About this house rental
Located in Ocean City, this attractive house for $668 per night is a great choice for your next break. ****Important**** A Linen & Towel Package is included for all rentals between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend only. The package includes linens for all the beds and sleeper sofa, where applicable, as well as towel sets equal to max occupancy, a bathmat for each full bathroom and 2 kitchen towels. For rentals outside of that timeframe, guests will need to bring their own or we have a rental option upon request. You will be welcomed by large, brightly colored town homes with large front porches and brick sidewalks that are reminiscent of a Charleston, SC neighborhood. Lighted quiet streets lend themselves to romantic early evening strolls as you take in the neighborhood, the views of the water that surrounds the island on 3 sides and of course those fabulous Ocean City sunsets. During the day, kids can be seen riding bikes on those same streets and enjoying the open play area throughout the community. This year-round community features a clubhouse with an indoor and outdoor pool, a state-of-the-art fitness center, private beaches, a community boat ramp, boat slips, a fishing/crabbing pier, shoreline walking paths and even interactive water fountains for the kids. If that wasn't enough, there is also a general store, a cafe and a restaurant located right on the shores of the bay! Located just 1.5 blocks from the beach, this Sunset Island is ready to make this your best Ocean City vacation ever! If you are going to stay in this fabulous community, then you should be staying at an equally as impressive home. This beautiful 5 BR 4.5 BA unit will accommodate 12 people and is exactly what you want! This home features 4 nicely appointed levels. On the first level you will find a bedroom with its own private bath and the laundry area. As you move up to the main level, there is the living room, 2 dining areas, a sitting area and a fully equipped gourmet kitchen that is ready for all of your culinary creations! The 3rd level hosts the master bedroom with private bath and 2 additional bedrooms with a shared bath. The 4th level has a private suite with its own bathroom and a private balcony that gives you a view of the bay! Come stay at this incredible resort and create your own Ocean City memories! THINGS TO KNOW: * The community resort fee includes parking for 3 cars and 6 pool passes. The price is as follows 1/1 to 4/30 = $100, 5/1 to 5/21 = $150, 5/22 to 9/10 = $200, 9/11 - 9/30 = $150 and 10/1 to 12/31 = $100. Additional pool and parking passes may be purchased at $70 each. These fees will be due at the time of check-in at Sunset Island. * Sorry no pets allowed. * This is a non-smoking/ non-vaping unit. * There is parking for 3 vehicles- 1 in the garage and 2 on the driveway outside of the garage. * Quick access to the beach * The boardwalk runs from the inlet to 27th street. This condo is on 67th street. * This unit does not rent to graduating seniors or to parents renting on behalf of graduating seniors. Sorry, no exceptions. All individuals in a non-family group must be a minimum of 25. The minimum age for groups increases to 30 on holiday weekends. * A Linens & Towel Package is included for all rentals between Memorial Day weekend and Labor Day weekend only. Our family enjoyed staying at Sunset Island. There is so much to do with leaving the resort. It was a short walk to the beach, shopping and restaurants. The home fit our family and was very spacious.

The location and set up of the house is amazing. However, if you want to use your pool passes the first night you better get there at 4 because the office closes at 4:30- stupid set up on timing. Also beware the passes you need to park and swim are delegate costs paid out of pocket when you arrive, when we arrived our place had barely been cleaned. Dirty toilets with gunk where the bolts fasten seat to toilet, broken toilet paper holders hanging out of the walls, wobbly dining chairs, crumbs on surfaces and on floor in bedroom 1 and kitchen surfaces not wiped down and carpets need cleaning.

Rental process smooth and easy! Check In very easy! We had a wonderful 4 Generations of family vacation! Only problem we encountered was that Cleaning Service does not perform very well. We had to wipe down tables, due to spills that were not cleaned by the previous tenants. All in all, we love Sunset Island.

Beautiful property
This was our first time staying at Sunset Island. There were 8 of us ranging in age from 2 months to 68 years old. There was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space and privacy, and also enough room on the main level for everyone to enjoy a meal together or watch TV. The community itself is beautiful with plenty of activities. We rented kayaks one afternoon and were also in walking distance of many shops and restaurants.

The house needs a deep cleaning: carpets shampooed, bath mats and rugs should be washed or replaced after each rental, shower glass doors and shower floors scrubbed, air filters changed, mold removed from ice maker, sofas and upholstered chairs shampooed. There were dead insects in one kitchen cabinet and ants in one bedroom as well as living area. Simple repairs were needed throughout the house, we provided a list to the management company as well as an email describing the condition of the house. To date, we received no response.

It is easy to locate and within walking distance to pool and lovely bay beach. The house was cleaned but had soiled bath rugs and showers. I cleaned before use!! The garage door opener and light switches were very dirty. Otherwise I loved the house and neighborhood. Will stay there again.

We checked in the place and found out that is dirty and have not been cleaned! Contacted the rental company and after couple of call and text messages, they realized that they forgot to clean the property! After driving 5 hours to get there now we had to wait another 3 hours for them to clean place!

The townhouse was everything we had expected. The rooms were big and it was great to have bathrooms for all are adult children. We loved the deck and used it each day. The FR/LR/Kitchen area was great. We were VERY disappointed at the unavailability of the community pool. One of the biggest reasons we chose this location was access to pool for our grandchildren. We were diligent about trying to get signed up, but each and every time we were blocked out. We contacted the property managers looking for some assistance but were basically not heard. COVID was not the problem...the problem was we were not given sufficient info or time to "beat the rush" and it was apparent that other groups knew the system better than we did. Since we were not going out for dinners (due to our large group, small grandchildren and COVID, we had counted on being able to break up the day for the kids by using the pool. As always, the OC beaches were beautiful. All of this said, we still rate the experience good and hope that next year we can be given better access to the community pool.
