About this house rental
You will understand why this house is named 'Discovery Place' once you experience the breathtaking views from this charming mountain hideaway. Located on Famous Peak 7 a little over a mile away from the base of Peak 7 at Breckenridge Ski Area. Here you will experience some of the best skiing Colorado has to offer in every ability category. Discovery Place is one of a kind and is waiting to provide you with life long memories of the Colorado Rocky Mountains. Discovery Place has Four Bedrooms plus a loft area and Three Bathrooms. The Master Suite is located on the top level which has a King bed with it's own separate bath. The loft has two twin beds and is a great place for the little ones in your group especially since there is such easy access to this area, no pesky ladder steps. On The main floor you will find two bedrooms and one bathroom. One bedroom with a King bed and the other with a Queen bed. This level boasts a fully equipped kitchen with warm kitchen cabinets and granite countertops. There is a large dining room table and living area with a natural wood burning fireplace all decorated in beautiful mountain decor. On the Entry level you will find one bedroom with a King bed and one bathroom. The entry level also has a natural wood burning fireplace and entertaining area with a Ping-Pong Table. This level has a card table, flat screen TV with surround sound, blue ray and ipod player. We also provide heated boot dryers with capacity for 8 pairs of boots so they are nice and toasty for the next day of skiing. There is a full size washer and dryer available for your use during your stay. I also contract with a certified massage therapist who will come right to your door to soothe your tired muscles after a hard day playing. We had an excellent time at this property. Ryan was very responsive and provided assistance where needed. Check-in was extremely easy, which was great. The house was perfect for our group of 8.

The house was perfect for our family trip. We had 4 couples and everyone had their own space. The kitchen had everything you could need to stay in and cook some meals, but close enough to town to go out. Weather was perfect and love the moose that were hanging out one day. It was a fantastic way for all of us to catch up since we are all spread out over the country. Already planning the next trip!! Thanks Ryan for sharing your beautiful home.

House was clean and ready when we arrived. Not to far from Breckinridge and about a 10 minute drive into town.

The place was nice, close to peak 8 by car. We had a great time, especially since we had car troubles and were stuck at the house. The hot tub got good use. The house was bit dry, but we found the humidifiers, and that worked out. The kitchen has all the tools and pots and pans we needed.
Overall, a great experience at the house.

Great space, even better views! Plenty of room for a large group. Open concept in the main floor allows for perfect family gathering time. Kids enjoyed the loft area. Also, very close to Breckinridge main shopping and restaurants. Less than 5 minutes from Breckinridge ski resort.

We would highly recommend the Discovery Place rental property. It is in a beautiful, rustic, and peaceful setting, yet not far from entertainment locations. The house was well equipped, clean, and comfortable. There was plenty of room for guests to relax -- on the deck, in the hot tub, on the couches, playing table tennis, or visiting over a meal. Concerns were addressed in a timely manner by a considerate and friendly management staff. We enjoyed our stay and are extremely grateful that this location was available to us.

Outstanding view.
Outstanding view. Good location for the sightseeing and activities we did. The weather was perfect. Cool mountain air was so welcome after several weeks of over 100 degree heat in Texas. Although the altitude did cause a lot of huffing and puffing when climbing stairs or doing any type of exercise, mostly with those of us who are older. Enjoyed seeing a mother moose and her two calves walk right by the house twice while we were there. All in all we had a great family reunion. Only complaints were that the bed on the lower level was not very comfortable and the shower curtain needed to be cleaned or replaced. Would definitely stay here again.

One of the large window shades no longer opens, and the shower doors on the main kitchen level could be repaired or replaced. 2 of the 4 boot dryers work, but what a life saver! The Weber grill was great to grill our steaks 🥩. A stellar place for a ski week, and we’d consider staying here again!

Great ski chalet!

This is a very clean and well maintained home with comfy beds, comfy heating, screened windows to open for fresh mountain air and a deck to enjoy the beautiful mountain views. A bull moose visited while we were here and munched all the blue flowers around the house as we all stood watching him from the deck. We enjoyed the hot tub after a strenuous day playing games with the family! Hiking is close by and Dillon reservoir for kayaking. Thank you for sharing this great location with us!

Great spring break getaway! The house had everything we needed. We had one minor setback, reached out to owner via VRBO and they were there to help.
Property had a small stroller we used for our 3 year old when going into town. There were also a couple sleds on property the kids used almost everyday to enjoy sledding outside.
Separate levels worked out great for our family.

Beautiful view!
Loved our scenic view from the patio and glass windows every morning. Also at nights seeing the lights of downtown Breck. The beds were super comfortable and the kitchen very spacious. Overall, the house was very cozy!

We loved the house. It was so cozy and very close to Peak 8 where we initially went for ski school as well as just to get on the mountain in general. The house was exactly as pictured. The hot tub was amazing and the house overall was just a treat. We will definitely stay here again when we visit Breckenridge.
