This apartment is not worth the cost. The location is fantastic, but the accomodation is on par with a 2-star hotel.

Do not rent this apartment. We rented this apartment in Paris for well over $1000 per night. Unfortunately, the first night we learned that the apartment below ours on the ground floor played electronic techno music with a booming bass and huge amplification every night, almost all night long, and often during the day as well. It also appeared that the occupants of this unit were using and selling drugs, sometimes leaving open the front door of the building to allow access for their activities. People came and went at all hours. The building lobby filled with smoke and the stench of cheap wine. No one in our party was able to sleep and we felt unsafe. It was very hot and we needed the windows open. Of course, if we opened them, the noise was even worse and smoke filled our apartment.
We reported these problems to our host immediately. The host’s initial response was to say that they would resolve the problem through communication with the building manager and the apartment making the noise. We tried banging on the door of the ground floor apartment and yelling during the night.
Each day we contacted the host and each day the host indicated they would take action, each day tricked us into staying each day. Our Paris vacation was ruined. They wouldn't find alternative rooms, and finally told us to call the police (which they had said they would do).
Don't go here! Awful.! lots more to say but word limit on VRBO. VRBO is not helping.

We had 4 of us in Paris for a dream vacation. We wanted to feel like we were living in a real French apartment. This one is ideally located on the fantastic Ile St Louis with views of the river. The apartment comfortably held all 4 of us in 3 bedrooms. The great bonus was a washer/dryer, so we could do laundry. Check in/out was a breeze. Only suggestion would be to have a fan in each bedroom, as there is no A/C. I will return here again - we loved everything about this place!

The apartment location could not be outdone. It was comfortable and fit our needs, and was in a wonderful little neighborhood on the Ile St. Louis. The neighborhood had a boulangerie, ice cream shops, grocery store, oyster restaurant, cheese shop, crepe shop, so we basically ate all of our meals in. There were also a few cute bistros when we did want to go out for dinner. We strolled along the Seine and all in all had a wonderful time.

We loved the neighborhood and location. However, the apartment felt cramped, even though there were only 4 of us. There was no room for luggage and the closets were tiny.

Fantastic location- the island is quiet and small but has everything you need. Cute markets and good restaurants are walking distance. The apartment was good for our family of 5, 3 are college kids and they were good with a bunk and pull out sofa. We never really cooked (why?!😂) but the kitchen was well stocked. The living room windows overlooking the Seine were amazing! Would definitely stay there again.

Family of 4, we really enjoyed our 4 day stay. Absolutely perfect location, beautiful view over the Seine, loved being on the corner of Ile St Louis. Charming, cozy little apartment; could do with some updating. Master bedroom is interior and gets stuffy - was tempted to move to the back bedroom which has a window on the courtyard. For those of us from the suburbs, a reminder that the city is noisy - sirens, music, other residents - but that's all part of the scene. We managed to bake birthday souffles in the kitchen. Manager Vera was very helpful.

My husband and I and our son and his family (including 3 kids age 6-12) so enjoyed staying at this charming, well - appointed apartment for a week in July! The location is perfect. With two big windows overlooking the Seine, we stayed cool despite record breaking heat. We arrived well before check-in time, but were warmly greeted and shown around. The layout — walking through the bunk bed room to get to the second queen bed room — worked well for our particular family group, and it was great to have all the bathrooms!! (Two toilet / sink combos and two bathrooms with full-size vanities and shower and (for one) tub. The location was fantastic, with charming shops and restaurants rear by and easy access to all sights, many just a stroll along the Seine.
Cannot recommend this place enough. Can’t imagine ever staying anywhere else in Paris.

Positives - The location and neighborhood are amazing! It was easy to get everywhere but the island made for a quieter place to retreat while still finding great food options. The space was also perfect for our group of 6 people (4 adults and 2 kids)! Note that the bunk bed room and one of the double rooms are connected.
Negatives - We essentially had no hot water in the showers! We tried everything and not one of us got more than 3-5 minutes of hot water. Also, when using the washer/dryer, there was no way to dry our clothes. While we understood that the dryer may not completely dry everything (even with the very small loads we did), it took several drying cycles to get them to the “damp” stage and no drying rack was provided to finish the process. We reached out to the owner two days in a row about these issues and it took a long time for a response. We did finally get in touch with a property manager who arranged for a plumber to check the hot water situation but it was not resolved before we left. For the cost of this unit, we expected hot water and more responsiveness from the owner.

Wonderful time in Paris
This apartment is in a fantastic location and has an amazing view of the Seine. Property was clean and comfortable, communication was great, and check-in/check-out were quick and easy. Would definitely stay here again!

Ile St. Louis, the heart of Paris
When we got to the apartment the property manager was there. Violeta was friendly and explained everything very well. The apartment was easy to find and only one fight up. Everything was like the pictures. Great view of the Seine. Even though there were a lot of restaurants and people around the corner, our apartment was very quiet day and night. We were in an ideal location for walking around our favorite city. We loved our stay!

It was a cute apartment with great views of the river. The neighborhood was perfect….lots of fun cafes within steps! We felt like we were part of the neighborhood!

This is a nice property located on the Ile St. Louis. The apartment has everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a dishwasher and clothes washer, dryer. It is close to bakeries, markets, and restaurants. As it is in an old building, rooms are small by American standards, but being able to walk the streets of this historic area at night or early morning is magical

We miss Paris...
The property location was the best location i have stayed at in Paris! The owner was very responsive and helpful and the property was perfect! My only critique is of the cleaning service. The apartment was not dusted beforehand. We only had one towel for each person. And the woman who greeted us seemed very much in a hurry and was out of there in 10 min without much explanation. I would recommend the property highly but they need a new cleaning service and greeter.

This apartment had a wonderful river view overlooking the Seine, and a great location on Ile Saint Louis! Our family of 5 (2 adults, 3 teens) had lots of room, and good setup with 2 full showers and 2 separate half baths, which made it great for a group. There are wonderful cafes around the corner, and lots of pastry and ice cream shops! We walked everywhere and found it a great way to explore Paris from this location, since we could experience the different Paris neighborhoods along our riverside walks - and it was always great to return to beautiful Ile Saint Louis at night to relax in the apartment living room overlooking the river!

This apartment was wonderful for our family stay. Someone met us when we arrived and gave us all the information. The location on Ile St Louis was amazing! We had everything we needed for our 3 days in Paris.

The apartment was amazing, some even said it was the best part of our trip! Very comfortable for 8 people. Just be ware that the hot water does not last long.

Excellent Location and Amenities
The apartment is in an excellent location with the Seine immediately outside the large front windows. It accommodated all 7 of us (grandparents, parents and 3 children) comfortably. We were there during the recent 90 degree heat wave, and though there was no air conditioning, the apartment cooled down at night with a nice breeze and the fans.

Fantastic apartment in the heart of Paris!
Our family of five had a great stay in this wonderful apartment. The owner is very responsive and gracious. It is so nice to have a kitchen and washing machine. The bathrooms are both split - toilets separate from showers - so it is very convenient when everyone is getting ready. Check in and check out was a breeze. We hope to return!

DO NOT RENT THIS APARTMENT !
Although this apartment is in an excellent location, the pictures and descriptions are grossly deceptive.
There are only two “real” bedrooms, not four. And you are required to pass through one bedroom to get to the other one.
All the rooms are much smaller than they appear in the pictures, and I say this after having lived in Paris— I am very familiar with Parisian apartments.
The place is clean enough, but, clearly, it has been a r3natl for many years, and it shows. No pride of ownership or attention to detail here.
We were so disappointed, we moved out after only one night. The owner refused to fund us the money w paid for the four additional nights we had booked.

What a property and what a location!
We had a great trip to Paris and our 2 families fit perfectly in the apartment. The location is wonderful and we were able to walk easily places and use the Batobus and metro. Great place!

A perfect Paris Experience in a stunning apartment!
Your quai de Bourbon apartment was just perfect for us. Traveling to Paris for our 60th Anniversary with our family (5 in total), we were delighted with the property. On the second floor facing Pont Louis-Philippe, we had total privacy but windows facing the Seine and the bridge, perhaps one of the loveliest views in Paris. By day and by night we watched people walking the bridge and we experienced a never ending view of Baton Mouche like tourist boats passing us. It was particularly exciting with the first night as the boats came by every 30 seconds as they rushed to see the Effile Tower light up. The apartment is just beautiful, with a gorgeous living room, modern well appointed kitchen, nice bedrooms with very comfortable beds. And the location! Around the corner from the lovely shops of Rue Saint Louiren-Ille. Berthillon ice cream just around the corner! My favorite pastry shop with its scowling owner for morning croissants and baguettes. A truly wonderful experience. We will return!!!

Great apartment - get the whole family!!
We loved our stay! Our group consisted of four adults and three kids (parents, grandparents and kids). There were plenty of rooms and showers for everyone. The bunk beds were not too large, so it is best children sleep in them. The apartment stayed warm and comfortable, despite the cold afternoons.
The Ile Saint Louis are and the apartment were quintessential Paris! You could hear the Notre Dame bells ring while looking over the Seine River through the double French windows in the living room ! There were a plenty of restaurants and a grocery store nearby. We loved our visit!

THE BESDT LOCATION YOU CAN DREAM.,
We had a unforgettable stay in Paris, thanks to this apartment. The apartment is located exactly where we would have dreamt.The unit has large windows opening directly on the river! We were met by an host upon arrival who gave us a spirited over-view of the operation. Based on her descriptions, we had learned how to operate all machines as well as the non obvious washer-dryer. We were few feet from Notre Dame and a short walk to the Louvre, with many awesome cafes and shops. Walking is a pleasure and a discovery there so we err anywhere with delight: Saint Germain, Saint Michel, Le Marais, stopping at the evil chocolate shops , at Cafe De Flores and Magot . Advised restaurants Reminet, Petit Chatelet. Can't wait to return!

Beautiful, charming apartment afforded a magical week in Paris for family of five.
This was an excellent vacation rental. Ile St. Louis is a charming central location, close to many transit options and walking distance to many Paris landmarks. We were able to drop our bags before check-in, which was very convenient. The apartment was spotlessly clean. There were fresh cut flowers in vases throughout (!!!!). The large French doors overlooking the Seine afforded nice breezes and gorgeous views. The bedrooms were comfortable, with nice firm mattresses, good pillows, clean and soft linens, and ample closet space. The kitchen was well-appointed, and the appliances were easy to use. The living and dining room have recently been beautifully redecorated (which is an improvement over the photos). The bathrooms were very clean and there was plenty of hot water for showers for 5 people every morning. The stairs from the building entrance to the apartment were safely navigated without assistance by our 80 year old mother. We encountered none of the issues that are mentioned in other recent reviews. This lovely apartment gave us memories that will last a lifetime. We will certainly look to stay here again sometime in the future. Thank you, Sauveur and Vera!
