My family and I loved this property. Conveniently located, nice neighborhood, very quiet. The kids specially loved the gaming room. Very well equipped and clean.
The host was amazing before and during our stay. Very patient with our questions and requests. Helped us with tips and weather advice.
We were overall very satisfied.

Very accurate description of property. Could have stayed the week without ever leaving the cabin. Plenty of space and things to do. Enjoyed walking the area with the dogs.

The cabin was perfect for our family Christmas stay. We have a large family so will definitely keep a star by this one for all future trips to Gatlinburg. The location was great. The cabin is stocked perfectly with dishes and cookware especially for larger groups!

We had 13 1/2 (one 7 months pregnant) stay and we had a wonderful time. Had the whole family together for Thanksgiving. Disappointed that the National Park was closed down and that there was a fire ban so we were unable to use the fire pit, but that was no fault of the cabin owners. The hot tub was great to enjoy in the evening instead. We would go back.

The cabin was very spacious and perfect for our large family. We never felt cramped or uncomfortable, we had everyone from ages 1 year old to 70 years old and everyone was extremely happy. We enjoyed the game room and the firepit, the hot tub was a huge hit with the younger ones. The management team was incredibly responsive and the communication was amazing. We had a slight issue when someone from our party arrived early and the manager handled with extreme professionalism and grace. I will definitely stay here again!

From check in to check out, this cabin met all of our expectations. We saw a mama bear and her three cubs. On our very last morning we were also visited by a bear. This cabin is very convenient to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We would definitely book again!!

We had 7 adults in our party. We had more than enough space! We enjoyed the outdoor space a lot. We did have several bear sightings and actually had one get into our car (thought it was locked). Would stay here again, for sure!

Family had a good time here. House exactly as described and photos accurately portray the house. The driveway is a bit steep if yiu have an elderly person in your party, but grandma did just fine. Also, there are definitely bears here. It was fun watching them safely from the 2nd floor! ❤️

This place absolutely made our vacation even better! There was bear activity every day! It was easy access to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. I'd definitely recommend!

Our family enjoyed relaxing together in privacy at the cabin, but we were minutes away from downtown Gatlinburg! Great location!!

Upstairs bathrooms needs remodeling badly and the pull out couches had mold stains on the mattresses, but the hosts were extremely fast, curious, and responsive to any issues. They're top notch and extremely professional. Would've been 5's across the board without the mold and upstairs showers. Would definitely go back.

1. As we arrive the cleaners were still working 20-30 min past our check-in time. 2. Also when we arrived There were about 15 different pieces of trash around the outside of the cabin including a dirty diaper. They took 3 days to come back to clean this up. 3. We were a blanket short and that took 3 days to get one to us in the mean time my daughter slept on a couch with towels for blanket. 4. There was a giant hornet nest the size of my head at the peak of the roof. 5. There were several cobwebs inside the house at various places. 6. There was a lot of mold in the primary bedroom shower. 7. There were so many bugs in the lowest floor which also contained one of the sofa sleeper couches that no one would sleep there. And that couch was old as dirt. 8. The odor of pet urination in the carpet upstairs was terrible.
Hopefully the owner will respond to make this right. Pretty unhappy with our experience.
But all the bears were really awesome. But we definitely didn’t let our kids go outside.

So, when we arrived we had to wait for the staff to clean the home for about an hour and half. The cabin had septic fumes from a busted pipe under the home. We lost water for two days of our stay. The house had spiders and other various forms of insects in every corner of the ceiling. The outside of cabin on both sides had a hornets nest that would attack as soon as the door opened. There was french fries and other food under the furniture. Other than that the stay was ok. So, I would not recommend this home for anyone until some things are fixed

Very nice cabin nestled in the mountains. Didnt have any issues with the cabin but would be nice for some sort of blinds for the livingroom and dinning room area since the bears come right up on the deck. The bears were to active for us to use the firepit. The only bad thing was it rained the whole time we were there. Did not like the driveway but the cabin was lovely.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the house. The house had plenty of room for our family to socialize together, a game room that the kids and adults enjoyed, and the daily viewing of a bear passing by the house.

We absolutely loved the cabin's location. It was prefect to view the all the bears and there were lots of them that came by!! I do wish there was better patio furniture I missed having rockers or a swing. This is the only cabin we have ever stayed at that did not have one or both. The chairs on the deck were nice but small and we had several people who were big guys and the chairs were to small for them. Other than the outdoor furniture it was great! even had a playpen for the babies!

Cabin was totally amazing, we had a little family get together and had eldery parents. The cabin did not disappoint. Pleanty of room for my dad to move around with his walker. The grandkids enjoyed the game room downstairs along with my mom lol. Seeing the bears every night on the porch was beyond entertaining. The drive up the mountain would be a challenge in the winter but the views are totally amazing. We would recommend this cabin to anyone and will come back. Have to add that he communication with owners throughout the stay is nice.

It was an ideal location, up in the hills and close to town. We enjoyed the time with family, smores around the fire pit...good times.

There were 13 of his total and no one ever felt uncomfortable. This cabin is definitely big enough for a large group! It's close enough to everything you can easily get to town and enjoy all it has to offer, yet far enough away and up the mountain that you are completely surrounded by Nature. Everyone enjoyed the game room especially the teenagers and young adults, honestly if it hadn't been for them I would have been perfectly content just sitting on the deck enjoying the view and sitting around the campfire and probably would have never left the cabin to go do the tourist attractions! We will definitely book this one again, only for a longer stay next time four nights was not enough!

We had a wonderful stay at Half Way To Heaven!
It was easy to get to and very convenient to town. The cabin itself was clean and there was room for everyone (12 of us!)
Shelley and Bret were wonderful to communicate with. We had a couple changes and a few things at the cabin that were damaged upon arrival and they were quick to work everything else with us.
I’d absolutely recommend staying here. Oh! And the views are gorgeous!

I made the reservation in July for a Christmas family gathering. My partner and I were bringing together our families for the first time. We came prepared with a tree, dinner to heat up and gifts. I got there promplty to set up a beautiful holiday dinner.
When I arrived, the house had not been cleaned. Ditry linens, filthy refrigerator, bathrooms a mess, dishes in the sink, etc. We had trouble entering with the code given to us, we found out shortly that this was due to the cleaning folks not showing up. When they did, an hour later, our families sat quietly in the living room. The lead cleaning gentleman was clearly angry. They did a basic job and left. By then it was too late to prepare the Christmas dinner, so we ordered pizza. From there the disappointments continued: the fireplace did not work, the water in the hot tub was grungy and smelled bad, I cleaned the refrigerator, we had to call for extra sheets and blankets for the pull out sofas. Each time we called, management did respond, and finally offered us the first night free. Had they come through, I would have been more satisfied, but they did not ever give us the money back. We called multiple times, and each answer was they'd get back to us. They never did.
This was a serious disappointment from all angles. I would absolutely recommend that you stay away from this particular property. There are too many other beautiful properties in the Gatlinburg area to choose from.

Older cabin but a great location, couldn’t be better for enjoying all that Gatlinburg has to offer. Clean, lots of bedrooms. Steep driveway, would be careful in snow.

Our stay was very nice! Property managers are very respondent. The driveway is very steep and due to the leaves on the ground and being in a 12 passenger van we parked at the end of the driveway but it worked out fine! We had lots of bear activity. Be sure to lock car doors! We had a bear get in our van as we were packing up to leave. My husband was at the back of the van loading up, and there was a bear right at the front. We proceeded inside and the bear climbed in the van, on the van, and opened the drivers side door. We were able to scare the bear away but it took one of our bags from the store up the mountain! Very pleasant stay though.

It was difficult to get down the steep driveway to the deck that lead to the front door because of wet leaves that had not been cleared away from the driveway. Much dust under and behind furniture. No way to make ice in the refrigerator freezer. No hooks or mirrors in the master bedroom. Very small master bath..

Our experience renting this property was fantastic from start to finish!!
The hosts were very communicative and detailed! Their thoroughness made the rental process so smooth and easy!
The cabin was absolutely perfect for our group! It was clean, comfortable, spacious and offered wonderful amenities! We had such a great time sharing meals together, hanging out by the fire pit, relaxing in the hot tub after a day of hiking, and several family members took great delight in beating high scores on the video games (it was a bit of a competition!! Haha) Also, the fact that I was able to bring my dog was the icing on the cake! With the wrap around deck, she was able to stay on “bear watch,” and she did, in fact, alert us to a bear! (Which everyone was so excited to see!!)
Everyone commented on how perfect the cabin was for our group and that we should book it every year going forward!
100% would stay here again and would recommend to others!

Loved that it was so close to downtown, easy access to things, alot to do! Hope to go back but try out one of their other homes, to experience a different view and area!

Great house!! LOVE the layout of the home. We only had 1 complaint and that is they need more kitchen supplies…pots/pans & serving and dinner utensils. Our family loves cooking and hanging out around the dinner table. I do have to say that any other problem we had was addressed and handled promptly. Definitely will be renting again.

We had a good time celebrating the birthday of our family members. The cabin was nice and gave us everything that we needed. We only had issues with a few items: The code to get in the cabin didn't work. We had to call in for assistance. The flashlight that was available for emergencies didn't work. One of the coffee makers had a broken handle, and the grill that we didn't use was supposed to be cleaned by renters was nasty. Overall the cabin made our family visit good.
