Located in Anchorage, this attractive standard cabin for $466 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. Girdwood is the perfect location for your summer and winter adventure base. Its close proximity to Anchorage and the Kenai Peninsula make it an ideal place for a unique and memorable experience. Relax with all the comforts of home in our beautiful and cozy log cabin. The Crystal Mountain Cabin comfortably accommodates 6 guests (or up to eight with the twin beds, for a small additional fee). This lovely cabin is a great place to get away for couples, families and friends. The large open floor plan has a great room feel downstairs with one bedroom and full bathroom. The 3/4 loft has 2 queen sized beds and is separated by a large ceiling height partition. There is a small bathroom in the loft. The living room is a great place to spend time, with the gas fireplace that is very inviting. Our modern kitchen is fully equipped with everything you would need to cook at home. The large bathroom downstairs has its own washer and dryer. Girdwood is home to world class downhill and cross country skiing! It is only a short, two minute walk to the lifts of Mt. Alyeska and a quicker ski home to your cabin. Moose Meadows is directly down the street and it is your access point to the extensive nordic ski trails.

We enjoyed the home, very relaxing and we did do a good bit of walking/hiking.. Once into town and second hike was up Northface with free ride down in the tram.. Beautiful scenery!

Our stay in Alaska was spectacular! We couldn't have asked for a better property. We had a group of 7 on our family vacation and the house fit us well. We had everything we needed and the property owners were great to work with! We'll be back again someday!

This place was amazing for our trip to Girdwood. Very comfortable for our party of 2 couples, our 8 yr old Son and a pet. Perfectly central location to on-mountain services. We visited during summer and had a blast mountain biking the mountain and local trails. As a parent I especially appreciated the lack of TV and the ample supply of games and books. Wonderful to bring the family together around the beautiful dining room table for board games or, just recline in one of the many cozy chairs with a good book. There are black bears around, so, do yourself, the neighborhood, and the wildlife a favor and don't leave trash outside.

The cabin was exactly what we were looking for: super clean, comfortable and in a great location for exploring the area. There was plenty of room, the beds were comfy, and the lofted room was a perfect set up for our two grown sons. We loved walking to the Bake Shop or AlpenGlow for coffee/breakfast each day, and to the Alyeska Resort for hikes and the tram ride for gorgeous views. Easy drives to Anchorage and Whittier. This place was perfect for my family of 5. It was clean and in the perfect location for everything we wanted to do. I am so glad we ended up in Girdwood. The weather was better than any of the coastal locations and the restaurant options were amazing. I would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking to have a Kenai vacation. The communication with the owners was quick and everything was just as it was stated on VRBO.

We had a a great stay at the cabin. We brought our triplets to celebrate their 21st birthday. One slept in the twin as she would NOT sleep with her brothers. It was comfortable and had enough seating for all in the cozy living room. Black out curtains were a def plus for early June. Cindy was helpful in recommending hikes, activities and restaurants. She was wonderful to work with for capturing some great memories.

This place is really great. A clean, cozy, rustic cabin with modern amenities that also allows pets. The house was immaculate when we arrived and had everything we needed. Plenty of clean towels, wash cloths, etc. Even separate towels for our dogs which were necessary since it was rainy and wet all 3 days we were there. The owners ask that you don't wear shoes inside, and even though it was raining this wasn't a big deal at all. There is a large front deck leading to the front door and the roof overhangs quite a bit so it stays dry. The beds were comfortable and the gas fireplace made it very cozy inside. Arguably the best part about this place though is the location. Alyeska sits right behind it. It's only a couple minutes walk to the day lodge, to several different restaurants, coffee shops, a bike rental place, and Girdwood brewery. Moose Meadow is right across the street. Even Alyeska resort is only a 10-15 minute walk. It's actually a really nice, really beautiful walk along Moose Meadow. We were with my parents who aren't in the best shape and they had no trouble at all. They loved it. We walked to the tram, had dinner at Seven Glaciers, and walked back. It was really amazing. It's difficult sometimes to find nice places that also allow pets, so we really appreciate them when we find them. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat. Thank you so much, Cindy and Doug.

Very cozy cabin. The kitchen was stocked with everything we needed. We loved the gas fireplace/stove. There are no TVs, and looking back at the description and the pictures, there aren't any shown, but we didn't miss it. Wifi is great, so we watched/listened to some comedy while doing puzzles. Great overall visit and we would definitely stay there again.

This is a wonderful place to stay! This was our second time at the cabin. It’s in a Nice, quiet location. It’s very clean and cozy! My family and I loved staying there. During the winter it’s a short walk to moose meadows for walking or Cross country skiing. Highly recommend to anyone coming to Girdwood.

This is by far the BEST cabin my family has ever stayed in for a winter snow trip and we have stayed in many! We had 4 adults and 2 kids and fit just perfectly in the cabin. It was very clean and cozy... felt like home! The beds were very comfy and we loved relaxing on the sofa with the warm gas stove just soaking in the views from the large windows. The cabin is located very close to the Alyeska Resort which is very convenient if you snowboard/ski. We were able to walk over with my young kids to snowboard with no issues. It was also a short walk to a great coffee shop, Alpenglow. The lattes were sooo good! Cindy was also very communicative and even gave us tips to see the Northern Lights from the cabin! We couldn't be happier and would definitely stay here again. Thank you Cindy for sharing your amazing cabin with us! We had the most wonderful time in Girdwood and will definitely be back!

We were thrilled with this cabin. Host was so easy to communicate with. Plenty of room for two parents and kids. Clean, full kitchen with all the items we needed for basics meal. Lots of space to spread out. Ours kids LOVED the book options. Close to downhill ski area, xc ski trails, etc. we’ll stay here again!!

The listing is accurate and the cabin is excellent. Clean, stocked, organized, and excellent communication from the hosts. Such a cozy place to stay. We went for 3 nights in January and you can stare at the lights on the mountain from the cabin, it is wonderful. We cannot wait to return!

We enjoyed a long weekend get away in Girdwood. The cabin was perfect - cozy, clean, quiet and convenient. The kitchen was well stocked and beds were comfortable. We loved the gas fireplace. We stay at a lot of VRBOs and this is one of the best. There wasn’t quite enough snow yet but we’ll be back for some skiing. This cabin would be ideal if you plan to ski at Alyeska. Thanks Cindy!
