Situated in Gatlinburg, this lovely chalet for $426 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. The Kids won't want to leave!!! Our kid friendly home has something to offer everyone!!EXCELLENT views which include beautiful sunrises over Mt. LaConte, the aerial tram, downtown Gatlinburg, a game room with FREE REAL arcade games that will for sure entertain adults and children for hours,located near one of the three Chalet Village community heated pools (open mid-May to mid Sept.),and 1/2 mile from the entrance to Ober Gatlinburg ski area. All of this for a great value!! PLUS, we have PARKING!! We have a parking area that can fit 4-5 cars across and everyone can get out or park a motorcycle trailer!! Our Chalet is a large A-frame design. It has three levels with a bath on each level. The first level has 2 bedrooms (1Q, 1F), a full bath and a laundry facility (washer and dryer). The main level has 2 bedrooms (2Q's), a full bath, the living/dining room,gas fireplace with sunken living room, kitchen, and decks which surround 2 sides of our home, and the hot tub. The 3rd level has a bedroom (1K ), plus a bed (1F ) on the loft, a bath. The game room is its own room off this level and has couches. Our cabin is close to all the area attractions(Dollywood, Pigeon Forge, Cherokee, National Park entrance and more). It sits on top of Ski Mountain in the Chalet Village neighborhood and our street ends with the boundary to the National Forrest which allows for an occasional visit from wildlife, i.e. 'L'il Smokey', a black bear, that likes to visit our home from time to time in search of their next meal. Even though, we are on top of the mountain, we are still only 3 miles from downtown Gatlinburg and 15 minutes to Pigeon Forge. We have WIRELESS INTERNET SERVICE, FREE LONG DISTANCE PHONE SERVICE for US & Canada, and digital cable. We have stereo systems, DVD and VHS players and a movie library for your viewing pleasure. We offer a complete kitchen and dishes with a set up for 15. Our home has something for everyone...entertainment, close to all area attractions, views, the house is located a lot away from your neighbors on all sides, and fun. The word I usually use to describe our home is that is has 'Great Flow' for a group. While the kids are up in the game room, the adults can enjoy a movie or views from the deck. Update: The Hot Tub was replaced in January 2022, and is working great. We would love for you to stay with us. Just e-mails us today. I had a terrible experience with this vacation property. The cleaning was subpar, with excessive dust everywhere. As a result, my son suffered from allergies throughout our stay. Additionally, the house itself is in poor condition, with broken drawers in the kitchen and a malfunctioning shower in the bathroom on the 3rd floor. Furthermore, the access to the property was complicated.

The cabin was perfect for our family in so many ways! Enough room for us all! The game room was non-stop entertainment! The Christmas decorations that was already there combined with what we brought as well was perfect! Steve and Sandy were a joy to work with… so thoughtful and kind! The house slept a lot of people but there were a lot of things left to be desired. Quite a few of the lights were out/not working, the fire place was inoperable, and over all the house could really use some TLC.

Views were absolutely gorgeous! The price for place was very reasonable for vacationing on a budget. Can be in downtown Gatlinburg in about 10 to 15 minutes! The house was dated and could use some updating but suits your needs. My grandkids loved the game room. You will definitely see some bears!

The cabin was nice to many bears they were in the hot tub. Couldn’t go in. They were all ways around the house. I was cooking on the grill one came up on the deck, I had to go in the house. They nocked the grill over . It should have been chained down. They were on my truck a lot and a car my truck had a $1,000 worth of damage. My tunnel cover. Scratches.And a few dents. Beautiful area but would not come back.

We chose this property because of the space it had available. It was in the perfect location, close enough to stuff yet secluded. LOTS of bear sightings. The home is a little older but very clean. The only thing that could have been better was more towels and less steep steps in the house. But other then that it was great for our wedding party.

The name is perfect!! The bears definitely drop in for a visit. Everyone we spoke with was jealous as we had daily visits from momma and her bears. The game room was a blast. The rides to and from are gorgeous. It also was a savings cooking for the family, rather than the expense of breakfast, lunch and dinner out. It was certainly enjoyable.

Other than minor issues (bear ruining hot tub liner so keeping hot tub clean and bear free was difficult) our family found this house perfectly acceptable and accurate with photos. No special bells and whistles but still a comfortable home base for us all during the week. The adults enjoyed the pool table and the kids really enjoyed the arcade games. Thanks for the hospitality!

Our family enjoyed this chalet it was a beautiful home the owner kept in touch about any problems and answered all questions right away! They are not lying about the beats we had many encounters with them, but they just go away. I was a great experience! Close to everything! We had a great time!

Eight people were in our group, this included three generations. We enjoyed our time at the cabin, but the property is dated and in need of repairs. Also, The inside stairs are very steep. The third floor shower is not usable due to the slant of the roof.

The property was great for our group. There was plenty of space for us all. The kids enjoyed the game room despite a couple of problems with the games. The parking spot was big enough to fit 3 cars easily. The hot tub was nice. We were cautious about the bears, as they came right up on the porch multiple times. I believe that probably some visitors have been feeding the bears, since they are so prevalent, yet this is of no fault of the property owners. Some reviews mentioned the house needing updates, which I would agree with, but wasn't a problem for us. The owner responded right away to my one question. Another plus is that the property is only a 3 minute drive from Ober Gatlinburg, which was excellent for our group. Overall, this was a great place, which i would stay at again.

When we arrived we were so excited. We were NOT disappointed!! This was a get together of friends for over 20 years and our oldest kids that are friends since birth. The game room was well used and enjoyed !! We cooked out on the grill !! Some of the boys used the hot tub..! We even played Hide and seek… (age ranges 22-48). We really enjoyed sitting on the porch and laughing at stupid memories.. All of us said we will rent this cabin again !!! Wonderful place,location, and atmosphere..

We enjoyed our short stay in this spacious house. It has plenty of room and two main hangout spots. Of course, we took advantage of the amazing arcade room, billiards, and hot tub. Playing NFL Blitz gave me nostalgia! The home could use some updating but that was not a big concern. Overall, a 4/5 and pretty good value/price.

The cabin was a great spot for a youth group to crash for a weekend retreat. It was a beautiful view up on the mountain. It’s a dated structure, and could use some updating. A few outlet situations seemed a little sketchy, but nothing major. The game room was great. Kids enjoyed it. Bedrooms and beds were all nice and clean. Bathrooms dated but clean and fine. Overall a great weekend!

The listing is accurate. Home is just as it appears in photos. It is an older home with some outdated design and decor, but we knew that before we booked the stay. There was plenty of room for everyone in our party, and the games kept everyone entertained while we were in the home. Some of the games didn’t seem to be working properly, but there were plenty more to choose from. Communication was friendly, and we had everything we needed to access the property easily upon our arrival.

The process was very simple to rent the property and the descriptions of the property was spot on. My recommendation is to always follow the directions that are given to you and not your GPS. Driveway is a little difficult to turn into but not impossible. We drove a 15 passenger van and it was fine. Had to back up or go turn around but it was no big deal.

Traveling with a large family with 6 kids who loved the arcade games!!! Place was great. New grill, roads could be dicey during the winter but were fine, house was nicely decorated for Christmas (which was a nice for our 6 kids- even had 2 elves there hiding). Owner was extremely responsive and was there fixing trash can bins when we arrived and was great!! If we travel to this area again we would definitely return.

We had a blast! We saw a bear just driving up to the place. Then the next morning a mama bear and her babies came onto the deck and looked at us through the window. It was so awesome! Gatlinburg is just a few miles away and of course it is so much fun. The game room was awesome! Just living up in the mountains for a week was so cool. Thank you so much!

We booked this because of the location (excellent) and the video games (solid). The house was outdated, but comfortable and the pics were accurate. We stayed for 2 days to hike Great Smokey Mountains. The house is only 10-15 minutes from the park. We had a group of 9 and the house was comfortable. Bears! We had a bear in the driveway as we unloaded the car. A bear licked the grill clean 10 minutes after we went back into the house. A bear got into our car overnight. As we were loading the car to leave, we left the car closed and unattended for 30 seconds, a bear opened the car, got into the cooler and stole the watermelon. It then went into the hot tub and circled our cars for the next 20 minutes. Kids loved it and we got some great pics. Memories to last a lifetime. Plan extra time to check out.

We had a great time! We all enjoyed the game room. We had a mama bear and 2 cubs to come to the house, they were right at the back door. We saw 10 bears total on the trip. All of the bears were within 1 mile of the house.
