Nestled in Homer, this charming condo for $273 per night is a fantastic option for your next trip. This apartment is on the ground level surrounded by flower gardens and views of the Kenai Mountains and Kachemak Bay. The entrance is on the East side of the house and very private. Featuring one bedroom, and two bathrooms this is a good set-up for both singles and couples. The bedroom is light and airy, with an especially comfortable queen size bed and sweet views of the snow-capped mountains. Windows are equipped with black-out shades for an extra good nights sleep. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking. There is an automatic coffee-maker as well as a coffee press (there will be a sample of coffee beans from a local roaster), microwave, cookware, as well as some of the basics ingredients you will need for cooking in. The bathrooms (both) are equipped with towels, soaps, shampoos, and lotions. A washer and dryer are available for your use. The outside area includes a private garden seating from which you will enjoy the views of Kachemak Bay and the Kenai Mountains. Close to town, guests can walk to see the attractions Homer offers. The Farmers' Market is a great option for the Saturday visitor!

Very clean. Nice gardens. Very close to town. Bonus was the 4 sandhill cranes that flew into the yard and hung out for awhile. Good place for a quick overnight stay connecting with other plans.

Great property—very clean. I have stayed at the other property on the grounds owned by the same owner—it was also incredibly clean. Beds were comfortable—kitchen had everything you needed. Views were awesome—we even had a mother moose and her babies visiting in the yard. Had some changes to our stay and the owners were very accommodating and kind. Would definitely stay here again!

We had a lovely time at this garden retreat. The grounds are private and so pretty with flowers and birds. We even had a fly over very close by the Sand hill cranes as we were leaving. This place is super clean with a comfy bed. The two bathrooms were nice too. It had everything we needed. Thank you

Great communication, and easy check-in. The garden apartment is clean, light and spacious with laundry and two bathrooms that have good lighting. There's charging ports for various devices and big windows with views. It's very quiet when no tenants are staying in the house above.

This VRBO is a great place to stay in Homer. It sits on a hill just out of the town proper so you have a beautiful view of the mountains. It is roomy and very comfortable. We stayed for a week and it was a great home base. We had everything we needed including a washer and dryer which was nice. The gardens are beautifully maintained and there was a pair of resident Sandhill Cranes that visited the yard most days, one of which did a courtship dance right in front of me which I was able to video with my iPhone. Being a bird photographer, this was quite a treat! Very happy with our choice and highly recommend.

My husband and I had a wonderful time in Homer and the accommodations were perfect and centrally located. It was clean, neat, and had every thing we needed to be comfortable. The plus was having a washer and dryer to run a load. The view was amazing and surprised us every day with the scenic beauty.

Nicely updated, all the comforts of home. Two well equipped bathrooms and laundry. We seen sand hill cranes in the yard and a large cow moose. We and the moose enjoyed the delicious raspberries!

This property was perfect for us! We were able to see our son as his schedule allowed & plenty to do when he was busy. Very clean and everything we needed to feel at home for the week we were there! Having two full bathrooms was a definite plus! Phyllis even checked in through text to make sure we had everything we needed!

A great get away with a view of Homer Spit and ocean. Clean and cozy accommodations with everything we needed. Very nice, personable hosts. Lots of wildlife right outside our window…two moose and sand hill cranes parading the area. Will definitely keep this property in mind for next visit to Homer.

Unit was very well maintained, spacious, clean and nicely equipped (French press and phone charger were a bonus). Location had nice views and was conveniently located. This was a lower unit and the upper unoccupied so can’t say what the experience would be like with people above.

Phyllis's property is perfectly situated in the hills of Homer overlooking some of the town, Katchemak Bay and the mountains on the other side of the bay. The house is spacious and comfortable and I would book it again.

Quiet place with a great view!! Heater worked well on chilly rainy days. Comfortable beds, nice towels, great amenities. Only thing missing is an outdoor fire pit, but we loved sitting outside and relaxing anyway. Would stay again.

Myself, my mother and my 2 boys, age 4 and 7 all stayed here and we loved it. The views were spectacular, location is super quiet and my boys could play hide and seek outside. It’s the simple things with kids sometimes. We will for sure stay here again in the next couple years. Also very close to the spit. Phyllis was fantastic!

The house is spotless, very quiet and in good location close to downtown Homer.The tile floor is perfect for our dog! It is very easy to clean.Comfy bed, big kitchen and two full bathrooms!We will stay here again next time we are in Homer.

We each had our own bathroom, lots of space, (like being in a huge apartment) immaculate. The driveway to the property really needs to be leveled out, it was like driving a jeep trail. That was our only negative, everything else was wonderful.

We loved the property and the view. The weather helped as we had a G& T or two each evening looking over the bay. Inside was fantastic with a really comfortable bed. It is the best accommodation we have stayed in in Alaska. Loved having a gas BBQ, hope I was able to Kleen it enough. Sarah and I were in town for fishing, hiking, and bay cruises and this apartment was perfect. A moose dropped by on two different days with her baby, also sand hill cranes visited. Plenty of black-out curtains for getting a regular rest for us outsiders. Close to town, everything works, thanks!
