This property had everything I needed for a two week stay after the birth of my first grandbaby. I was able to continue to work remotely, do my laundry, and cook my meals. I was also able to get Amazon deliveries. The neighborhood is very cool and I'm sure would be even cooler without the pandemic. Chad responded very quickly to a problem I had. The house is very typical of a South Philly home, narrow, with steep stairs. I loved the recliners built into the couch. Parking is hit and miss and in normal times, I would not have a car in Philly. Parking at the school is a plus. There are good restaurants within walking distance. I will definitely try to stay here on future trips to Philadelphia.

Stocked Fridge, Great Location
First of all, Chad is incredibly responsive to bookings and emails. He had coffee, milk, juice and bagels waiting in the fridge. The location is convenient to everything I needed. I really enjoyed my stay and look forward to coming back!

This is our second time staying at this place. Both times we have stayed the house was clean, comfortable, and well stocked. We had a great stay at the residence for the second time, and everything worked out perfectly. Parking can be pretty rough, but being able to park across the street on the weekends and at night until you can find a good parking spot is a huge plus.Aside from the actual stay, Chad is great. I accidentally left my wallet when visiting from out of town, and he found it and shipped it to me promptly. His willingness to help was great and I am very glad to have avoided having to deal with a lost wallet. He even sent me the receipt from USPS so I could track it and didn't charge me anything to ship it back to me.A++, would most certainly stay here again. Thanks for everything Chad!

Great house in a great locaiton
We were in town for the Thanksgiving Holiday - had a very pleasant stay. The house was as expected, clean, well stocked and easy to find. The location is pretty awesome, plenty of shops, restaurants and bars withing a few minutes walk. This is not the most luxurious, but it served the purpose, and was as described on the site. We were not disappointed in any aspect of our stay.

Great location and hospitality
We stayed at this south philly brownstone for four nights with my mother in law and two small boys and it was perfect for our family. Beds were comfortable and the location was superb. Walking distance to most everything and lots of Grubhub options for delivery when we got in around midnight!

Great South Philly Spot!
Came up for an abbreviated spring break tour of the town, and this was a terrific location! We could walk to Pat's & Geno's as well as the Italian Market. All the historic sites were a quick Uber away. Passyunk is a cool, hipster spot with lots of fun restaurants and shops, all within walking distance.
Chad was a gracious host, leaving lots of waters, coffee, soap and other amenities for our stay. Quick communication -- very responsive.
The only con was the living room couch which is a bit worn out, but if you're out on the town, you won't be worried about a couch!
Thanks for a wonderful trip, Chad!

Good location with just okay amenities
This house was in a great location. Nice cafe a couple of blocks away and restaurants within walking distance. The online photo made the house look nicer than it was. There is loads of space in the downstairs, however the large couch was in bad shape - broken springs. The kitchen has all the necessary appliances, but does not have many glasses or dishes, etc.
The bedrooms were of adequate size, but two of the beds were only mattresses on the floor.
Bedding was fine and the bathroom was good. The second bathroom was in the cellar which was unfinished. The house was clean. Generally, a good place for a gang of male college friends, but not suitable for the more 'discerning' traveler.

All the comforts of home!
Chad is very quick to respond to questions. It was nice to have a few essentials like water milk & coffee there to use.
I will definitely come back again when traveling to Philly.
Parking is very challenging but not impossible.

Not like the photos!
We have stayed in over 20 VRBO's and I have to say that this was probably one of my least favorites. For one thing, the house felt totally 'lived in' and was not as clean, organized and inviting as the photos suggested. We received mail for Chad every day and just added it to the growing pile that was already there on the fireplace mantel. Who gets personal mail at a VRBO? We only used the master bedroom but the bed was not very comfortable and the bedding was not nice at all; thin sheets and no mattress pad. We were asked not to open the kitchen blinds due to the neighbors privacy, and I like sunlight in the house. I do agree that Chad went above and beyond in providing amenities for the house, which we did appreciate, but I would suggest clearing out the overflow of magazines and the pile of mail in the living area. I felt like I was intruding in someone else's home.

We've stayed in over 20 VRBO's and I'd have to say that this was one of my least favorite for a few reasons. First of all, the place felt totally 'lived in' and it was not neat, clean and as inviting as the photos suggested. Every day we received Chad's personal mail to add to the growing pile that was already on the fireplace mantle. Why are you receiving personal mail at a VRBO? We only used the master bedroom and the bed was not comfortable, the bedding was not nice at all, a thin sheet and no mattress pad! We were asked not to open the blinds in the kitchen because of concern for the neighbor's privacy and I love to have sunlight in the house. Yes, Chad did a great job at providing many amenities and we appreciated that but please clear the house of the overflow of magazines and all your mail piling up in the living room.

Great family vacation!!!!!!
The location was excellent. Walking distance to town. Beautiful neighborhood. The host was so thoughtful in providing food, laundry detergent, soap and shampoos. House was clean and looked just like the photos. Only downfall was pull out coach in master was broken. Thank you.

Excellent location.
Perfect location for visiting Philadelphia and great local location with good bars and restaurants. Kitchen and fridge at house was very stocked. Thankyou for waters and sodas. Communication was good with Chad. I do have a couple of small criticisms regarding the upstairs . The quality of the beds in the middle room and front room were poor all the bed linens were very poor. I have never stayed at any property where the bed linens were not quality white linens. It felt like a student house which had been vacated for the week.
