Exceptional breakfast selection and attentive service. Several choices of restaurants within the hotel property for lunch/dinner. Food was excellent.
We didn’t care for the truly limited bar menu at the Straffan Inn in the center of town which is part of the K Club. We also didn’t eat at the Barton restaurant on site because the menu was mostly fish/seafood and my husband doesn’t care for that type of food. It honestly would have been fine for me.

staff extremely friendly especially Patrick at the front door.

The building and the grounds are beautiful. The rooms are nicely decorated, very clean and have everything from shampoo and conditioner to bathrobes and bath salt.
There is no path to walk between the main gate and the hotel building. If you want to walk you can either walk on the side of the road or on the golf course's grass.

the quality of the surroundings staff where exceptional couldn’t do enough for us from the moment we walked through the door the concierge was at hand to take our luggage. Thius on reception was very efficient checking us in and even lead us to our room it was our anniversary they had a a lovely surprise for us with balloons and cake pat transferred us on the shuttle to the palmer restaurant and the food staff and surroundings where very nice. then Stephen on the gate house was extremely pleasant and knowledgeable as we took the bikes around the 560 acres he give us a great chat about the kclub and the surrounding area. a must visit
the only slight disappointing thing was the jacuzzi wasn’t working in the spa the pool has a bubble bath going so like I said it was only slight disappointment.

Staff are lovely.
Pillow quality was poor, room cleaning wasn't up to scrap. Cobwebs on the ceiling and in the bathroom. Overpriced for what your getting. Outdated, tired interior. Needs a refresh. No mini bar. For a 5 star I didn't think I needed to pre request to stock the mini bar.

Hotel restaurant & staff excellent.
Spa facilities average. Not what you would except from a 5 star hotel. Horse riding expensive for the facilities & off the club site. Not what the adverts portray.

location
Price was absolutely extortionate for value for money . . then we were charged twice and when we enquired we were told the staff were off for the week . our weekend cost £1300 pounds for two nights, one in the golf club for food and one night in the restaurant with no spa treatments. the spa outside wasn’t working and the pool on the inside was very disappointing and too cold . the sauna and steam are in the male and female changing rooms and very small . on a comparison to other 5 star hotels this was ridiculously overpriced.

Excellent Hotel, great staff and exceptional service plus very professional. You could see that the Hotel, leisure facilities plus the grounds around it were kept in excellent condition and beautiful. The staff made us feel so welcome and you could see they had pride in their work. I would highly recommend staying. I liked everything and I couldn't fault our experience.

Food didn,t blow us away in either restaurant.

The facilities were superb with beautiful rooms and state.
There was an additional service fee of 12% for everything, including the room and restaurants. The cost of food is overpriced and staff makes repeated mistakes charging extra money. For example, on two occasions our bill didn't correspond with what we ordered. They confused a glass for a bottle, they included a treatment that we cancelled in our final invoice.

Breakfast was very good. We had a lovely room with a very nice view.
We did have to wait hours to check in.

My partner loved the ornate style and class of the place. It simply has a majestic feel to it.
I was very impressed by the genuine and helpful nature of all staff.

The location, staff, facilities, food and of course the golf courses were totally 5* ++.
Stunning location - would highly recommend the segway tour as a great way to see around the estate.
The staff, each and every one, were just lovely and couldn't have been more helpful, especially Brendan, Concierge, who went over and beyond for us.
Beautiful bedroom with amazing bed and great facilities.
Food to die for - we ate in all the restaurants and each one was amazing.
Golf courses are the best! You could play snooker on the greens!
The Spa is lovely and I would highly recommend the 'Grounding Ritual' massage treatment.
Thank you K Club for an amazing birthday break - you made it very special.

Bicycle routes need updating.

The cleanliness was phenomenal. I run one of Ireland’s largest gyms, we pride ourselves on the cleanliness of it but this was ten times ahead of us in that regard
Nothing to improve from my point of view

We had just got married in Adare & had booked in to The K Club prior to our return to England. Upon arrival we had, very kindly, been upgraded in to one of their luxurious suites. An incredible ending to our very special weekend.
Everything was perfect, thank you so much,
