Toilet broken door. Hot water in one of the bathroom was not working. Out of toilet paper. Kitchen stove was not working. It does not worth to stay in the place.

Perfect for a one night stay.

Clean cabin and common facilities. Walking distance from the village. A nice nature trail starts right next to the camping area.

The cabins are really close to each other. The shower in the public areas only comes with cold water if you do not have coins with you.

Exceptional

We were staying there only for one night and are very pleased with our stay there! 😊 Can highly recommend it- good value for money! Very freshly renovated house which has been painted over in white and light green colour, new wooden floor, a bunk bed for 3 people! Fresh bedding and matrases (bring your own bedding as we had our own and we are unsure if they provide for the extra charge, probably they do as camping is on a relatively high level), a kitchen table with 3 chairs, a kitchenette has everything to cook your own food, small fridge, cattle, dishes, two windows which is fantastic to have in a hot summer day, huge porch towards sun all the day - has three chairs with a table but would even fit in sun chairs. Parking is available directly near the house. Common toilets, shower and a bigger kitchen are available and are equipped with everything, fresh and clean. For the shower you need coins of 10 krona which run shower for 6 mins. Two shower cabins for women and two for men. We never experienced a queue. We have only good experience with this camping and can highly recommend it! ♥️

Good

We got a small cabin and it was sufficient for one night. Had a fridge and heater and we paid a small fee for linen. Kitchen and toilet facilities were nearby and clean. Has a rustic appeal and pretty cheap Sjoholt is a lovely area and we could walk into town.

Curtains could be improved and you do have to pay for the shared shower

Standard camping with no specific extra.

Standard Norwegian camping.

WiFi did not work. View from the window :to another house. 10 min by foot to lake.

The location was stunning, we really didn’t know what to expect beforehand but it was a true Norwegian cabin experience

Very spacious, cozy and good amenities

Shower had a leak which flooded the floor but we managed to clean this as best as possible

For what you pay 100% worth

It wasn't expensive and exectly what we wanted.

The showers where weird, in that it was unclear if you had to pay for warm water.

We were doing a road trip and the camping was on the route we were taking. There was a double booking so the cabin we booked was already taken, instead we got two cabins connected to each other which was perfectly fine.

There isn't much to do around the camping. For us that was fine since we were only there for one night, but I wouldn't have want to stay at the camping longer than we did even though the facilities are fine.

Good place to stop over night, but wouldn't be staying there for more than that.

We stayed in one of the cabins at the property. We arrived late at around 10pm and no one was at the reception, but our keys were in the key box. Price was very reasonable compared to some other cabins we looked at. The cabin had a bunk bed, dining table, fridge, electric kettle and also a spacious patio with table and chairs.

There were no play facilities for the kids or any other recreational facilities for that matter. We didn't get the wifi password when we came, but eventually got it from the reception in the morning. Showers also had to use 10 kroner coins so we had to exchange some at the nearest gas station.

You have to pay shower with hot water. The curtains in the room were not covering all of the windows. The mattress was not straight.

It's fairly close to the center of Sjøholt with a grocery store, gas station and restaurant. The views by the fjord are stunning.

There's not much of a view from the rooms, but there are nice views in the area All the chairs on the balcony had cracks Reception opening hours is 15-20

Perfect to spend few money in Norway

The cottage is essential, nice to see and with four bunk beds. Also there was a table outside with four chairs to have a common meal together. At the reception they gave us bed linen for all without extra costs. The bathroom is bot in the cottage but the common building was not far from us.

Inside there are two armchairs instead of four chairs, so it was quite impossible to have breakfast together. Furnitures are not sufficient, we asked to other people for a pot to cook a pasta. There is no mini market, essential to arrive already prepared. The common kitchen was not so clean, as the common bathroom, only two for women with two small sinks, no place to lay the beauty-case or towels.

Good value for basic camping site

Free shower, ok size room, toilet and shower was in the same building as our room. Water heater and nice size fridge in the room. Heating and lighting were also good.

Signs could've been more clear, some people besides us had trouble navigating in there, specially if you arrive in the evening when its dark.
