Overall the location was great! The cabin is close to trails and Logan, OH. We enjoyed the fireplace and cooking in the kitchen and the views of the snow from the windows!

What a wonderful location to spend our Thanksgiving holiday! This home was everything it was advertised to be. We were a family of eight, aged 10 to grandparents, and everyone had a great time! We all loved the ambiance of the rustic logs and crackling fire while still having the advantage of modern amenities. I would highly recommend this property!

We used the cabin for a weekend retreat for our team. We are a health and fitness group so the setting and location were perfect! Beautiful cabin, clean, fully stocked with amenities. Highly recommend.

When we first pulled up we wondered what this was going to be like because we were greeted by a lot of overgrown weeds around the property making it look unkept. The inside was beautiful though. We have pretty high standards so it wasn't as clean as we would like but nothing bad at all. The cabin was absolutely beautiful and cozy. We had issues trying to figure out the cable and the host responded promptly when we called her. In fact, she was more prompt than I was.
I enjoyed sitting outside on the deck. The area around the cabin is beautiful and very peaceful. I watched a deer walk by one morning as I sat outside doing my morning prayers and exercises.
The fire ring and hot tub were nice as well. I didn't get inside the hot tub because of an injury so I can't comment much on that, but the others seemed to enjoy it.
When we did our cooking, I think the others said the place had lots of items for use. Very well stocked. I'm assuming it had most everything. Again, I wasn't able to help much in the kitchen but I never heard anyone say they wish they had a certain item (except more towels and potholders). Oh yeah, the refrigerator is HUGE so it holds lots of food for the group.
I would definitely recommend this place. I was only on the main level because of not doing stairs well, but it was definitely a beautiful place. You won't be disappointed.

It was just what we were hoping for! Plenty of space that we four adults had our own privacy but comfortable shared space as well. Well stocked, comfortable beds, relaxing hot tub. Wooded setting was perfect.

Four friends get together once a year to catch up.
Being seniors we always look for a cabin that has 3-4 bedrooms and at least 2 bathrooms. The pictures and the description of the property were true. We found a few things difficult for us. The dishes and glasses were in a cupboard over a counter and 2 of us were too short to reach them. The railing going to the basement only went 3/4 the way down. And they definitely need more lighting in the basement. Even though they said no beach towels or dryer that would definitely have been a plus. All and all, we did enjoy our stay.

This property is exactly what me and my family were looking for during the July 4th holiday weekend. Courtney was a superb host and gave all neccesary information as needed. The property itself is amazing all around – it is secluded enough where you feel peace and tranquility but while also being a 15 minute drive from Hocking Hills State Park. I would definitely recommend a stay here without a doubt to experience the best of what Ohio has to offer.

What a beautiful cabin and property! Everything was so comfortable - great for a relaxing weekend! The location was also very convenient to the surrounding parks and restaurants. Definitely a place we would look to stay at again! Thank you!

White Tail Pines was an excellent cabin choice. It was big (4 bedrooms, 2.5 baths) clean, nicely stocked with the essential basics, included a washer & dryer (that was not listed.) Very quiet and tucked back in a mature maple tree grove at the end of the quiet road. Best of all Courtney was always available by text to answer any of our questions. My wife and I hope to be back in 5 years for our 55th wedding anniversary.

The cabin we rented “White Tail Pines” was perfect. It was clean, peaceful, and beautiful. The property was wooded and we saw many deer. The cabin sits in a private area and there were many days and nights of utter tranquility.

We had a beautiful weekend together. The cabin was in excellent shape and more than fit all 7 family members. The State Park trails were all within a 20 minute drive or less. We will definitely be doing this again! Everything was perfect.

Beautiful wooded private property setting.
Great for family renters. Not so much for couples. Only two bedrooms are behind closed doors and one bathroom does not have a shower.
Helpful hints: need more kitchen towels, need a scouring pad for dishes, better quality pots and pans, need ice trays since no ice maker, the downstairs bedroom bedspread could be replaced. If you enjoy wildlife there is plenty of turkey and deer to be seen. Nice to sit around the campfire watching the night stars is a great way to end the day.

It was our first time visiting the Hocking Hills area. The cabin was in a great location and we didn’t have to drive far to see some of the well known trails in the area. The property of the cabin was perfect for our family. Lots of space for the kids to run around outside and hike around in the wooded area. The cabin inside was very clean and had lots of space for everyone to enjoy. The only comment would be to add an area/cabinet for food storage. We will definitely return to this cabin the next time we visit!

This was a weekend getaway with friends for some downtime. Cabin was just as listed. It was clean and cozy and well equipped. Beautiful location in the woods. Loved sitting outside on the porch rockers. Saw lots of deer.
The beds and linens were comfy and cozy. All of us enjoyed the cabin and had a great time. Would definitely go back.

Property was great - clean and secluded, but my main complaint is that the hot tub was cold the entire weekend (would never exceed 89 degrees). This was disappointing as it was the main attraction to the property. While the host was quick with her responses, she did imply that my group had adjusted the settings (at this point we had not touched anything). She finally stated on Saturday that she would send a maintenance person to take a look. We never saw a maintenance person (not a big deal because they may have come while we were hiking), however there was never a follow up response with a solution and the problem was never resolved. So bummed I did not get to use it at all that weekend!

My friends and I had the best weekend staying at the Whitetail Pines Cabin! Such a beautiful property and home! Very clean, spacious, and well stocked. Great communication with property manager. Would absolutely stay here again and would recommend this property to others!

We did have difficulty locking the door when leaving
There was no instructions on how to start the fireplace
No instructions on how to run the jacuzzi in the bathroom, never did get to use it
Couldn’t get the house warm until the furnace guy came the 2nd day
The burners in the grill were shot
The hot tub wasn’t hot
And there was a mouse in the bread drawer that ate the bread.
The place was okay but I would probably not rent this cabin again.

Wonderful space in a cozy cabin. Perfect for a few days in Hocking Hills. Not far from any of the main hike locations. Fantastic fire pit area off the walkout lower level. Love the all wood decor.
Boat was very responsive and accommodating.

We stayed for a weekend with a group for a girls weekend. What an amazing time we had! The cabin was exactly as posted. The communication with Courtney was superior. We had the best time hiking, cooking, laughing, and just being together. We would definitely recommend this cabin. And would love to come back again ourselves!
