This great rental home is located in the Heart Of Destin on Holiday Isle directly on the Destin Harbor! This Great Home is 6 Bedroom and can accommodate groups up to 16 guests. Beautiful setting for a small Wedding or Gathering! On Holiday Isle with its salt-water canals, beautiful private beaches & water sports. Walk or bike ride on the great path around the Isle. Enjoy fishing & boating right out your door or take a short walk to the sugar-white private beach which is the perfect setting for a memorable time! You are right in the heart of Destin, close to all the popular restaurants, shopping, boating, waterparks, and all that Destin has to offer, it does not get any better than this! This home is approximately 4000 square feet with a spacious wood deck overlooking the Destin Harbor! Rental includes 50-foot lateral boat dock to make harbor, gulf, or bay access simple, with electric and water. Bring your boat and out your boat in at the beginning of your stay and have at your back door whenever you want it! If you don’t have a boat you can rent one! The Harbor is great for swimming and fishing and diving. Enjoy the great diving that Destin has to offer, beautiful Destin sunsets, air shows and Fireworks from the deck Designed with families in mind...we are in a quiet residential neighborhood, where all day you see families walking to the beach or loading up to go out for a day of boating! It is fun to stay and play right in the yard on the dock. Fishing, swimming, canoeing are all right there for your enjoyment. Bicycling, walking, rollerblading along the islands 2 mile sidewalk is an everyday event. The Destin Harbor is where the charter fishing boats are docked, home of Harborwalk Village with all the popular restaurants, shopping and family fun activities. From there you can go into the gulf or the bay or anchor right by the Destin Bridge at the popular Crab Island! Around the house you will find all of the comforts of home, spacious deck, bar-be-que pit....with 2 full kitchens and 2 living rooms! There are 2 washers and dryers and all the necessities for a relaxing week in beautiful Destin! The unique floor plan of the home provides a convenient level of togetherness with the option of privacy. The main floor is centrally divided by the living room and kitchen and a Florida Room with a master bedroom with a private bath on one side and there are 3 additional bedrooms on the other side. Then on the ground level is a complete apartment with another kitchen and its own washer and dryer with its own entry. It is self contained 2 bedroom, 1 bath, living room, dining area and kitchen. In Summary you have 6 Private Bedroom Areas Total, 3 king beds, 2 queen beds, 4 queen sofa sleepers, 2 twin beds, and the option of one roll away bed. You have 3 bathrooms, plus an outside shower to rinse off the sand. You have 2 living areas, 3 eating areas, 2 full kitchens. You have a spacious deck overlooking the Destin Harbor! Watch the Harbor Fireworks from your deck on Thursday and Sunday Nights! You have convenient parking for 6 to 8 vehicles, since many areas of Destin do not allow trailer parking, we have off site parking for your boat trailers for a slight fee.

Spacious. Quite. Clean. The only thing I wish I knew is that the master bedroom was very hot & there was no ceiling fan to cool down. We weren’t allowed to touch thermostat so it made for a miserable nights sleep but otherwise, the place was amazing. Would definitely stay again but would bring fans next time.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Destin FL. The weather wasn't ideal for the trip but you can't control mother nature. The house was fine though. The email from Sally included everything so we only had to contact her once for the code to the beach access, evidentially it had been updated recently. There was garbage in the cans but we arrived on garbage day so just moved them to the street and started with 4 empty cans. The yard is sand and the kids really enjoyed being able to play in the water in the "yard" There were several storms that came through and the water was almost too rough to enjoy but at the house it was perfect. The guys really enjoyed fishing off the dock and caught an assortment of fish, they caught a stingray and a baby shark from casting way out into the water. The beds were all fine. After the kids sunburned they complained about the "hard" sheets. The downstairs is a self contained apartment, I didn't stay down there but the kids said the shower was very small. The refrigerator upstairs didn't keep food real cold, I am going to let Sally know that so she can have it looked at. The beer was really not cold enough to enjoy. We kept the stuff in the refrigerator downstairs that mattered and the beer in ice chests. Hope that is a good review. I included everything that I wanted to know when I rented it.

Overall the stay was nice and location was perfect. The dock was the main reason we rented the house as we came in by boat. Only negative thing I would say is the house had below bare minimum necessities. We travel alot and at this price point it should have a little more to offer.

This home was even better than the pictures ! The layout is great for a large family. The living area and open kitchen, dining and sunroom made for a great gathering place for our family of 16. The Roman were all good size . The spear toon of downstairs was great for this grandmother you could sleep in :) when not at the close walking distance beach we spent countless hours in the large fenced in deck watching fish jump, the fireworks, air show, and great scenery. I can’t say enough good about this home. One thing I will add is that the neighbor hood was very quiet and family friendly which is we wanted! Thank you Sally for a memorable home !

After reviewing all the great reviews on this property, maybe my expectations were too high. I have stayed in several Vrbo’s and Air B&B’s in the past and they all met or exceeded the description provided.
We had 12 family members. This house lists as sleeping 16 but there is no possible way.
One of the king size beds is so uncomfortable you roll to the middle of the bed and the fitted sheets won’t stay on the bed.
The sleeper sofas are not fit to sleep on. They are advertised as queens for sleeping 2 people, but the mattresses are 3” thick and nothing but fabric wrapped around springs. Our 9 year old slept on one and wasn’t comfortable but had no choice other than the floor. I tried to sleep on one and ended up folding it back up and sleeping on it as a sofa.
The kitchen cabinets are very unorganized and it is difficult to know what is there to cook in. The drawers in the kitchen are broken.
There are no steps inside the house leading to the downstairs, which makes it very unhandy to use the extra washer/dryer. The popcorn ceiling in the downstairs bathroom is peeling.
There was a towel holder off the wall in the master bath. The entire house had a damp musty smell, but especially the downstairs.
The walk to the private beach is short and the beach is fantastic.
There is ample parking and the back deck on the house is great!
The location of the home is great.
For the cost, this house was quite a disappointment and I wouldn’t recommend it to more than 10 people.

This is the reason for less than 5-star. Sally, our host, was amazing……so helpful. The downstairs is perfect for separating families or if you have teenagers that want their own space. The dock is perfect for whatever watercraft you may have. Proximity to Crab Island is great and water is just like the postcards. I’d certainly recommend the property just keep in mind that if you have intentions to bring a boat or other type watercraft, you’ll need to secure overnight storage for your trailer. Sally can help you with the trailer storage suggestions. Overall great place to vacation!!

Wonderful place for a summer vacation
This is a nice large house that you could stay at all day and relax if you wanted. There is sand for the kids to play in and a dock to go down to the water. We loved our time here with family. Very good experience.

Today was the saddest day as it was departure day! We enjoyed everything about the property but the sunsets each evening were amazing. Would definitely look to stay here again!

The pictures of the property are nothing like the real thing! Beautiful! We had an issue with the AC system upon arrival, no one's fault, but Sally was quick with responding and actually just showed up to get things squared away. We had a wonderful time and would definitely go back!

We came from Dallas, TX. The house was very beautiful and had enough space to fit everyone comfortably. It was a short walk to the beach. My grand children loved all the sand. It rained 2 days, but we still had a wonderful time. Thank you Sally

I am in the Air Force and plan to move to Destin in December. My family and extended family decided to take a trip to Destin for 4th of July to so everyone can see the location. And BOY!! we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The house was absolutely what we needed. the house had several rooms and beds to accompany everyone on the trip. Not to mention that it also had two floors so that the parents could stay downstairs and have peace of mind if we decided to stay up late. The living room area is so spacious that we all could enjoy join together to laugh and share stories. Once the weather started to kool down we all made our way out to the balcony to see just a beautiful view of the Destin amenities and firework displays. We also were 5 minute walk from the beach so we saw more fireworks as we left the beach. Sally was so helpful and squeezed us in on a last minute cancellation. She even stopped by to check on us. The whole time before, during, and after the trip she was very responsive. Thanks so much Sally!!!! The ONLY comment I would make is that the refrigerator and grill should be replaced soon. The fridge is older and it does not get as cold as we would like. Also the grill does not have a collector plate that is detachable so you can't easily remove all the charred food. Those were very small things though and everything still worked well. I hope this is a helpful review!!

And BOY!! we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The house was absolutely what we needed. the house had several rooms and beds to accompany everyone on the trip. Not to mention that it also had two floors so that the parents could stay downstairs and have peace of mind if we decided to stay up late. The house is a duplex and we rented both floors since we had 25 ppl Including a couple of babies. This worked out great to have that separation so the babies can take naps and not be disturbed by the noise. The place was extremely spacious with a sunroom and plenty of sleeper sofas. It backs up to the harbor which is perfect since my dad loves to fish and my mom was amazed at how many oysters and sea snails you can see from the edge of the water. The water is shallow enough for the kids to play in it as well. It's about maybe 3-5 blocks to the beach. The property manger was extremely helpful and sweet. She greeted us at the rental upon our arrival.All in all I would recommend this place. The only reason why I didn't give it a 5 star is because it is an older home with old applicances that should be changed out soon.
