This remodeled upstairs studio is walking distance to everything downtown and in the South Congress (SoCo) district. Experience Austin by staying in this wonderful old neighborhood, which is close to live music, food, culture, history and recreation. The light filled 2-bedroom studio is upstairs in my home. With off-street parking and a private exterior entrance it is the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring Austin. Gaze out to the two majestic 200-year old oak trees or enjoy yourself by sitting out in the shady backyard patio. A stroll 3 blocks west takes you to lively South Congress Avenue filled with fantastic restaurants, cafes, boutiques, and music venues. The house has a beautiful shaded pool for a dip or lounging but if you are a swimmer Big Stacy Park and pool is a short walk away with its year round pool which is fed by natural hot springs in the winter months. The park also has over 3 acres of walking trails. Additional swimming and recreation is but a short drive away at Zilker Park and Barton Springs Pool. If you are a runner or walker Lady Bird Lake trail is just a couple of blocks away for a jog or walk, and is home to Austin's famous Congress Avenue bat colony. The entertaining Second, Warehouse, and Sixth Street districts downtown are a 3-minute bus/cab ride or a 15 minute walk. Also close by are Auditorium Shores, the Convention Center, Whole Foods Market, the Long Performing Arts Center, the Capitol and much more. The studio has two private bedrooms, one with a queen sized bed and the other with a full size. It does not have a kitchen although a small refrigerator, coffee/tea maker, toaster and microwave are provided for convenience or take the beautiful five minute walk up to Jo’s Coffee shop or the numerous South Congress restaurants for wonderful breakfast, lunch or dinner. PLEASE NOTE THAT THE POOL IS ONLY FOR GUESTS STAYING IN THE STUDIO. Austin Bergstrom Intl. airport is only 20 minutes away ($30 cab ride). Owners are available to provide guests with suggestions on restaurant options, live music venues and much more! Great place to stay for Music Festivals, right in the heart of it! ACL.... We had a great stay and the property was perfect for our long weekend in Austin. It's in a quiet neighborhood, yet a short walk to South Congress and a quick drive to many popular sights in Austin. The pool and air conditioning helped negate the Austin heat and the small kitchenette was sufficient for our morning coffee and keeping some water and wine in the fridge.

Everything about this rental was great! Beautifully decorated home, clean, comfortable and close to everything on South Congress. Laura was super helpful and our stay was a success in every way!

Perfect accommodations for 2 couples. The only down side is that one bed is a full, but that worked fine for our group. Beautiful outdoor space. Easy walk to South Congress St. Beautiful windows overlooking the backyard. Our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely stay here again.

Had the best weekend in Austin, and Laura’s place was perfect. Walking distance to South Congress, and a pedicab away from ACL fest. Perfect for a girls getaway with separate bedrooms and a nice living room with beautiful windows to watch the rain or just enjoy the scenery. Communication excellent, just had a blast!!

The location is close enough that we could walk to the SoCo area and could scooter to/from downtown. The apartment was spacious for the 4 of us (adults).
I would rent here again.

This was perfect for our group! The location is great and the property is so quaint and eclectic. Pool and backyard get a ton of shade too which is wonderful for ATX summers 🥵

What a wonderful place!
We loved our stay. The pics on the listing don't do justice to how beautiful the property is and how wonderful of an oasis the pool in the backyard is. We will definitely go back in the future.

My husband and I took a trip to Austin for the first time and we had so much fun! My brother and his wife came too and this place was amazing. It was clean & spacious, and a great location. We walked or rode scooters everywhere! The neighborhood was cute, the backyard was beautiful, and the studio had everything we needed and more. The hosts were easy to contact and were so nice. We would 100% recommend this place to anyone!

The cutest studio!
My husband and I took a trip to Austin for the first time and we had so much fun! My brother and his wife came too and this place was amazing. It was clean & spacious, and a great location. We walked or rode scooters everywhere! The neighborhood was cute, the backyard was beautiful, and the studio had everything we needed and more. The hosts were easy to contact and were so nice. We would 100% recommend this place to anyone!

Laura was a gracious host and the accommodations are lovely. She even thinks of makeup remover towels. She let us stay a bit late as we had a later flight. Highly recommended.

Great spot!
I enjoyed my stay. The owner went the extra mile and let me use some of her tape for my carryon bag that the zipper broke. Next time I am in Austin I will stay here again for sure!

Secluded 2 bedroom studio
Awesome studio- private and peaceful. The yard and pool were an oasis. Laura was so pleasant and helpful. We enjoyed watching the parrots at the feeder! Loved our stay!

We had a great time at this property! My husband, 1-year-old and I met our friend visiting from out of town and stayed for two nights. It's so hard to find a great place with multiple true bedrooms, but that's what we needed when we had a 1 year old who needed naps and early sleep! This place exceeded everything we needed, and the baby monitor reached all the way to the pool so it was the absolute best way for us to spend nap time!
Walking to South Congress was a breeze, even with a stroller and baby. There are a lot of stairs to get up to the apartment, but we just left our stroller in the backyard during our stay rather than carry it up and down the stairs.
My husband and friend both met the host and said she was extremely friendly! Unfortunately, my daughter and I didn't get a chance to meet her, but we had an awesome stay!

Our group stayed at Laura's property for 2 nights and 3 days. Laura was a great host and easy to get in touch with. Location of the property is very central within walking distance from everything. Definitely recommend booking this property
