In the information I was twice told someone would meet me at the property, then I got an email to “update” my credit card. As I knew my credit card was fine, I send an email with time of arrival, and a text to the telephone # given and expected to pay after I had seen the property. In spite of this, there was nobody to receive us. We were told we might wait 45 minutes! I told the perso to hurry up. When he came he was rude, till I told him to remember who was paying. He was in a hurry eager to be paid, forgot to tell us how to lock up, coffee maker was broken,no instructions, no hairdryer, minimum in cooking/ eating equipment. Apartment was fine but attention totally lacking.

Location was good

Aircon unit was extremely noisy and required the window to be opened to allow the hot air to be expelled. There was a lot of street noise, construction all day during the day and evening an people going out during the evening and night. There were arguments, lots of shouting in the night early morning so very hard to sleep. The windows in the bedroom didn’t close probably so we couldn’t block out the noise even when Didn’t use the aircon There was no way to pay online so I have to give my credit card detail The sofa bed didn’t work. Coffee pods were not supplied with the machine, I tried two popular brands they didn’t fit. This cost me over $12 euro. few pods to start off with and to buy the correct size would really have helped The sheets were worn and thin, they need replacing, they have bobbling which made the uncomfortable to sleep on. The towels were threadbare and hard, I expect more from paying this amount each night. I was emailed the day of the booking and told I needed to pay to get instructions to get in. The booking stated I could pay on the premises this was incorrect. There was no way to pay online so I have to give my credit card details over the phone to someone I didn’t know. Also because I have an overseas phone and can’t make calls from different countries only internet access this was extremely stressful on the morning of the check in. I was flying from elsewhere and received an email requesting I pay upfront without providing an online (secure) way to do it. What would have happened if I didn’t check my mails that morning. This will be a common occurrence from visitors overseas who will either incur call roaming charges or be unable to meet this requirement. I had to make contact with the agent with no phone whilst the in the airport boarding a flight. This could have all be avoided with accurate instructions to say needed to pay in advance, stating I could pay at the property was misleading and an online secure way to pay.

Good location, detailed instructions for self check in.

Unfortunately it did not really have air conditioning as advertised. It was a small R2D2 like unit, but it vented all of the hot air into the room. Otherwise you had to open the windows to vent it, which defeated the purpose, esp on one of the hottest summer days. Also had a big sign saying not to touch the water heater, but we had no hot water until messaging them (quick reply!) and then told to in fact turn on the water heater.

Despite comprehensive instructions for entry there were no keys in the lockbox. I had no response from the contact number, fortunately the guy from the restaurant next door let us in. Upstairs there were a couple of guys working and they had the keys so we managed to get in. The flat itself was ok, but it hadn’t been dusted for a while. which was surprising given the extortionate 40 Euro clean fee. The shower was unusable as the drain was blocked and the bathroom had some very dodgy electrics which I’m sure aren’t EU compliant. The flat was airless and stuffy, the large French windows opened up onto the balcony which gave a view of the grim office block across the street. The noise from the road and the Franz Joseph Kai was pretty much constant, added to the fact the were building works a couple of doors down as well as work going on in the block over the weekend. The air conditioning was a free standing unit that required putting the hose out of the window. In general the property is oversold. It needs work doing to it and it’s just had a superficial lick of paint and some cheap curtains put up to make it look good in the pictures, it also houses a great deal of furniture, including four extra leaves for your kitchen table should you want to host a large dinner party. If you are a fan of The Third Man you may like it, particularly the stairs up to the apartment as they give that feel of a faded post-war Vienna.

The location was superb. Very near the inner town. Also the size of the apartment was quite good. No problem in checking in. The one time complementary laundary service was great. We did not know of it initially but it was written in the building, so that was an additional service for us. The staff were also helpful.

The air conditioning was not good. Also There was some repair work going on at the front of the building so the people were asking to stop the air conditioner . To operate the air conditioner the windows had to be kept open as the air conditioner is a portable one. Also the curtains in the room were broken. The gyeser was also not working properly.

-Central location which is inside the Ringshtrasse. You are in walking distance of any part of the historical city center -Apartment is clean with high ceilings -Very clear and detailed instructions how to check in and check out remotely. It is very convenient

-Just one portable air conditioner which is not enough for 4 people to stay overnight in summer -Furniture is comfortable bjt quite old No instructions provided for the following: -A bit strange sofa which supposed to be electric/automatically streched out. But in practice you should do this manually. -Bed linens for the sofa are locked in the wardrobe in the other room -Door in the shower area is broken and doesn't close firmly. -Water supply mechanism in the shower is also strange and need some time to understand how it works. -The one of the shower heads is broken and leaks. Just missing a small rubber seal. 5 min work. -Communication with host was delayed. - Didn't answer any of my questions about parking spots on the streets and nearby. Provided just brief information about existing of the payed parking nearby. Could advice to pay more attention to parking instructions.

It was the most disgusting room I have ever slept in! Everything was dirty! I am allergic to dust. I had an allergy attack last night. I was afraid he would end up in the hospital! The photos are not real! You can get infected with infectious diseases in the bathroom. The paid cleaning allowance is a joke! Unfortunately, due to work and fatigue, I did not report it anymore. That was a nightmare! I cannot send any more photos…

Perfectly located

Dark room with a view on a dark interior yard. Light needed all day. Noisy from 6.00 am due to some work being done apparently in the yard No air condioning No warm water during a full day but repaired quickly

Great location. Easy access to the flat. Spaceous rooms.

The sofa-bed was not very comfortable. Unfortunately building work directly outside the windows prevented good ventilation and it was dusty.

location is superb including connection to transport, restaurants and stores. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable with clean bed sheets. All appliances work and Wi-Fi speed is great. All necessary kitchen utensils are there.

There was construction work on the facade of the building during our stay. If you open the windows it is dusty and so we couldn’t use the AC. No extra garbage bags

The property is quite tired, clean enough though. The windows in the bathroom don’t have anything to cover them at the top so people can see down into it from other apartments. Also we got charged twice for the cleaning fee which no one is responding to us - beware if booking from UK as they tell you they won’t let you into the property unless you leave cash yet booking.com then charged my card as well, funnily enough the property now won’t reply to my messages. The only good thing was the location really, wouldn’t stay again.

It was not properly cleaned when we arrived, the toilet paper was half-finished by the previous inhabitants. Also, the owner couldn’t be reached.

The room was very well decorated and had beautiful furniture. The location was very nice, but be aware parking isn’t included in the price. There’s a full kitchen with a dishwasher. The foldout couch bed was comfortable.

The cleanliness wasn’t amazing in the kitchen and the balcony wasn’t accessible even though the description mentions it. The parking is expensive and not included in the final price. It was 45euros. You have to also leave 30euros in cash for the cleaning fee.. while traveling it’s not the most convenient to have to go to an atm and get cash just for that. It was pretty cold.

Bathroom and its facilities and its fixtures and its lights

Apartment with stylish furniture. Very close to the center, the main sights accessible on foot, quiet at night.

The apartment did not heat in October, so it was very cold. There was a balcony on offer, but it was under scaffolding, and the door to the balcony could not be locked. On the day of departure, the power went out, so no hot water flowed and there was no correction until our departure.

I liked the location, the building, a historical one with very high roof and old imperial furniture. I felt like a prince. Plus the privacy, the quiet, a relaxful place.

Not all facilities noted on the Booking page were true. For example the TV was not a smart TV. No YouTube or Netflix. The building was in the process of renovation so we could not use the balcony. I would have loved that.

Location was excellent Room was clean and tidy

There is nothing I didn't like . Maybe could of had some coffee,tea etc .. in for you when you arrive

It took 30 minuted to get into the apartment because the checkin key was not in the safe. So I had to call the property and wait until other guests bring back the key. It took them a while. Temperature in the room was probably about 13 C, just a bit warmer than it was outside. The heating (water heating) was off and was not controlled from inside the unit. The windows were old wooden ones, they were easily passing cold air from the outside and right over the bed. The building was old with thick walls, the flooring was a tiled concrete and was ice-cold. So, the room was really freezing, as well as the bathroom. Basically the property was unlivable. Cherry on top, there was not a single towel in the unit. I really wanted a hot shower and searched through the whole unit. There was not a single towel, not even a kitchen paper towel. Somebody brought the towels and turned on the heating the next afternoon. However, I decided not to wait for another day or two before the apartment becomes warm. I moved to the nearby hotel, that was nice and warm. The property refused a refund for the remaining 2 days. This was less important than not getting sick.
