About this condo rental
Situated in Texas City, this lovely condo for $469 per night is a great option for your next break. Come on down to our special corner of Galveston --a terrific corner condo that overlooks the Gulf, the Galveston skyline and the bay. It's an end unit that goes from front-to-back of the building. Since the condo is right on the beach, you'll have sensational views no matter where you look! We’ve just completely remodeled the kitchen, installing quartz countertops, new cabinets, appliances and lighting. The look is fresh and inviting. Our condo is a great get-away spot on quiet East Beach, perhaps the best beach in Galveston. Not on the busy Seawall, this condo is just five minutes away from there, and the Strand, whenever you're ready to party! Here you can watch the sun rise or set from one of three balconies: two balconies looking towards the Gulf and one overlooking the bay and natural area. Or you can walk outdoors and right onto the beach, where you can stroll for miles. Or just sit and bask in the sun. There's no Seawall Blvd. to navigate. The condo features two bedrooms and three full bathrooms. The unit sleeps six comfortably -- two in the beachside bedroom featuring a king, two on a queen in the bayside bedroom, and two on the sleeper sofa in the living room. Three baths with showers and tubs accommodate our guests. So folks in the bedrooms and folks on the sleeper sofa have separate bathrooms. The brand new kitchen includes everything you'll need to whip up a boiled shrimp dinner or a pancake breakfast. There's a microwave, three coffeemakers, new electric range, new fridge, and for easy clean-up, a dishwasher and disposal. The queen bedroom also has a small fridge and coffee bar. We've installed password-protected wireless internet access, so you can easily and securely stay in touch while away. Both bedrooms have flat-screen TVs, in addition to the flat-screen TV in the living room. We have beach chairs, beach toys and an umbrella in the condo for guest use. Elevators whisk you to our sixth-floor location. Downstairs are a laundry, a pool for a refreshing dip, and sports courts for basketball, tennis and pickle ball. This was a well appointed, comfortable condo. The kitchen was wonderfully equipped, with plenty of dishes. The beds were comfy, and we had everything we needed. Communication was fantastic.

We took a long weekend at the beach & this condo was even better than the listing photos and those looked amazing. The condo is spacious, clean, and very homey and stocked with plenty of blankets, dishes, and cookware to make it feel like a home away from home. The views from all the balconies are phenomenal and the beach wasn’t crowded and was very clean and beautiful. Plus the fact they have beach chairs, umbrellas, and other goodies was so thoughtful. The grounds of the condo are beautiful, the pool is clean and nice. Overall you couldn’t ask for nicer hosts or a better place to stay at the beach!

We were extremely happy with this unit. The comfort, the beauty, right on the beach, and the people working at the condos were super nice. The rooms were very comfortable for our crew of six, and the unit was very well stocked with necessities. It is close to the public beach but it felt very private and quiet. We will certainly stay here when returning to Galveston.

We were pleasantly surprised with how big this condo was! 2 en-suite bedrooms plus an additional full bath. Plenty of space and then some for our little family. We were in town for a soccer tournament so didn’t spend a whole lot of time in the condo itself, but it had everything we needed. The place was clean, very well kept and well stocked with the necessities.
Front desk staff was welcoming and very friendly each time we walked through the door.
I didn’t need to reach out to owner at all during stay but did upon initial reservation and she was prompt to reply. Instructions provided for entry/ checkin were extremely detailed and left no questions unanswered.
Looking forward to visiting again and highly recommend staying here!

My husband and I really enjoyed our stay in this beautiful condo. It was perfectly decorated and clean and so comfortable. The panoramic views were so lovely especially at sunset and sunrise. It was quiet and serene, just we wanted. We will definitely be back to this condo on our next visit to Galveston! Thanks to Barbara!!

LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this condo!! Been here multiple times, and is always a wonderful experience! Additionally, this time we walked in and found that Barbara had made MANY improvements in the unit: new appliances, countertops, cabinetry, living room and dining furniture ... we were blown away!! And, as usual, the proximity to the beach, Seawall and Strand can't be beat!! We will be back ... AGAIN!!

Cons: The complex is old and needs some updates. Washing machine / dryer / ice machine are in the main lobby instead of the condo, but that’s just my preference.

Perfect! The condo is perfectly located. The ease of checking in and out was the best I’ve ever experienced. The size was perfect for 3 adults to rest and relax. The kitchen was well stocked and the appliances were all very good. Barbara was accommodating to all my questions. It truly was a perfect weekend getaway. Can’t wait to come back!

This condo is well maintained and in a very secure property away from the noise and traffic on the seawall, yet minutes from all that by car. The pool is well maintained and the boardwalk to the beach is in good condition. It is a bit of a walk to the waters edge, but easy for physically fit individuals.
The kitchen is well stocked and plenty of beach accessories are available. The condo coin washers and dryers were very handy as we had just returned from a cruise.
Front and back balconies were really great for enjoying the views.

Very nice condo. Great views from LL 3 balconies. Only thing that would have been better, is if, it was a shorter walk to the beach. The owner was great in her responses to us.

The condo has 3 balconies offering stunning views of the Gulf and the surrounding wetlands. I loved the little boardwalk to the beach - lots of flowers. The condo is spacious and there is plenty of privacy for occupants. East Beach is quiet and secluded. The condo staff were friendly and helpful. The pool is pristine and we swam twice a day. Good water pressure and WiFi. Some suggestions for improvement: there are dozens of unnecessary small accents pillows. What we wanted were good sleeping pillows which aren't expensive. The ones in this condo are worn out. Also, we removed the polyester bedspread which caused us to sweat because that kind of fabric doesn't breath. We were lucky to find an old cotton blanket that was more comfortable.

The location of this condo is perfect! It was convenient to everything, but allowed us access to a quiet beach. Even with the storms that moved in, we were able to sit on the balconies and enjoy the views. We will definitely be back!
