Quiet and clean apartment with modern creature comforts in a nice centrally located neighborhood.

Modern, clean, and well appointed space with little luxuries that we especially appreciated (e.g., a wash dryer, great AC in the bedroom area). The location was wonderful for us - close enough to walk to all the attractions in the city center, but free from the throng of tourists and a chance to experience more “local life”. The bakery nearby (recommended in George’s guidebook) was 10/10 and we loved the surprise of a local farmers market that took place just outside the apartment on one of the days we were there. George also went above and beyond to make sure our honeymoon stay was absolutely perfect!! Highly recommend staying here!

10/10, book this place now!

Our stay in the apartment was fantastic. It is very roomy and tastefully decorated, as well as being fully equipped for longer stays with a full kitchen, washer/dryer for laundry and large living room. Communication with the host was great, and he had a lot of recommendations for us to enjoy our stay in Athens. The neighbourhood is also great, with a lot of restaurants and bakeries right around the corner. It is just far enough from the touristy areas to feel more authentic while remaining extremely charming and welcoming. We had heard mixed reviews of Athens in general, but our stay in this apartment and neighbourhood really had us wondering what people were on about.. we loved Athens and would come back anytime!

Superb

George was a great host - easy to communicate with, left us welcome wine, snacks, water, and there were toys for our kids. Apartment was nicely decorated and appointed. Apartment not far from major historical sites but the neighbourhood itself was not touristy. Would stay here again.

Noise from the road was bit loud into the night, but not surprising given it's a busy city, and not unique to this apartment.

Great place to stay in Athens

Cozy, well-equipped and clean. 15-20 minute walk to the Monastiraki/Plaka area. The immediate area has a good number of great cafes, restaurants and access to groceries. Our host was easy to reach and very responsive.

Sofa bed in the living room was quite uncomfortable. Difficult to use the shower without getting the bathroom floor wet (host did provide enough towels to wipe the floor)

Dream stay

The flat is wonderfully comfortable and everything you could ever need was provided. The host left us snacks and the location is perfect - close to cafés, super markets and the philopappous hill which is great for walks.

I would definitely recommend this place to my friends visiting Athens

Very clean, cosy, close to many tourist attractions, very nicely decorated. The host was extremely helpful, answered all our questions immediately, gave wonderful recommendations for places to eat, night out and public transport.

The shower was too small.

Great place to put up for couples thinking of a long stay in Athens.

Location was great, its close to all the historical sites and Plaka shopping district. There are also many grocery shops, convenient stores and restaurants in the neighbourhood.

Nothing I can think of, if I had to nitpick, it'll be the dark lobby and hall area of the apartment. Other than that, overall its fine.

A flat that feels like home!

The flat is Modern and clean . It is perfect for 4 persons (2 adults/2 kids). It feels like you are in your house cause it provides everything you could need . There are plenty of parking spaces around the area. The most important is that the Communication with Mr George was excellent and he always tried to give us the best service !!!

Beautiful apartment, amazing location, wonderful host. This is one of the best I've ever stayed in!

I loved this apartment, it was beautifully decorated, spacious and very comfortable. Its very close to the Acropolis and major sites and had some wonderful additions that makes it better than most places I have stayed in. There were welcome treats for me, a small souvenir and a series of messages telling me all the places to visit and eat. The windows have lovely shutters to keep the room dark at night, and aircon in both rooms. Theres a full kitchen a washing machine, everything you need. The host was lovely, the area is vibrant. I feel as though I really lived in Athens while I was there! If you have time, walk out of the building, go left to the end of the street and follow the steps up into the Hill of the Muses, walk around you will see the most amazing view of the Acropolise, just minutes from this apartment, stunning!

Honestly, it was pretty perfect. The shower is quite small, but typical for a city apartment, but some people may like to know this if they need more space in the shower.

great price-performance ratio - would come again at any time!

very nice stay, owners where so friendly with recommendations, check in, helping me organizing etc. Area is really great: next to Metro to the city and Tram to the public beach, many bars and restaurants around and a very nice hill 3 min. away! Decoration and furniture of the rooms with much love for the detail.

WIFI sometimes was instable (when it worked, it was great and powerful), bathroom and shower quite small

Amazing location, spotlessly clean, comfortable beds, wonderful host, welcome treats. George is an outstanding host. Great communication & very easy check in. Found parking near the apartment no problem. His recommendations were amazing. The neighbourhood is great with lovely restaurants, bakeries & bars. Definitely recommend visiting George’s wonderful jewellery shop too. Looking forward to staying here again.

Stunning clean apartment and excellent host. He told us eveything to know about the area.

Shower too small especially if u r a big or tall person. Be ready to walk a lot, uphill as well to see main attractions.

Very nice place and amazing host!

The apartment has everything you could need and it is very well decorated and clean. The temperature within the flat is ideal (no too hot or cold) and it is well located (nice restaurants and shops nearby). It is also very close to the Acropolis and to the Filapappou Hill which I strongly recommend visiting for the stunning views! The host is fantastic, he left us nice things such as a bottle of wine and a botte of water, he also gave us a few recommendations and answered all our questions! He offered availability 24/7 and he let us leave our luggage in the flat and stay a bit longer before our check out as no one was staying after us, and that was really nice. Just for the host, I would recommend 100% this place.

It is a first floor flat and sometimes it was difficult to fall sleep due to the noise from the street but nothing can be done with that! It usually happens in big cities and in central areas.

A wonderful country and Greek are all friendly, kind & warm.

Host was very accommodating & allow us to extend 2 more nights due to airlines changes to the departure date. Luckily, there was no booking for the other 2 nights. Host was kind to give complimentary bottle of wines & biscuits. the apartment has everything you ever need.

This apartment is in the Koukaki region which we really liked as it was walking distance to the centre and the Acropolis as well as having a good vibe and some lovely eating areas. George is an exceptional host who met us at the apartment and was very helpful and quick with all the questions we had- much appreciated. He also gave us a guide to some local restaurants and shops - which we used and were very happy. The apartment is clean and cosy and has everything you need for a short stay.

Incredible place and wornest welcoming! Hosts is amazing Family who get you surprised once you entered in. It was a pity that I stayed there only for one night but definitely will stay here for long period next time! Highly recommended!!!

Apartment was great. Felt like home away from home and has everything you need! George is an awesome host and responds instantly! We could not have asked for a better place to stay in Athens. We even got a crib with toys for our baby. Thanks a lot!

Cozy apartment in the center

The apartment is very stylish and cozy. Host of the apartment, George, is a very attentive and nice. He gave us detailed instructions and also his guidebook for tourists is very useful. Also he present us a bottle of wine and special and delicious homemade cookies, that was very nice. In the apartment you’ll find all necessary things and even more, coffee machine, heater, air condition, microwave, toaster and so on. If I and my family are in Athens, we’ll surely choose George’s apartment.

Lovely flat

Everything you needed was in the flat. Really nicely decorated. The owner was very friendly & helpful. There was a bottle of nice white wine & little cakes baked by the owners wife waiting for us. The flat is not far from the Acropolis metro station (about 10min). There were supermarkets & bakeries nearby.

Great location! Nicely furnished and spotlessly clean apartment. It was very easy to contact the host and to get the key. Kids enjoyed puzzles and treats. George was unbelievably hospitable and gave very useful hints about Athens. By far the best experience of renting an apartment through booking.com
