Located just a handful of steps from the beach, this emerald coast vacation rental condo is perfect for your next Florida getaway. Lounge by one of two outdoor swimming pools or spend your mornings walking in the sand. Come back home to your full kitchen to make your favorite tropical dinner, then enjoy it on your private, furnished balcony. Just steps away are great local restaurants like La Paz, Island Wing Company & Louisiana Lagniappe. Henderson Beach State Park is a 7 minute drive east. Take SCUBA lessons at Hank's Scuba, a 4 minute's drive west. The Resort of Pelican Beach is home to many amenities, like a poolside bar, beachside bar, spa, fitness room, video game room & cafe/snack shop. THINGS TO KNOW Beach service is available for rent from March 31st to August 1st. These setups may block the view of the beach from your vacation rental. Guests must be 25 years of age or older to check in or stay. If you are under 25 years old and are not accompanied by a parent or legal guardian that is 25 years of age or older, you will not be permitted to stay in this unit. Please call Vacasa as soon as possible about your reservation. Parking notes: There is free parking available for 2 vehicles. This rental is located on floor 14. Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit. More information can be downloaded from the "Rental Agreement" on the checkout page. Due to local laws or HOA requirements, guests must be at least 25 years of age to book. Guests under 25 must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian for the duration of the reservation.

The view and location.

The furniture in the living room needs to be updated. There was mold in the ceiing of the bathroom. Great location. Great view of the beach. Staff at resort were great. Response ommunication with Vacasa agent/owner was prompt. Someone came out to take care of mold issue.

There was mold on a door, mold on and in the master shower knob. The microwave door was broken and hanging when you opened it. Contacted the management company no one ever called or came to address issues and no refund for the condition on the property. Spend a little more for a better property!!!!!

The overall stay wasn’t bad for the price however I would not rent again due to the many issues that need to be fixed and better use of my money.
The condo wa clean however it was outdated. The ottoman was broken, one of the twin beds was either broke or easily slipped off the rails. The washer didn’t want to drain but after messing with it we finally got it working. The sink backs up and doesn’t drain if the dishwasher is on. The shower head need to be changed as it shoots out water like a rocket on one side that made it hrs for my kids to shower. The tv kept going to a black screen. There were 0 blankets in the condo, thankfully we brought some. The faucet handle and door to the ac unit looked to have mold on it. Parts of the cabinetry and walls are in desperate need of repair and repainting. The biggest issue of all is there is no inside deadbolt for the door and the locks on the balcony doors were stiff or didn’t work. This is a major child safety hazard especially since my 2 yr old could open the door. The staff at pelican was unhelpful and rude. When my child lost their bracelet, I had to pay 25$ to replace it all because the staff put it on to loose.
Do not waste your money here unless it’s a last minute trip. We loved the amenities but you can find those elsewhere.

The condo was a little outdated , couches were old and stained , box spring on single bed was broke , garbage disposal didn’t work , rotted trim in bathrooms, cabinet in bathroom was rotted . Had a musky smell . The view was nice and air worked good .

This place was very well kept and was a delight to stay and wake up overlooking the beach. A little restaurant downstairs was a nice touch for snacks/food while at pool and beach.

I really didn't know what to expect but I must say we were more than impressed with our stay. When you open the door that amazing view stole the show.. omggg just breathe taking. Everything was nice and clean. The beds were comfortable too. I would definitely recommend this to anyone and can't wait to stay again. Thank you for making our first trip to Destin one to remember. Everyone was friendly and access was easy and smooth.

This unit was absolutely filthy! Floors were so dirty our feet would be black in just minutes of walking around. Broken furniture, doors falling apart, bug spray on the pots and pans, to much bad to list. Waiting to see if Vacasa is going to try to make it right with us.

We had a great view of the beach and of the town as well. Loved being on the beach and having great access to pools & hot tubs also. Great place for a relaxing family vacation. Either relax on the beach or have access to lots of fun activities, boat rides and restaurants close by.

The bed was excellent. Very firm & the sheets were wonderful!! As for the master bathroom, the toilet roll was very awkward as you had to reach backward to get the paper. Also the closet was a bit awkward as well because the nightstand got in the way of opening both doors all the way.
The kitchen was very good in that there was no shortage of dishes or utensils. I gave the kitchen a 99% rating. Overall the entire condo was very good. We had a great time!!!

The master bedroom
The bed was excellent. Very firm & the sheets were wonderful!! As for the master bathroom, the toilet roll was very awkward as you had to reach backward to get the paper. Also the closet was a bit awkward as well because the nightstand got in the way of opening both doors all the way.
The kitchen was very good in that there was no shortage of dishes or utensils. I gave the kitchen a 99% rating. Overall the entire condo was very good. We had a great time!!!

Enjoyed our stay here! The pools are awesome and the tiki bar was definitely a plus! Outlets in one bathroom didn’t work but managed with the other bathroom. Overall great time!

The location of the complex is perfect, incredible view and nice sea breeze. when we came in many lights did not work. We called Vacasa and it was not easy to get to the right person to complaine. They fixed lights the same day, leaving some as not fixable. Next day we found out that master bedroom sink clogged and called Vacasa again. They told us that is not emergency and we can use the other bathroom. It was not appropriate, especially that in other bath water flow was very thin. And we picked this condo to have 2 bathrooms and payed for it. Maintenance guy came next day to fix it. Bathtub rode fall down and he could not fix it, saying it needs to be replaced and we can use the other bathroom meanwhile. Again it was not an emergency!!! We did not have it replaced for 3 days! Vacasa reimbursed us for some amount after spending with them about an our with different departments. Maintenance guy does not call before coming, so if you are luck he will catch you at home. We've been lucky for this. Hopefully we helped future renters to fix some problems to fully enjoy their stay.

The weather was wonderful. Beach was beautiful. It was a shame that my family spent our vacation so uncomfortable that I had to sleep on a worn out couch instead of a King mattress that felt like concrete. Do not rent this condo
