My sister and I came to town to surprise my son for his 50th birthday. All turned out great and our place was only 5 minutes from his house. The house was great as was centrally located to get around town. The owners did a great job keeping the walkways and driveway cleared of snow and needless to say it snowed every single day we were there.
We definitely stay there again if we come into Anchorage.

We had a great stay at Casey's place. Met our needs perfectly! The master bedroom is large with a comfortable bed, the second bedroom had two beds that worked well for our two teens. Bathroom was large, laundry available. Fully furnished with comfortable furniture in the living room, a nice sized kitchen with coffee and a coffee maker and a nice snack basket for guests. Located in a peaceful, quiet and safe neighborhood with parking in a carport. Very clean and easy to find everything. Very relaxing stay that met all of our needs, we will definitely stay here again. Casey and Ryan are excellent hosts!

This property was easily found and accommodated what we needed. The house has what you need and a great spot to rest after our time each day in Anchorage. Thanks for the great stay!

I chose this property based on the reviews, pictures, and that the host and her husband made it a point to say ‘all are welcome here’ in their listing. Every part of our stay exceeded my expectations. The house was clean, had snacks (which were huge when we got in super late), and felt like home. The welcome binder was full of information and recommendations. The bed was insanely comfortable. There were bikes and helmets to use, and the location is literally a one minute ride from the awesome Anchorage waterfront trail system. Casey, her dogs, and her nephew were just lovely human beings and although brief, I felt like in our conversation I was talking to a friend I’d known for years. If we ever are fortunate enough to make it back to Alaska, I would be jump at the opportunity to stay here again. So many thanks!

We had a fantastic stay in Casey’s house in Anchorage. The kitchen and bathroom had everything we needed. Little touches throughout the house made it feel homely. Location was good—we walked to downtown on our first morning through the nearby park.

We just had a few days to explore the Anchorage area, and this was a perfect location for our base. The notebook in the kitchen had loads of info and maps! We would stay again.

Very centrally located close to downtown and outdoor activities. Very comfortable. Casey was easy to communicate with. She provided many breakfast foods, milk in the fridge, lots of tea and coffee options, and a Brita pitcher of water in the fridge. Great place to stay!

The property is located around many walking trails with a creek that runs through it, absolutely beautiful. The neighborhood is quiet and there’s room to sit outside and soak it all in. The property was clean and spacious. The bed was amazing! Casey and Ryan were incredibly friendly, happy to chat and point us in the direction we needed. Their yard is beautiful and their pups were adorable and friendly!

we spent two nights at Casey's place after a week of cycling, hiking, and kayaking. Casey welcomed us with open arms (and some lovely smoked salmon), gave us tips of where to eat and walk in the neighborhood, and was more than responsive and kind. Her place is lovely, with everything one could need for either a day or a week from home. Highly recommend both Casey and her place.

This rental was so comfortable and perfect for our stay! The location is superb - easy and quick to downtown and midtown, close to the airport. The amenities, snacks, comfy beds and space were so appreciated! The owners are wonderful and awesome communicators. This is SUCH a better place to stay than a hotel!!

Easy access to downtown and a park is within walking distance, quiet neighborhood.
Beds were comfortable, place was clean, plenty of room for family of 4, nice to have a washer and dryer to use.
There is a binder with recommendations of things to do that we used for the two-night stay.
Would stay again if we go back to Anchorage in the future.

Had a wonderful stay at Birdsongbandb!
Casey has thought of everything that you might need during your stay! And they are right next door in case of anything else!
It’s in a nice residential area with shops and restaurants just a few minutes drive away.
It rained most of the time we were there, so we welcomed this nice cozy place to spend the time.

We stayed two nights and appreciated how super clean and comfortable the place was, plus it’s really close to the greenway and coastal trail. The host Casey was extremely kind and accommodating when our trip plans changed at the last minute and we needed to stay a little longer. She also loaned us bikes to explore the biking trails to make the most of a beautiful sunny day. This is a wonderful place to stay in Anchorage. Way, way better than a hotel!

Our lodging at Songbird was awesome. We couldn't have asked for or expected more. It was like a home away from home. Everything we needed was at the home and very clean. It's in a great location, close to town and a beautiful lagoon with a walking path that meets up with the Tony Knowles Path. There are moose in the area and plenty of Alaskan birds.
Casey & Ryan are friendly, thoughtful and respectful. They introduced us to their two dogs, Ulu and Olive and we were able to meet Casey's Mom, Dad and Brother who were also so friendly. They were all willing to give us ideas on what to see and where to go.
We really couldn't have asked for more. The Best VRBO we've stayed in.
Thank you so much for your hospitality!

The house is in a great location by a park and within 8 minutes of downtown. The house is exactly as the pictures show. Plenty of space for a family or two couples.

Not too far from downtown. We had no issues with the area. Not too far down the street is a nice little trail where you can walk and see water wildlife. Would stay here again if we go back to Alaska. The owners were very nice and gave us ideas to do while we were there for the week.

If you are considering staying with Casey, I can cut this short. Book now, you won’t be disappointed
First and probably foremost, Casey is a wonderful host. Pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable, she ticks all the boxes
The place itself is great. 2 bedrooms, super comfortable beds, quiet and spacious. The full kitchen with excellent coffee made mornings something I looked forward to
The location is excellent. If you want to save money, take the bus from the airport. It’s only a quarter mile from the stop to the lodging. If you like to walk, the Chester creek trail system is directly behind the property
Being in midtown, there are numerous grocery stores and restaurants within a mile. Downtown is only 2 miles away and there are 2+ bus lines in the immediate neighborhood. Getting around is very easy
I spend 10 or more nights in Anchorage a year. I will stay here in the future as often as I can
I am certain you will enjoy your stay at the birdsong

I stayed here alone for several days, then my husband joined me on the last day before our trip out of State. We live in Western Alaska. This was a safe, clean, comfortable place. Easier check-in and check-out.

My friend and I stayed in Casey’s property for almost a week. We were in to photograph the area. The property was close to the airports and to highway 1. The kitchen and bathroom were well supplied including a washer and dryer. Casey was very responsive to our questions and super friendly. She’s a good mechanic/electrician to boot as we watched her troubleshoot her camper!!
