The location was beautiful, and streams nearby was a big bonus.
Cabin could have been a bit cleaner. Mainly just the windows.
1.0
The location
It was misleading there is no running water and it wasn't cabin it was sheds and there was no toilet in them
3.0
Despite understanding that the property was very rustic in Nature was very disappointed to arrive late in evening and then be placed in cabin furthest away from any facilities when there were clearly other cabins available closer. The road was lethal for driving a low sitting car and we were lucky not to have damaged the exhaust/ base of car.
On entering the cabin it was clear it has not been used in some time and was musty and very dusty..in addition the furniture was old the mattresses were smelly, dirty and stained.
It was a disappointing experience Despite Michael telling us that he hoped we understood what we had booked..I think basic tidiness and cleanliness is an expectation even in a camp/ cabin environment. It was a pity because the site is in a great location but clearly regular maintenance has not happened in recent times. The showers near the mdkn house were OK but again not clean.

Seclusion, Creekside
It had mice living in the roof insulation. It had a Porta pot for a bathroom

The distance between the cabins was great.
The quietness of the area was very nice.
Staff very courteous.

A great experience. Good location, drinking water provided. I was afraid when I read some comments, but it is really what you pay for. A comfortable cabin to sleep and enjoy the nature..

Very remote and secluded. Great value if you want to disconnect and enjoy nature
Cabins could definitely be marked a little better got there after dark and had trouble finding the right cabin.

Absolutely horrible vacation we have ever taken!! The weeds were very high no fishing in streams had to use a portable toilet that was probably 300 ft away from where we was the shower house was nasty no fire extinguisher the bunkbeds that my mother in law and father in law and daughter slept on was loosing parts the cabin had wires showing and it wasn't clean smelled horrible when we arrived!!! We will never ever go back to this horrible horrible place. It put you in the mind of the movie Wrong Turn!!!! My husband and my self had to sleep on the floor on a mattress

Grounds were pretty

It had a great camping feel and the grounds were nice. Staff were mostly friendly and helpful. It's definitely something to do here and there for a good outdoor experience. Probably would stay again.
Cabins had lots of potential but were dirty. Mattresses needed replaced yesterday. Road was a hazard on the vehicle.

Cabins are wells spaced apart.
The road was really ruff. The cabin was musty smelling from not being used that often. Had to get a key to use the shower house and a code to use the ports John that went with the cabin. Not worth the price we paid for a electric cabin.

How secluded.
Port a potties could use cleaned more frequently.
10.0
The location. Being in the woods is one thing, being in an area where wildlife thrives and you could possibly encounter some is exciting. Can't get that at a state park near Pittsburgh. Lol
I really liked the bigger Cabin options and would have gladly paid extra if the available options we liked were equipped with electric.
5.0
The location and scenery.
Open roof exposing insulation, not finished. Curtains look like they have not been washed in years. Curtain rods bent. Beds have mattress and box springs sitting on the floor. Beds in lofts were just old mattresses laying on the floor.
7.0
Very quiet and nice people
Porta potty was not close to the cabin
6.0
The location was beautiful. The stars and river were very wonderful.
There was no running water nearby, and the cabins were definitely well worn.
