You enter the house through street steps onto the first floor piazza and then up the steps to the second floor overlooking treetops and rooftops. Now enter the apartment from the second floor piazza into a large high ceilinged GREAT ROOM with beautiful hardwood floors, a large dining room table. The brand new KITCHEN with elegant cabinetry and quartz counter is tucked away to the rear of this light-filled "great room". The marble counter with barstools is an inviting gathering space where you can visit, watch the cook or enjoy a glass of wine. The kitchen has a complete supply of dishes and cookware. We have tried to add items that would make entertaining a joy. LIVING ROOM/4TH BEDROOM To the left are double folding doors leading into the grand living room with classic fireplace. The room is furnished with 4 velvet swivel chairs on brass legs and a top of the line, beautiful sofa sleeper with gel queen mattress. In one corner, next to the fireplace, is a very clever and complete BATHROOM (2nd) with roomy marble shower with handsome glass door. Guests can use this room as a 4th bedroom with a very secure door. The great room where you enter and the well equipped kitchen complement the gracious living room along with the piazza to make a comfortable and attractive space for friends and family to mix and socialize in a typical Charleston setting. MASTER BEDROOM Off of the dining room to the right is a small but comfortable bedroom (BR 1) with queen bed, a pretty window and closet and an entrance to the BATHROOM (1) with a soaking tub/shower. This bathroom can also be entered from the entrance room so also serves as another guest/common bathroom. DORMER ROOMS Between the kitchen and the living room is a charming spiral staircase leading to two super charming DORMER ROOMS (2&3), each with their OWN BATH (2&3). These rooms have the oldest and prettiest floors of any of our properties The triple windows look over the rooftops and are a joy to experience. Each of these rooms has a King Bed with the idea that there is plenty of room for couples or singles that want the larger bed size to share. Of course the space is perfect for children but also a couple would be happy since each room has total privacy including closet space and desks. The space is under the dormers so a tall person will duck if getting in and out from the sides. The middle space in front of the window is full height. Let us know your preference so we can have it set up the way you want. Each apartment has something special but this might be our favorite. It is elegant and provides an opportunity for our guests to receive their guests as a Charlestonian would. The three apartments in this building are all separate but connect through the piazzas and provide the perfect space to be together and separate.

This place was perfect for our group of 7 girlfriends in town for the Charleston Wine and Food Festival. Walking distance to shops, restaurants, and the visitor's center where we caught our shuttle out to the Village. We enjoyed the courtyard and fire pits after a long day. I highly recommend to those looking for comfort, convenience and have the physical ability to climb stairs.

We had a great weekend and the house was very clean. The location was walking distance to everything we wanted. Parking is a challenge if you have more than one car but there is a garage nearby. Definitely would stay again!

Great location, just a block off of King St. Loads of local spots for coffee, happy hour or lunch/dinner. Walk to most areas easily. The accommodations are a bit small for 5 adults as the 4th bedroom is actually the living room. Plenty of outside seating. Washer/dryer and grill are shared with several other units. Would still book again.

Pleasantly surprised at the staples provided by the host. We brought many of the supplies that were already provided. The round stairs were are bit scary and hard to get suitcases up but we managed Thank you

We had plenty of space to sit around and chat which was our #1 goal. Kitchen was fabulous. Beds were a hit with great mattresses and sheets. A couple of things to note... 1. Light in bathroom in the murphy bed room doesn't work. pretty dark. 2. No lights on the front of the unit to mark our place so was very difficult to find it. Plus the "1" is missing in 178. 3. The sink in that same bathroom (as mentioned above) the water did not get hot. 4. The bathroom with the sink in the window upstairs needs a light. Hard to put on makeup. These are not deal breakers by any means but just thought you should know. We will still recommend this place to our friends and family.

There were seven of us and we all wanted to have our own beds to sleep in. There was plenty of rooms, beds, and bathrooms so we were able to hangout yet have our own spaces to get ready. It is a really cute place with a great porch to hang out in. it’s right on the heart of things so we often just walked to restaurants and shopping. it was totally safe and we were never nervous about walking back late at night. The contact person was extremely responsive and even accommodated us checking in early age checking out later! Great stay!
