Perfect place for a bachelorette party. So much entertaining room, adequate bed space, 2 bathrooms. Plenty of linens/towels provided. Keep in mind there were no cooking pans and the ice machine doesn't work, other than that the kitchen was pretty stocked. Walking distance to bars such as Uptown Social, which was super handy, and some small grocery stores. Host also gave us info for a parking deck a couple blocks down - cost $50-65 total for 3 nights. Slept 10, one slept on the pull out couch (not too comfy), and another on a provided twin size blow up mattress that was off the floor which was neat. Thanks for helping make the bride's weekend amazing!

The only thing I would suggest is if you offer an ironing board and iron you may want to have a iron pad and cover on the ironing board. I had to iron on blankets. Other than that it was a great experience

Overall this house was a great location for Charleston. We came for a bachelorette trip and everything was pretty much walking distance. There were plenty of towels, toiletries and cups/plates. Plenty of room for our group of girls. The check in process was difficult due to lack of communication by the owner. We thought he was maybe overwhelmed because there were a lot of groups check in in a t the same time and he seemed to be cleaning himself. The ice machine was broken so we were told he would bring ice, which he never did. Beds were comfortable but sheets had some holes in them in a few of the rooms. The soap dispensers in the bathroom did not work. I think overall better communication and answering of messages would have made my rating higher.

Well located to King Street. We walked to King street and to Market as well to some great restaurants. Nice stay for family time.

This was the perfect place to stay for my sister’s bachelorette in Charleston! Short walk from everything on King St. We loved it!

The location is excellent, you can not find a better property or host in town. Every detail was spot on and every square inch pristinely clean. Would go back and stay in the same location!

The Carpenter Suite at the Charleston Compound was such a great choice for our 9-person group! -Location is wonderful: just two blocks from upper King Street near great shopping, dining, and night-life. -Neighborhood felt very safe. -The suite itself was larger than it looked in the photos: the living area + dining table + kitchen was plenty spacious for the group. -On-site parking was very convenient! -The suite was very clean. It felt fresh, airy, and modern. The beds were so comfortable! -For our group of mostly girls, there were several places (mirrors + counters + several outlets) to get ready outside of the bathroom, which made those logistics much easier. Our group was so happy with the suite, we definitely recommend it. Thanks Andrew for creating a great temporary home and for the super easy check-in and check-out process!

Highly recommend this perfect 4 bedroom 2 bathroom spot! It is comfortable, trendy, and in the perfect location for a girls weekend of any sort!

Perfect place for a trip to Charleston. Walking distance to restaurants on King. Andrew was very helpful. We had a plumbing problem at the house, and he responded quickly. It was fixed within the hour. Would recommend this place to others!
