We had a nice stay overall. There were a few supplies missing when we arrived, but a property manager brought them right away. The place is as described, and the hot tub was really nice and easy to figure out. The kitchen had all the pots, pans, plates, etc. but nothing plastic/items for kids. That was fine as my kid is good at being careful. Others may want to bring more kid-friendly plates, cups, silverware, etc. The down side: the place needs some new things and repairs. Mainly, the master bed was very uncomfortable: the frame was uneven/looked unstable, the mattress really worn out/big dips. My husband & I even switched to the other bedroom because it was so uncomfortable. The same goes for the bunk bed room mattresses. Other things that need repairs or replacing: a lot lamps/lights didn’t work or were unstable/too dim, most blinds didn’t open/close or have the parts to do so, garage door let in a lot of cold air that make the heat turn on frequently (so the bedrooms were too warm but living room was cold), the driveway was plowed once before we arrived, but not well and not again during our 5-day stay (it snowed a few times), the front deck/entrance was slick from snowmelt. I think this place could be the perfect cozy cabin if it was updated/maintained better. If the beds were more comfortable, I’d stay here again.

Awesome 3 big bedrooms. Huge open family room I mean huge. Good parking including the garage. Only minor downside is it pretty high up in moonridge ( many hills and turns). Meaning during winter months during or after a snow storms it may be very difficult to travel too unless have 4x4. Overall a 5 star property!! Forgot about big hot tub on back deck kids loved it!!

Nice quiet neighborhood, close to hiking trails. Beautiful back deck with nice hot tub. Some attention to detail would have improved rating. Clean window tracts, fix back screen door, provided hand towels and paper towels, sweep decks and garage. We also had to pack out all our trash.

Over all a great place. Can use a little love and needs to be sprayed for Carpenter ants as they appear to be throughout the house due to some compromised window screens (but is the woods and they are definitely part of the woods)

Property was nice, basic cabin needs were met it just wasn’t as clean as a rental property should be. Crumbs in all the cabinets and drawers and oily dishes put away. The bedding was stained in one of the bunks. Hot tub works and overall was a good stay.

I'd like to start out by saying the owner was receptive when I texted him letting him know things were less than clean. He took responsibility right away and sent the cleaning lady back. I walked with her around the house pointing out a few things out and within 10 minutes we heard " its not my job" a dozen times. The bath mats had dirty foot prints, i threw those in wash but there was no soap. She wiped down the muddied glass from a large dog on the back door and left. I alerted the owner of the hot tub smelling , the several guests worth of garbage improperly disposed of in the garage and side yard. Back yard had lots of dog poop. Soda cans on back deck. Over the course of the next day we discovered microwave would turn on but did not heat anything. They already knew that but left it there anyway. 1 coffee maker of 2 on counter did not work. 1 chair at dining table was broken, another chair, the fan, the light, the TV in MB didn't work. Kitchen utensil drawer was badly broken and not on tracks. Unnecessary hard water rings about a month old in toilets and master bath tub. Hot tub gave the 'itchies' to my granddaughters first night. we made them wait several hours while it cycled the strong chemicals thru. When we arrived it was set at 80°. This is not the temperature one sets to use a hot tub so I don't think hot tub guy had been there after last guests. I could not get a proper reading on the dip sticks the entire time we were there so we did not use it again. The owner said he sent the hot tub guy back but we didn't see him and nothing changed (water was still not completely clear and the chemical odor was present with an underlying funky smell). The garbage stayed thru out our visit. We found a soda and kids bathing suit in top bunk bed. Blinds were broken in master bedroom. Deep cleaning needed, under beds there was 'stuff', under couch and TV months worth of dust and stuff. One of the most obvious cleaning musts was switchplates covered in dirty fingerprints and months worth of scum and dust in 2nd bathroom around tub glass. The refrigerator was set to 5 which froze our food. The ping pong table was split in half. Apparently if I just "shimmed one leg and propped it with a wheel, it would have been useable" according to owner that's what he did when he arrived the day we left to check out our story and meet with his happy staff. Silly me, had I known better I would have brought my tools with me and could have fixed his stuff

Communication with the property manager was quick and easy. We had six adults and there was lots of room to hangout. We all slept well and had a great time. We cooked meals in the kitchen. Kitchen was mostly stocked, but if you want something specific I’d recommend bringing it. Our dogs loved the gated backyard. Jacuzzi was a perfect 104 degrees during our stay. I highly recommend choosing this house for your next Big Bear vacation. We skied/boarded one day and this home was close to the slopes.
