Brilliant choice for an excellent value family vacation

Excellent value. Comfortable and quiet 3 bed townhouses set around shared pool and BBQ. Far enough from town to be quiet but an easy walk in for dinner and excellent cheap shuttle service available to return home. Excellent care and help from on site owner.

Relaxing and comfortable stay with very friendly and helpful hosts!

Fantastic holiday accommodation! Great location as the town and beach were a short walk away. Clean, spacious facilities and comfortable beds. Mel and Andy were both very warm and welcoming hosts. Mel helped us to book activities with local companies and also kindly helped us book a last minute airport transfer which was a huge help! Will be recommending to friends and family. Thank you Mel and Andy :)

Lovely townhouse in Port Douglas

Nicely presented self contained accommodation in a small complex of detached townhouses with lovely tropical landscaping and well maintained surrounds. Quiet complex at night so slept well in comfortable very large beds. We had everything we needed for our one week stay in Port Douglas and particularly enjoyed sitting on the upper balcony and ground floor patio - so relaxing. Sizable heated pool was situated in front of our townhouse along with an undercover bbq area. We liked that all the facilities were just a step away when we needed/wanted to use them. Managers are very friendly and accommodating and the townhouse was clean and inviting on our arrival. Well situated complex in Port Douglas.

Fanstatic location and very comfortable

We really enjoyed our 7-day stay at Tropical Nites. The entire townhouse was spacious for a family of four adults, very clean and comfortable. The kitchen is equipped with enough crockery, saucepans etc. for a dinner night in. It felt like a home away from home. It was located just a nice 10 minute walk away from 4 mile beach, a great location for a morning stroll. The town shops and marina are also nearby, approximately a 2minute drive. Check-in and check-out was very easy, parking was also available and safe. Mel and Andy were very friendly owners, who were very helpful in also organizing a few activities for us. I would highly recommend this stay for a relaxing and comfortable stay in Port Douglas.

Very good

Good location. Nice pool area. Mel and Andy were fabulous. Friendly and helpful. Booked tours for us, recommended places to eat. Living area was comfortable with new couches.

Beds were not particularly comfortable. Bathroom in our townhouse needed an upgrade.

Comfortable, friendly and affordable accommodation.

Very spacious apartment. Very comfortable beds. The apartment was very clean. Quiet location set amongst lush attractive gardens. Kitchen well kitted out, everything we needed to cook a meal. Friendly hosts to greet us upon arrival with helpful local knowledge. Very sad to leave.

Port Douglas Paradise

Mel & Andy were excellent hosts, very accommodating to all our needs. They went above & beyond to make our stay pleasant & Comfortable. Property was clean and within walking distance to the main shops. Highly recommend this resort as our stay was exceptional.

It would have been nice if there was a bathroom/toilet downstairs in our unit. That was the only downfall.

Super HOSTS!! 10/10!!

Mel and Andy were fantastic hosts and their townhouses went above and beyond our expectations. We stayed here with our 4 children and they couldn’t have enjoyed it more, the pool and facilities were fantastic and such spacious apartments also!! We WILL be back!!

If I get the chance to return to Port Douglas I would definitely stay in Tropical Nites again.

I went self catering and the facilities in the apartment were excellent. The apartment exceeded my expectations. It is completely kitted out with everything you need, dishwasher, fridge freezer, hob, washing machine, tumble dryer, microwave, AC, television, balcony etc. The apartment was very spacious. We did not use the pool therefore I could not comment on the outside facilities. Mel and Andy were extremely helpful with any query I had. I would definitely recommend this venue to any potential visitors to Port Douglas.

I couldn’t find fault with this venue.

An all round perfect family holiday place with great hosts and very nice pool

The appartments are very nice, spacious and you'll find all the basics you need for a great stay. We've been there with the kids, which certainly loved the pool the most! There is a great BBQ place near the ppol where you can cook a lovel y dinner and spend some nice time with your loved ones. The hosts Mel and Andy are super helpful when it comes to hints and recommendations on what to do and see around. Also, whenever you need something, they help you. All in all we've been treated as very valueable guests and that has been the common tenor from everybody around. Thanks a lot!

Loved it

We stayed in a 2 bed house .. it was just like home from home .. well equipped kitchen .. lounge 2 bedrooms and bathroom .. with a shared swimming pool on site . The added bonus of having laundry facilities within our house was great ( been travelling for months and paying at motels ) Mel was absolutely delightful called around tour companies to get us in on last minute tours .. we loved it so much we cancelled one of our other motels and booked another 2 nights here
