Should you need additional space for wedding guests or a family reunion, Petite Maison may be rented together with Grand Maison. BED CONFIGURATION: The smart floor plan of this cottage allows for two king bedrooms with ensuite baths on the first floor. Each bedroom has night tables, TVs, natural light and ceiling fans. OUTDOOR AMENITIES: The second floor of this home opens onto a comfortably furnished covered veranda where you can enjoy coffee or cocktails. The home is close to Fort Zachary Taylor Beach and there is a free community pool just a short walk away. PARKING: There is parking for one car however, from this convenient location, you may find yourself touring Key West on foot. LOCATION: Petite Maison is located on a quiet, hidden lane behind Duval Street. The home is on the southern end of Duval Street near cafes and night clubs. You can walk to many attractions including the Southernmost Point and the Key West Butterfly and Nature Conservatory. PETS: One (1) dog allowed, up to 25 lbs, for an additional fee and completion of Pet Information addendum. Must be 1 year of age or older. Must be spayed/neutered. This is a nice place though very compact. The bedrooms are large and the balcony is great. The living area is small but nice but the kitchen is tough as it is very small. We stayed for 11 nights so we used the kitchen a lot. If you are only staying a few nights it is the perfect place

We have been there as a familiy if 4 adults and enjoyed our stay very much. Key west is beautiful and the house is perfectly located to get to nice beaches, Duval street, Sounternpoint and hemmingway house. The kitchen is a little small and we missed a pot for cooking but this is solved by the rental office in the meantime.

Very convenient to Duvall Street, the Southern Most Point, the butterfly museum, Hemingway House and the Key West Lighthouse. The house was exceptionally clean and was well stocked with everything we needed to enjoy our stay. Our family also rented Grand Maison so we had the whole property. It was great for the 10 of us. Parking around Key West is tough, so don’t waste time getting a rental car, just Uber. They are readily available and the cost is usually $10 or less.

We escaped the cold and snow for some island time and the Petit Maison was the perfect home base! The lovely home was sized just right for three adults- and immaculately clean. The kitchen was just big enough to make drinks or snacks and the patio was a favorite hangout. Would recommend or stay again! The customer service was also great- answering questions via text and stepping in when the internet went out.

Cute 2 story, 2 bed, 2 bath cottage. Ideal for 2 adult couples. Plenty of space and well appointed for our needs. Off street parking, awesome working A/C and newer appliances made us feel at home. Cindy @ HKWVR was amazing with superhelpul tips and close attention to our comfort and relaxation. The golf cart rental made the difference for us. You can get just about anywhere on island in mere minutes.

Though the square footage of the unit is very small, Petite Maison was comfortable, just off Duval and had all the amenities needed for a nice stay. The ensuite bedrooms have king beds and are both downstairs on the entry level while the kitchen, living area and balcony are on the second level. Bedrooms have blackout curtains and ceiling fans and the air conditioning works very well. The staff at HKWVR was very responsive and helpful each time we reached out. We enjoyed our time in Key West and would definitely recommend HKWVR and Petite Masion to anyone.

We enjoyed our stay at Petite Maison very much. Carol and the other ladies at Key West Vac rentals were super nice. They texted prior to our arrival as well as once we checked in to make sure everything was ok. The house itself was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The location is a block and a half away from the southernmost buoy but we still walked wherever or rode the bus that does the Duval Loop. Would definitely recommend Key West Vacation Rentals as well as staying at the Petite Maison.

Petite Maison is a very appropriate name for this cute little home close to downtown, beaches and all. It's a convenient location.The thing for all to keep in mind is that this is a small house. We gave the "primary" bedroom to guests visiting with us and our bedroom, while it had a nice comfortable king bed had little else. No chest, dresser or closet. There was a clothes rack attached to the wall but really no room to unpack our clothing other than night tables on either side of the bed.It is very clean and has a lovely little porch off the upper floor where the kitchen and living room is located but the view is of a small alley street.The home was neat and clean. The kitchen table was good to keep some things on but too small for 4 guests to eat on, not that that's a big deal as when in KW one tends to eat out at the wide variety of restaurants. All said, I would recommend this property to somebody who understands what they're getting and what they're not getting.

Beach Getaway
The home was beautiful and in great condition! It was very clean and comfortable. The overall vibe and decor was so nice and beachy, made a perfect impression for the Keys! And the large second floor porch was perfect for morning coffee! We had a group of 4 (2 couples) and we would definitely come back and stay here again. The location was also stellar, just off Duval street (50 ft) which was super convenient for all restaurants, shops and bars.

What a great location, 1/2 block off of Duval and close to everything but quiet at the same time. The pool was amazing to cool off from the heat and humidity. The air conditioning worked great, the place was spotlessly clean. We couldn’t have found a better place than this and we will return here for future visits.

We loved this little house; it was just adorable. It was very clean and the furnishings were nice. We enjoyed sitting on the porch every evening. The management company was very nice and easy to work with, and we had a wonderful time during our stay. Two things you should be aware of when renting: first, neither taxis nor pizza delivery people can find the place, even if you give them complete directions. There is another Thompson Lane in Key West, and most navigation systems will lead them there. We ended up having to meet all taxis and delivery people on Duval Street after they gave up looking for us. The nice neighbor who lives across the street told us she always had the same problem. Second, we planned to cook most of our dinners while we were there. The kitchen is really lacking in supplies. There are nice pots and pans and a at least one casserole dish, but it would be nice to have at least one serving bowl, more utensils, a set of knives, some cooking trays, etc. The table in the kitchen is ok for two, but since there were four of us, we had to move it out to the living area and drew up extra chairs. It was a little tight, but we made it work. Of course, if you're planning on eating out most meals, this will not affect you. Overall, this was a great little place for a getaway, and we have fond memories of our trip.

12 Thompson Lane was the perfect retreat from New York City. The place was designed with a creative eye and representative of Key West's chic beach aesthetic. Checking in was a breeze and it was clear from day 1 that Historic Key West Vacation Rentals was available for anything my friends and I may have needed during our stay. Close to Zach Taylor beach, close to Hemingway House, spitting distance from Southernmost Point. Some may feel that the location is a bit removed from the wild nightlife of Duval St. and Mallory Square, but I found that to be a blessing. It did take a few minutes to walk to the action but it felt great to get away from it once the night was done. I would recommend this place and stay with this company again in a heartbeat.

The cottage is brand new and settled with a lot of taste. It was absolutely spotless when we got in, even after rushing the cleaning team because we arrived earlier. To be noticed AC and fans work in an excellent combination, more than needed. Perfect location : almost on Duval st (actually 1 house far from Duval) and not in the noisiest part of it : north end of Duval is at 20 mm walk and 5 mm from the southernmost point. Warm welcome at the rental office : Philip, the concierge, is very available and helpful. Everything went smooth and nicely. Definitely a way better experience than some pricy hotel rooms. The best you can find for the price.

WE had a wonderful time. Upon arrival to Historic Key West Vacation Rentals we were greeted at the door, helped with our luggage, given bottles of water and allowed to change and store luggage as we arrived early before check in. We rented Petite Maison and it was perfect. Clean, quick access to everything we wanted and far enough away from any nightly noises from Duval which is what we wanted. Great customer service, communication throughout the experience. I would highly recommend going through HKWVR and if you want a two bedroom place to stay , consider Petite Maison. The upstairs porch was where we spent the most time.

Perfect for our family's first big post-pandemic vacation
Because of the pandemic, we haven't traveled as a family beyond short road trips in recent years, so when it came time to look at lodging options in Key West, we did a broad search, looking at several types of options. We ultimately decided that being close to Old Town was a priority, and that the feel of having a place to ourselves (with a kitchen) instead of a claustrophobic hotel room would be worth the investment. Totally the right call. We kept some basic groceries at the house; stored and ate leftovers when we didn't want to go out; had room to spread out and play games and watch a little TV; and my husband and I in particular LOVED the porch. An ideal place to have a coffee and read or do a crossword. The two hiccups that arose during our stay - WiFi and air conditioning trouble - were resolved quickly once we reached out to management. La Petite Maison was one of the best decisions we made for our trip.
