When we arrived it looked like it was not ready for guests. Many weeds and cobwebs. Floors not clean. Dishes sticky needing to be washed. Coffee maker drastically needing cleaning. No firepit as stated and a broken rundown patio swing unusable. Sadly we made the place work. The management sent up a guy to knock down the weeds. Then when we left and discussed our disappointment they were apologetic and refunded our cleaning fee and credited us back the equivalent of 1 nights stay. I was ok with that and that’s why I did not give it only one star. It is a cute cabin and is decorated nicely. Could use more ceiling fans and yes air conditioning. All’s well that ends well.

Everything was exactly as described. We had a great visit and the kiddos loved the game room!

The cabin was really cozy, clean, and had everything we needed to cook meals, warm up, and relax. Kids loved the game room in the garage. Check in process was a breeze.
The only qualm we had was a strong smell of tobacco smoke when we arrived. But after we aired the cabin out, it seemed to be ok.
Thank you for a great stay!

Great location for a weekend away with family for snowboarding and skiing. Fit 6 people comfortably.

This cabin was in a great location close to grocery store, starbucks, town, and mountain for snowboarding. The large front and backyard gives the kids plenty of space to run and play along with the game room in the garage. It not super fancy or immaculately clean, but offered a pleasant stay. The couches were comfortable, good cable and internet.. We had what we needed to make meals and memories! . We stayed 4 nights and would stay again.

Everything was amazing! However, the master bedroom bed cover was dirty. There was a candy like substance melted into the blanket. We didn’t notice until we were in bed. Other than that it was good.

the property had a lot of positives. Location, Quiet, Garage ply room. Kitchen needs to be better organized. Needs wine glasses. Over all we had a very pleasant time. We are retired math teachers that have camped together for 35 years and now just get together at Big Bear. It was a very nice location and we will probably try to stay again next year.

Snow trip feb 2021
The cabin was a great size for us. The backyard and the front yard are both spacious and there was plenty of snow for the kids to play with and no need to leave the property. The only thing we weren’t aware of was that the garage was not accessible from the inside you have to access it from a side door off of the front porch.

Cute cabin rental
I would definitely rent this cabin again. It was very cute and had everything we could possibly need. Check in/check out times were a little restrictive and different from VRBO. They did let us in a little early ultimately so that was good. There is poor cell reception but Wi-Fi works well when you have the code. We had to call to get the code, it was not in the book. We had to leave the area to get cell reception to call for the Wi-Fi code. The email communication with Destiination big bear was pretty quick. I did email to say I did not get the check in text to my cell phone and they said it was sent that morning and provided no more information. Luckily it was sent to my husband’s phone which was a number I didn’t think they had. So not a big problem just a strange answer if you really didn’t get the check in information and they claim it was sent. Overall though good service and great cabin. Just offering the details so they can be even better.
