I was organizing the stay for my parents in law, who don't speak English. Patricia was amazing in helping with anything and going above and beyond to make them feel at home even with the language barier. She was very responsive and communication was so easy! She came for an early check in so they can leave the heavy suitcase before the walk in the city. She came back again quiet quickly couple of hour later just to help them open the door lock they've been having difficulties with. She helped in arranging a taxi to the airport. She was helping with anything all the time. An amazing host! The place - awesome! Top location, very clean, everything new, anything you need :) I highly recommend the place and the host!
Literally nothing! Everything was exceptional and amazing :) I highly recommend the place to anyone

Lovely gem of a flat. Traditional yet very well equipped. Great location - super quiet semi-pedestrian street yet the trams are only about 2 mins walk away and you feel like you are in the middle of a real local community. The owner clearly takes great pride in the flat and there were nice touches like umbrellas (not needed) and plenty of towels and toiletries that made the stay that much more comfortable. She also made sure she met us with the keys to show us round the flat and point out little features. It's a well converted flat in an older building that was very easy to feel at home in. Very comfy and big bed - fantastic sleep as it was so quiet too. We cooked one night and found all of the utensils and cooking stuff that we needed which was a lovely surprise. Small shop very nearby as well as a pizzeria and a bar with live music - you don't have to go far to be catered for but the proximity to the tram means you can get all around the city really swiftly too.

Very comfortable and homely in a lovely location right in the middle of the old area of Alfama. Near the castle, Parthenon, monastery and within walking distance of the main square in Lisbon. Great selection of restaurants nearby

everything alright but please note not all pictures match booking.com profile for this apartment.
Patricia was helpful on all accounts and easy to deal with.
Near the castle and cathedral and near tram stop 28 enroute.
Didn't like location, noise outside during the night and from tenants. Area outside window is for other peoples bins also, can hear businesses rolling bins late at night and bin collection right outside at 2am.
Tenants upstairs and just below us noisy, it appears these are permanent lodgers. Listening to music/television, laughing.
Occupant upstairs doing chores stamping around late at night (midnight at least).
Apartment looks nice in pictures but some of these are from other apartments. Parts need to be touched up (patch on ceiling, other paint jobs)
Balcony not as romantic as it sounds, as I said many bins etc down below and please note only the slightest city view from 2nd floor even though it was titled as so, very disappointing and misleading. Could also not hear any fado music as other people had mentioned in previous reviews.

Patricia is the ultimate host.
Allowed early check in and helped sort out paperwork.
Followed up to make sure everything was good
Lovly experience
Nothing major was wrong, the climb to the apartment was a bit daunting but we got used to it

The apartment was in a central location very close to restaurants and city centre and public transportations. We really loved our stay there, and the host was so helpful and was always trying to make sure we are not missing anything. I'll definitely recommend this place to my friends.
I think this is something common in all Lisbon, but if you have heavy luggage you need to do some practice as the stairs are vertical and narrow which makes it very hard to carry the luggage to the second floor.
As well, the taxi does not drop you at the front door of the building, so you will need to walk a bit.

Everything. Lovely, cosy and comfortable appartment, with personal touch (not the typical "perfect design touristic" one) with windows and small balcony overlooking a lovely small square. Another advantatge: the street had limited traffic vehicle so it was mostly tranquil.
The person in charge, Patricia, was lovely, attentive, always ready to help with any little problem or question; very professional, meeting us personally the first day was a very nice touch which we appreciated (nowadays in this "self check-in world, that kind of details have become very rare)
I can't think of anything, besides from the steep streets, ups and downs every day (ha,ha! joking, something you already know if you've ever visited the city)

An excellent and interesting location, a short walk from the center, the historic tram and the train station. Well equipped kitchen. Pleasant hostess.
A less comfortable couch in the living room. One floor above they had a child who ran around the apartment in the morning and the stomping carried over to our apartment - noisy.

Excellent location within walking distance of everything: groceries, restaurants, sightseeing, 10 minute walk to Santa Apolónia train station. Clean and comfortable for 3 people. Great to have a well-equipped kitchen. Friendly hostess ready to help! To hear fado in the evening, all we had to do was open the window. We have stayed in short term rentals in Lisbon before, this was the best of them.
Would be nice to be able to pay with a credit card.

We had a lovely stay! Appartement is big, nice balcony, perfect for 2 or 3 people. All facilities are present and extras, like plenty of towels, coffee, tea, etc. We had an amazing stay here!
Located in the historic centre, supermarket, restaurants and bakery nearby. You can take the local historical trams around the corner. Loved it!
Pack some good shoes and prepare the climb the hills of Lisbon! :-D
The owner was very thoughtful, she would check-in if we are okay or need anything else. And helped us out with public transport. :)
-Bedroom has no room to keep your suitcases/clothes, we used the closet space in the hallway. Perfect solution.
-It is a little noisy when the neighbors come home. Besides that I was surprised about how quiet the apartment was! Barely any street-noise.
There are a few minor flaws in the apartment. Some are mentioned in other reviews, nothing I cared about.

The location is great - right in the middle of Alfama and easy to walk into Lisbon city centre along the river. The apartment is well equipped. The living space is comfortable and it's nice to have a small balcony - not big enough to sit out on but you are able to open the doors onto the street. The shower is very good. The host checked in a few times via Whatsapp to make sure everything was okay for us, which was much appreciated.
The bedroom is only marginally bigger than the bed itself, but there's plenty of room in the rest of the apartment.

This property is located in the historical area which is amazing. The castle, tram, the panoramas from the hills are amazing and very close.
The area has many local little restaurant.
The flat itself is a very good size, facilities are good, the bed is extremely comfortable.

The location was great and we loved having the balcony onto the street. The shower and Wi-Fi were both great and the bed was comfortable. Patricia was very pleasant and helpful.
The door onto the street was noisy as it scraped the floor and could perhaps be fixed by shaving a small bit of the bottom. But it was far from the bedroom so didn't disturb our sleep.
