything has a warm feeling. The neighborhood is very quiet, and the neighbors were spaced out.
The game room really brought us all together and there were lots of fun things to do. We have stayed in Big Bear every summer for the past 20+ years, and this is by far my favorite cabin. The owner was so kind and made us feel like family. The communication was amazing and everything exceeded our expectations.
The pictures do not do the home justice, since there was more room than it appeared. We signed the guest book and can't wait to return!

This spacious cabin can fit up to 9 people, and is incredibly comfortable cozy, and is located in a prime neighborhood- just minutes away from Boulder Bay Park.
I can't say enough about the host, Linda, who makes you feel welcome and excited from the minute you book the cabin. My family came to Big Bear to celebrate my dad's birthday, and Linda went above and beyond to make the place feel celebratory and special. She put up a HBD banner, left us a gift basket, and a little bday cake! Linda is incredibly responsive and will do her best to accommodate you to ensure you have the best stay.
This cabin has everything you need: board games, complete kitchenware, Netflix, essential toiletries, and bbq grills. Just bring yourselves and get ready for a home away from home coziness!

This cabin feels like you're staying in a home. š I can tell that a lot of good memories have been made here and I'm so glad my family was able to make some of our own while on our trip to beautiful Big Bear.
Linda went above and beyond as a host, my daughter left her lanyard with keys and debit cards behind, Linda mailed it to us at no cost.
If you want a clean, well cared for place to stay, look no further! Bikes, board games, game room, DVDs, books, everything you need!

I honestly can't say enough wonderful things about this cabin or Linda! From the moment I booked, Linda was kind, responsive, and generous. The cabin is gorgeous and the neighborhood was quiet and absolutely lovely! There was a thoughtful gift basket, tailored specifically for us! Linda is THE BEST and went out of her way to make our stay amazing, including communicating with all of the neighbors to see who had the best sledding hill. We would be thrilled to stay again!

Adorable cabin on the outside. Incredibly charming and cozy on the inside. The photos do not do it justice. It is much more updated than shown on the website, and cozy in a contemporary way - with pillows and blankets galore - to allow you to settle in.
The kitchen was stocked with EVERYTHING you could imagine. The game room in the garage was a blast for my 10 yr old, as well as the teenage girls celebrating a big birthday. It even allowed my husband somewhere to escape. The shed stocked with sleds, a snowball maker, etc was also a hit with the family.
Linda and the Hensley family were amazing hosts. The thoughtful little treats for guests and enthusiasm for our arrival made this trip feel even more "homey." We can't wait to return - maybe we will give the summer a try next time.

The pictures don't do this cabin justice! The cabin was spacious, clean and nicely decorated. It had everything we needed and it was so organized! My family and I had an amazing time and this cabin made our weekend getaway so much more special. Linda is so easy to communite with, so responsive and she even left us some yummy treats! The home was beautiful - the online photos really don't do it justice - it was MUCH better than we expected. So many different things to do at the home too - from TV & DVDs, to bikes, horseshoes, foosball, billiards, board games, darts, etc. And the kitchen is extremely well stocked - everything and more that you would ever need! Owner was very good at communicating and answering questions quickly! Will definitely recommend this place to friends and family!

We had such a great time at this cabin!!! It was so cozy comfortable clean all the things you could hope for in a home away from home. This is the first experience we have ever had where we felt the owners cared that we were staying at their vacation home & wanted to make us feel welcome & make great memories. The owners went above & beyond & we definitely hope to come back! We stayed a few days with our party of 7 with the youngest being 14. It was perfect for us. Great cabin, book it you wonāt regret it!

From the pictures the cabin looked nice. But in person it was even better than we expected! There were a lot of nice touches that made you feel comfortable and not want to leave. Better in person. Iāve taken the family to getaways in the past and thereās places that feel like rentals, this cabin feels like a home! Itās decorated very nicely and the upgrades are the same you would do for your own home. Very comfortable, family friendly, clean, and everyone loved it.

I can't say enough about this house. It was the best we have rented in a long time. And we rent often. I like short get a ways. Check in was easy, commucation with the owner was fast and very friendly. The house was clean, and spacious. There was a welcome basket left for my family. My family enjoyed our stay with our children in the beautiful, weāll kept home with plenty of room and rooms. Our children loved the bunk beds and toys. There is also a primary bedroom with a balcony that has a view of the lake. The garage was an awesome addition to our stay because it provided a lot of entertainment to our kids and myself. I would definitely stay here again because itās close to a lot of Big Bear attractions.

We were looking for a cabin to take our grandchildren to for a family getaway. The location was close to marina, restaurants and Boulder bay Park. The cabin was perfect and had many amenities for the grandchildren to enjoy. Bumper pool, ping pong, darts, board games, horseshoes. The host was absolutely perfect! Plenty of communication, a great welcome basket upon our arrival tailored for our particular family, and lots of information and ideas for things to do in the area were provided by check in host, Stacey! Fully stocked kitchen with appliances and kitchen essentials too. We literally just needed to buy food if we decided to cook. I would definitely recommend this cabin and host! We had a great family getaway with our grandchildren (without their parents :) ). The grandchildren ranged in ages from 20 to 4 and all loved the cabin and location!

Great property. Walkable neighborhood for exercise. Great game room inside (previously garage) and horseshoes in backyard. Beds are comfortable, kitchen well stocked. Cozy house. Marinas, restaurants and outdoor activities within a short drive. Our family has stayed at this location twice, and would definitely consider doing so again.

This house was very clean with lots of amenities. Owner was very communicative and thoughtful. Master bedroom with ensuite and balcony upstairs. 2 bedrooms downstairs, 1 with with queen the other with bunkbeds and a twin. There is an alcove off the livingroom with a full bed and just curtains for privacy with a powder room next to it. Full bath downstairs . Kitchen was fully stocked. Needs sharp knives. There are split levels and steps that proved to be a concern with our elderly mom but we managed. Overall great house!

The Sno fun @ Little Lodge was a very nice, clean and up-to-date cabin. My family and I stayed at this cabin for three nights in Feb 2021. We were very impressed with the cleanliness, location, and price of the cabin. We have been vacationing to big bear mountain for many years and have rented a couple other different cabins in the past. We were by far happier with this cabin! The owner Linda was extremely friendly, and helpful on the cabin policies, rental process, and answered the couple questions we had prior to arriving. The quiet neighborhood and easy access to the lake was nice too! We have traveled a great deal over the years, except for this year. This was the first time venturing out in over 18 months. Linda, the owner of the property, was so welcoming, friendly and helpful during our stay, exceptionally more so than at any other place we have ever stayed.. She was responsive to our texts and reached out to make sure everything was meeting our needs and expectations. Besides walking in to the kitchen to a welcome basket and a gift for out granddaughter, the cabin was clean, inviting and full of warmth. We had lots of fun playing horseshoes in the back yard, resting on the hammock (if you can call a 2 yo climbing on you resting) sitting around the outdoor fire pit and playing games at the kitchen table. There was plenty of room for our family. We look forward to staying there again.

This cabin was the perfect getaway for our family of five! Linda made it so welcoming for us! You feel taken care of throughout the beautiful and well-stocked home. The cozy blankets, warm fireplace, spacious seating areas, t.v.s, game room, reading nook, lovely decor, amenities, and private location, make you feel so at home! We had an awesome time and hope to come back one day! We read in our separate rooms, watched t.v., took a 2 hour boat ride, shopped in the Village, visited the zoo, rode the mountain coaster, played bumper pool and darts, and enjoyed lots of wonderful food. We loved coming back to the Little Lodge at the end of each day to relax and unwind. Thank you, Linda! We had an amazing time!!
