Great Rates At Keystone - Close to Gondola - Unlimited Ski Area Views from Pool
About this condo rental
Situated in Keystone, this charming condo for $206 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. (Permit #STR21-02116) Location: Keystone Ski Area, River Run, Red Hawk Lodge. Northwest Colorado, USA (1.5 hours from Denver, 8 minutes to A-Basin Ski Area, 20 Minutes to Breckenridge, 25 minutes to Copper Mountain Ski Area, 35 minutes to Vail) ACCOMMODATIONS: Ski-in / Ski-Out 2 bdrm, 2 bath Condo (sleeps 4-6) The Gondola and Ski School are both a very quick walk from the Red Hawk building. This is all part of River Run, the European style community at the base of the Keystone Mountain. From the pool and hot tub area you have an unrestricted 180 degree view of the entire Ski Area (see pics). It is quite a sight to behold at night, particularly while grilling out by the pool or enjoying the hot tub. With its close proximity to the Gondola, it is quick and easy to come "home" for a quick lunch, take a break, etc. It is also that much easier to head out for a quick night run, as River Run is illuminated for night skiing. The Summit Express, a high speed quad, also serves River Run, right next to the gondola. The paved path to the gondola is adjacent to the Red Hawk building. This becomes the bike path in the summer and continues through Dillon then over Vail Pass all the way into the heart of Vail - a great bike trip to make in the summer. You will see this path in the photos; it is adjacent to the pool area. (This is NOT blocked from the construction of 23/24) Red Hawk Lodge and our neighbor building are the two newest buildings in River Run. As such, the buildings are just a bit higher quality, and include very nice amenities. Red Hawk's amenities include: • free high speed internet • heated outdoor pool with unobstructed view of ski area. • 2 hot tubs • steam room and sauna • small fitness room • pool table / TV / game room • Private access heated garage with elevator for Red Hawk guests exclusively. • a nice area for ski lockers so you don’t have to carry all your stuff up to the condo, taking up space, etc. • easy (5 minute walk) access to all that River Run has to offer: great bars, restaurants, ski shops, day care, the Warren Station Events Center, etc. and of course a Starbucks. • Take a walk along the bike path away from the ski area... it follows the river for a serene break... night time is even better for stargazing and quiet. This unit has a King bed in the master bedroom, two singles in the 2nd bedroom, and the living room has a double sofa sleeper with an upgraded memory foam mattress. All three TVs are connected to DISH satellite. There is ROKU on the Living Room TV. Note that this unit does not have air conditioning. AC is almost non existent in Summit County and particularly the condominium units in River Run. If the unit is too warm the remedy is to open the windows and/or sliding door. That, in combination with the exceptionally low humidity up there, provides for sufficient comfort for most people. Required by permit: Permit # STR21-02116 Max occupancy is 8 (sleeping for 6) One indoor parking space is provided (more may be possible; contact property mgr) Trash bins are in parking structure. Great location and great property. Perfect for our family of four. Short walk to the lefts and to River Tun village. Would stay again for sure!

"Amazing stay at a top notch Keystone property! The location was fantastic, just a stone's throw from the gondola and the main village, with stunning snow covered mountains views. The check-in and check-out process was a breeze, and both the owner and property manager were excellent in their communication. Our December vacation experience had the look and feel like of a storybook Christmas Village. Can't recommend this place enough!"

The Condo was nice, but there were a few issues. The couch and chair in the living room were uncomfortable. The shower in one of the bathrooms does not work properly. When you pull the handle up to turn off the tub and turn on the shower, it doesn’t cut off all the water to the tub, which creates a lack of water pressure to the shower. If you like to sit out on the balcony in the morning to look at the view of the mountains while you have a cup of coffee, the sun will be directly in your eyes from about 8am to 10am. That time frame will change depending on the time of year.
All three beds were incredibly comfortable and the location is excellent.

The title says it all - the balcony views were amazing and we loved the pool area. We would definitely recommend this condo. It had everything we need and the management company was very helpful. Someone even brought a fan because it was so hot. The beds were super comfy and it was a great place to relax after hiking and exploring.

This unit was perfect. It's on the fourth floor and has a gorgeous view down the valley. Convenient location with an easy walk to the gondola. Current construction made it a bit more difficult to get to River run but still felt like I was part of the village. The on-site pool and steam room were a plus. Kitchen was well equipped but does not have a crock pot. We were greeted by moose last night on the way back to the unit which was a once in a lifetime opportunity

This should almost be called a ski-in/ski-out. We had a 4 and 7 year old and the walk to the Keystone base was super easy. Very enjoyable experience. The property is clean, comfortable, and little things like the humidifier, the fireplace, the closet space, the condiments all made it so easy to travel with kids. The only negative is not having towels at the pool/hottub. We were told not to use the towels from our room and had quite a shock (both days) when there were no remaining towels. Perhaps check down before going or pack accordingly. Thanks again, we will be back!

Overall great. Construction made finding parking ramp difficult.
Wish there would have been a guest book and more info available in regards to local events.

I visit Keystone every summer and this condo has the BEST view yet! The bathrooms are quite large, the noise is minimal (especially for the River Run area), and there are plenty of amenities in the complex. The balcony was fabulous. Very impressed!

This is the 3rd year our family has had a summer trip to Keystone and the 2nd time in the Red Hawk condos. We loved the condo - it had everything we needed for our family of four. The owner was awesome and contacted us directly as there was a little hiccup in the check-in process (but we would never even have noticed). The property manager had all of the pertinent info to us for the check in when we arrived. The condo itself has amazing views, a great pool for relaxing with the kids after a long day of exploring and comfortable accomodations. We will definitely be back!

Great Summer Spot!
It was very quiet and not crowded. We went on the Georgetown Train Loop, whitewater rafting with Rocky Mountain Rafting Company, fed chipmunks at Sapphire Point, rode the gondola in Breckenridge, and hit many hiking spots. There are many restaurants, bars, and shops nearby (1 min walk). Great views. You can choose your temperature between 45 and 90 depending on how high and when you want to go on any given day.

Check in process was very easy. The room was a disappointment. We arrived late due to a winter storm, around 1am. Walked in after a long day to find no sheets on the master bed. I called the after hours emergency line but the individual was an hour away and with the snow on the roads it'd be closer to two hours. We were asked to take sheets from the other beds for the evening. Upon inspection the sheets were never changed. They were dirty and covered in hair. We ended up spraying the bed with lysol and using t-shirts as pillow cases. There was trash from the previous renter still on top of cabinets and furniture in the living room. I asked for management to call me regarding the condition of the room but never received a call. Wifi information was not included in the instructions, the area was left blank. It took them 2 days to get back to us with the information. The carpet is so old and has gotten wet so many times its almost petrified. IDK about you but for tree hundo a night and a un hundo trenty flive buck cleaning fee I don't think its unreasonable to expect there to be clean sheets on the beds. I took pictures and uploaded them into an imgur gallery.

In the end it just depends what you're looking for. If you're staying with a group and just partying then it's probably not so bad , the frat parties all around us seemed to be having a good time. Otherwise you'll be better off somewhere else.
