Located in Ohio, this lovely house for $374 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Enjoy gorgeous sunsets overlooking the main bay of beautiful Lake Diane (Hillsdale Co., MI), while lounging on the spacious deck at your beautifully decorated home away from home --KC's Point of View. For you shade lovers, just extend the remote controlled awnings over the deck (provided winds are calm); sit; relax; read a book, and just chill. If you want to mix it up, there are 4 outdoor sitting areas; the deck, the stamped concrete patio under the deck or another one next to the entry doors; and the lake deck landing. There are so many places to relax! Sitting around a small bonfire is so social and KC's offers you the opportunity to do just that when the festivities of the day are done. The panoramic view from the inside wall of the lake side windows is easily enjoyed from all 3 levels of the house. Also, the large, fully equipped kitchen, luxurious sofas, large flat screen TV (Direct TV + extras), 4 bedrooms plus a loft, 3 full baths, and a game room, allows your family to comfortably enjoy your time at pet friendly KC's. With 3 queen bedrooms (the Buford Room [master], the Princess Room, and the Gypsy Room); 2 twin beds in the Loon Room, and a full bed, futon, and a day bed (2 twins) in The Loft, you have your choice of where to rest your head. On top of all of that, there is a queen pull out sofa bed in the living room. So, all in all, KC's sleeping arrangements are very manageable and comfortable for a party of 12 or less. (linens included) After dinner why not take in a game of pool, while watching TV (3 TV's--living room, game room, and the Buford Room -largest BR) or listening to your favorite tunes (CD player in Game Room) Your boat or watercraft is welcome at either KC's 40' x 4' or 40' x 3' aluminum docks (no watercraft or boat is provided) & the shallow shoreline is inviting to play, swim, or go fishing right off the dock. If you like swimming, fishing, skiing, wake boarding, boating, jet skiing, kayaking, sailing, or just floating--you have chosen the right place, as Lake Diane's 400 acre all sports lake, with public access, allows you all of that plus more. (Kayaks included) The main public access is situated directly and conveniently across the lake from KC's. What about you NASCAR fans? KC's is a wonderful place to choose when attending the famous NASCAR races at the MI Int'l Speedway in Brooklyn, MI. It's just about a short hour away. Stay here and enjoy both worlds in one stop! *Apology - We were in such a rush to leave Sat morning for a 3 hour trip to arrive home in time for the Michigan / Ohio State kickoff; we forgot to put the beds back in the main floor room our Son & Daughter-in-Law stayed in. *Did not use the Fire Pit or Grills - Too Cold! *Well-stocked kitchen for a Thanksgiving Feast! *Favorite Family Activity - Pool Tournaments all Week! *We would definitely want to return to this location in the future! *Thanks so much again! *Note: Review originally submitted on 11/26/23.

We had an enjoyable stay in a beautiful home. Very comfortable and clean. The weather was cold and windy, but such a beautiful view across the lake for fall foliage. The drive is a little steep for us middle aged ladies to unload the cars. However, no complaints. Hostess, Katrina, was available for any issues and very helpful from beginning to end of rental process. Great stay.

Our second stay at KC’s. Pretty much the same from 2020 to now. Home was clean overall with minor repairs needed which owner handled promptly. Bedding is adequate. Kitchen has plenty of utensils and cookware, but had to clean most pans & pots from previous guests. We love the peace & quiet on the lake, and sunset views are gorgeous.

We spent the week with our family coming and going, totaling 9 people at one point. We had never seen Lake Diane or Katrina's property, and were thrilled with both. The house is spacious, clean, well stocked with kitchen/household items as well as water toys (including two kayaks). We biked, kayaked, chatted on the deck, watched the sunset over the lake every night and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Neighbors in the area were very friendly, eager to point out fun places to kayak, describing where to pick good strawberries and even offering fresh eggs if we needed any.

What's not to like?: 24 min. from Hillsdale College, four bedrooms and loft- sleeps 10, deck overlooking Lake Diane, fire pit, gas and charcoal grills, rec room with pool table, A/C, 3 baths, etc. Views of lake are great! Owner is top-notch and always available by text or cell. Top notch!

This place is so relaxing and a calm getaway for your vacation! We rented the house for a bachelorette party and we couldn’t have asked for a better spot! It was remote, with a beautiful of the lake, the weather was gorgeous, and the house had the perfect layout with enough space for all nine of us. The rules/check-in/check-out were all super easy and Katrina made all of it a breeze! Thank you again!

We had a great time! We arrived just ahead of a winter storm, and Katrina was very accommodating to our needs and always very responsive. The house had everything we needed to enjoy a multi-family Christmas with kids from 12 to 20. The college boys and dad absolutely loved the pool table. The girls enjoyed cooking, playing games, and working puzzles. When we finally braved the cold we enjoyed fooling around in the snow and sliding on the iced lake. The day before we left we made the 2.5 hour drive to Frankenmuth to enjoy the Bavarian style town and Bronners Christmas store. Another excellent vacation location!

This was such a great property for our Thanksgiving get away All the photos in the listing are true. The home is perfect for family gatherings and flows really well. We loved that the house was equipped with everything. The kids where busy with out electronics all four days. Between the pool table, beautiful fishing area, kayaks, and the fire. Which the wood was provided. Super loved that. We brought 2 jet skis and had easy access to putting them in the water. The house even had a tub that we pulled the kids behind the seadoos in. They have a dollar floating around for the kids to find and rehide. (I accidently found it) lol. It is in the middle.of no where and you don't have good service. Which we really enjoyed that even more. (The home does have wifi). I definitely recommend this home for a nice relaxing get away.

We had a great time with our adult children and grandsons! Weather was perfect, communication with owner was great and we had so much fun! Would highly recommend this property! We made a few day trips while the guys went golfing. It was nice to have evenings fishing and a fire! Great star gazing too!

This was our second summer renting this home on Lake Diane, and our family of 11 had a wonderful time! Home is well stocked, clean, and great for a group. Our kids/teens especially enjoyed the pool table, back lawn for yard games and lake for swimming! Owner was great to work with and prompt with communication. Can’t wait to come back!

We rented this property for a month and could not have been more pleased. The lake view is spectacular, the house was spacious and well equipped for our group. Katrina was a great host, very responsive and very easy to work with. The house even had a full power generator run from the propane tank so we never even realized the power went out from the strong storm that blew through one day. Highly recommend!

Property was exactly as listed. Communication with the host was prompt and polite. We only stayed a few days for a wedding but would love to return in the summer to fully enjoy all that the home has to offer.
