Where Music City Meets Nature \nPermit #201512950
About this house rental
Nestled in East Nashville, this charming house for $528 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Although this East Nashville area home sits in the middle of nature with a huge park and paved trails right in its backyard, it is just minutes away from some of Nashville's hottest establishments including nationally recognized restaurants, music venues, bars, and eclectic shops. It's not far from Downtown Nashville and also less than 10 minutes to the Opry area. If you want to live like a local and enjoy the outdoors, you'll love it here. This completely renovated 2,200+ square foot 4 bedroom home has a spacious kitchen with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances, huge living room plus den, four bedrooms including a large primary suite with a freshly remodeled spa-like bathroom, and one additional full bathroom. Light pours into the living space as windows overlook the scenic park. Fully stocked kitchen sits between the dining room and exterior deck for easy access for those who wish to entertain. A deck looks privately onto the huge and luscious trees of Shelby Bottoms Park with owls, rabbits, tree frogs, and deer making frequent appearances in the backyard. As the Cumberland River is right around the corner, the General Jackson riverboat cruise can be heard in the distance with its lively music. Guests have access to the full house, yard, off street parking in the driveway, and direct entrance into the Shelby Bottoms Greenways. The Greenways are miles and miles of paved biking and walking trails extending throughout East Nashville all the way to Downtown Nashville, plus over to the Donelson/Opry areas, Mount Juliet, and beyond. Everybody from marathon runners to competitive cyclists to families taking leisurely strolls enjoy the tree-lined paths along the river, and hiking trails add a little diversion to the paths. Free wi-fi and cable are provided, with a large flat screen in the living room. Inside, the kitchen is fully stocked with newer appliances (fridge, dishwasher, stove, microwave), a toaster, blender, coffee maker, tea kettle, dishes, pots/pans, and spices. A new full-sized washer and dryer is available to guests free of charge, and is convenient to the four bedrooms. The reason we purchased this home was because it seemed to be the perfect blend between having city conveniences with wide open spaces and nature in the backyard. Megan is a city girl, Adam is more of a country loving boy, and this awesome location fulfilled both needs. The Greenways are amazing and having the river within steps helped calm our desire to be near water. Riverside Village is less than a five minute drive and includes: 1. Nationally recognized Mitchell Deli, which was featured on TLC's America's Best Sandwich. 2. Village Pub neighborhood bar with locally famous Moscow Mules and pretzel sandwiches. 3. Dose Cafe and Dram Bar serves excellent food, coffee, plus cocktails, and is a great place to work remotely. 4. Castrillo's Pizza with by the slice during the day and delivery at night. 5. Lou is renowned for brunch and dinner. 6. Riverside Pharmacy for medical needs or items you forgot to pack, plus a doctor's office next door that allows walk ins. East Nashville's gorgeous historic neighborhoods, nationally recognized restaurants, music venues, and bars are an easy few minute drive or Uber/Lyft/Cab ride away. Getting around Downtown Bus transportation can be accessed at Cooper Ln and McGavock. Cab rides from downtown Nashville run about $15-$20 Lyft is available in Nashville as is Uber ((website hidden)). Download the app for ride tracking. Nashville also has a Bicycle program and with the Greenways that can be used from getting to and from the house to downtown and beyond: (website hidden) Other Things to Note Available is a charcoal BBQ. We spent a long family weekend at this property. The house was as advertised. Very clean, well stocked and very comfortable. The nearby greenway was a great place to hike and provided my 6 year old vacation and all of us a place to walk, burn energy, see many deer and birds. I have stayed in many VRBO’s and this was one of the most livable places we have stayed. I would highly recommend this property.

The house was truly amazing- incredibly clean, spacious, and had everything included that you could need. The owners were so kind and responsive. The neighborhood is quiet and the trails behind the house were fantastic. An absolutely fantastic stay!

We came into town for a wedding, and found this a lovely place to stay. Getting up in the morning to watch deer grazing in the back yard was a treat and the birds greeted us as well. The paved path behind the property provided much needed relaxation from the activities. We could smell how clean things were when we walked in. Would recommend this place without hesitation.

Enjoyed our stay! Clean and great location. Only note I would make would be to have the check in information sooner because we had family meeting us there from other states and they were asking for it earlier.

It was our first visit to Nashville. The house was in a great location. It was close to downtown but far enough to enjoy a calm environment. It was clean and well taken care of.

From the moment we walked in everything was perfect. The property was clean and inviting. The extras they had were phenomenal.

Went for a 5 day stay to explore Nashville with my sister and our husbands. Location was good if you like to be off the beaten path and quiet, which we did. Being next to the greenway was awesome for taking walks! Distance to downtown wasn’t bad. The house is a bit run down but ok. The hosts were very responsive.

Where Music City Meets Nature was perfect for our Nashville trip! The property was clean, spacious, and comfortable. We enjoyed the trail behind it and the deer sightings that came with it. The drive into downtown Nashville was very easy and quicker than we expected. We will definitely stay here again during our next visit!

This home was the perfect place for 8 old "baby boomers" to relax and rest our bodies while taking in the sites and sounds of Nashville! A quick drive to Opryland across the river or a short trip on Uber to Broadway, the Ryman, and music row, this home is in a residential setting and helped make our Nashville trip a stunning success at an affordable price. A big thank you to our hosts!

We really enjoyed your home! We visited from Kentucky on our annual girls’ trip. Your home was welcoming and we loved the wildlife visitors. We used the deck and dining room the most. It was nice and convenient to downtown and the Opryland. We used the bikes to take a morning ride. You may want to give them a little wd40. Everything was smooth and what we were expecting!

My family and I were here to celebrate Father’s Day. Megan and Adam (the owners) had everything organized for us. The house was very clean. Great website for us to plan our stay. Older, but cute neighborhood. Overall, great weekend getaway!

We had an amazing stay. Hi sue was perfect. Loved the outdoors and all amenities. The owners Megan and Adam were amazing. Very nice and fast responding. They made the stay 100 times better. Would definitely recommend their place. About a 10-15 min ride to broadway perfect location has no problems with driving or getting an Uber/Lyft.

The house was perfect for us - 8 adults. Loved the location, with wildlife wandering past. Very comfortable, very well equipped. We had a small problem, which happens, and Adam was round in an hour to fix it. Very very happy with everything.

Over all very nice, a couple of lights did not work, master shower sprayer control selector fell off, nearly hit my foot, needs to be attached firmly, walk nature area was nice for walking, mattress in master bedroom was weak, tv did not get local channels; but over all very clean and nice

5 stars doesn't do this home justice. The home was beautiful and spacious. It had EVERYTHING you need..plus more that you probably won't need. In the middle of the city sits this oasis...it backs up to the Greenbelt so you have plenty of peace. Rabbits, red birds, owls and we even saw 6 deer feeding in the yard!
Megan and Adam were so informative, very quick to response..and even helped us navigate around town through several events like Taylor Swift! There were 8 adults and 1 two years old..all family there to celebrate my daughter's wedding. My families were so impressed with this home. I can't emphasize how lovely this home and owners are. Thank you!!!!!

We spent a long weekend at the property. It was exactly as presented- immaculately clean, spacious, fully equipped. A lovely, peaceful location on the Greenway that provided a respite after a busy day in downtown Nashville. The hosts were informative and when I texted with a question, they sent a helpful response immediately. Highly recommend.

Very comfortable for the 4 of us. Loved having our own bedrooms. Living spaces and dining area can easily accommodate 8 people. The kitchen was well equipped. We enjoyed walking the trials along the water behind the house each morning. Used ride shares to Broadway daily. The rates were reasonable except for late Friday night when we were looking to get home after a show. We would definitely try to stay here again when we come back to Nashville. Adam and Megan are great hosts! Thank you!

We did not use the house for much more than resting our heads. That said it was a great place. Plenty of space to spread out for 6 people. All a pretty fresh remodel it was updated quite nice and very clean. About a 10 min drive to town. Uber showed up quick every time, so bonus there.

This was the perfect house for our stay. We traveled with 3 young children (including an infant) and the space was perfect! The owners were fantastic at communication both before, during, and after our stay. Having a pack n play and high chair on property was fantastic and saved on us needing to bring those items. The trail behind the house made for some great walks as a family and we loved seeing the deer every morning/evening from the windows. Close to downtown and all adventures yet felt private of a space and great neighborhood! Would 100% stay again!

The hosts were amazing. The property was wonderful far enough away to be quiet, but close enough to the strip to be enjoyable. We had an absolute blast you would not be disappointed if you rented this property.

My family spent Christmas in Nashville. We had booked several outings/tours but sub zero temps squashed those plans. Most of our days were spent in the home playing board games, enjoying the spacious home and sitting in front of the fireplace chatting. The home is very spacious, and comfy. We absolutely loved it. We are talking of returning next Christmas and enjoying more of the city. Adam and Megan home is a great place to come "home" to. They were great hosts, communicated well and knowledgeable of the area when I had a question.

Our family was together for a family wedding. This house suited us perfectly. The kitchen was a great meeting spot with adjacent seating for meals in the dining area. The kitchen was well-stocked. Bedrooms were comfortable. Decor was fun and interesting. The outside space is also lovely, albeit a bit cool during our stay. Perfect spot for our family!
