This is a beautiful home and perfect for a large family or couple of families wanting to spend time together in the mountains skiing. The home is very clean, well maintained and has a perfect layout- room to be together for meals a s games but with plenty of space to spread out. The main floor living room and kitchen area were super comfortable and have a great view. The location is within yards of the shuttle pick ups making it easy to enjoy downtown or the slopes.
The property management was exceptional. The communication from them was the best we have experienced- timely and relevant.
We would definitely stay here again!

We were a party of 10 and there was plenty of room to spread out. The view was spectacular and the location perfect. We did all things Colorado offers in the summer and came back to a perfect retreat at the end of the long day. The property is perfect, although the deck railing looked as though it needs a little attention. We hope to be back soon!

The house, the view, and even the rental company are a dream. We stayed at His High Place at the end of the season and were a bit worried that there wouldn’t be enough snow but boy were we wrong. The house and the view were spectacular from almost every room (both the front and the back of the house). It was so relaxing to come back from skiing and jump in the hot tub to relax and enjoy the view. Furthermore, it’s a great location that is close to town and anything you’d like to go to in Breckinridge. We also appreciated that they provided sleds, shovels, bikes as well as detergents, soaps, seasonings, etc. you literally just show up and you’re set. And to top it off, River Ridge Rentals was super responsive to all needs and checked in multiple times to ensure we had everything we needed. We will definitely be back!

Property worked awesome for 3 families. Lots of room for everyone. Cooked at the house all but one night and enjoyed every min. Communication for every aspect was great. Hope to return someday. Thank you!

Much bigger than the pictures look! This property was perfect for our long weekend. Beds are comfortable. Kitchen fully stocked and easy ride into town. Will definitely stay here again!

Accommodations met our family needs with plenty of room and space to enjoy little ones running around but for the adults to relax and play games. Location was perfect for activities around the Breckenridge area. We enjoyed our stay and would recommend it to friends. The only issue was it the floor were not swept well

Mixed review
The one BIG issue we had was the Nonfunctioning pull out couches. They did not work and were basically worthless beds!! Very mad about that. Otherwise , I would rate the house as overall good, but NOT great

The house was perfect for two families. There was ample living space and a hood configuration of bedrooms. The views are stunning off the back porch and from the front bedroom. Great location - quick trip into town and easy access to Hwy. 9 for day trips.

House is good, but we had an average experience. One of the bunk bed was broken and not usable. Hot water tub temperature didn’t go about 93 and so was not usable. Fireplace was out of order.

Overall our three families had a great time. Plenty of space and very comfortable. We would have liked the four bedrooms to have been set up as three adult rooms and one kids room instead of two and two. Also the front entrance was unusable and dangerous with sloped ice on the walk. The hot tub was more of a warm tub, never got above about 95 degrees.

There was an issue with the humidifier in the laundry room that made the family room unusable for our trip but the management was highly responsive and communicative to remedy the situation. 9/10 would come back.

The unit was comfortable with most everything needed and a decent value. It was misrepresented as ski-in/ski-out. They should remove that in the description. Management team was helpful when needed during our stay (like having additional pillows delivered), except our daughter left a travel kit with medicine under the sink and the cleaning team "didn't find it". A bit frustrating.

Only issue was Hot Tub not heating properly a few days. The service to correct was very responsive.
Overall a fun & relaxing week with plenty of great skiing. Just need to fix the Hot Tub properly.

We very much enjoyed our stay at His High Place for an extended family ski trip. The location is fantastic for Breck (with shuttle use or drive/park in town). The layout is great, with lots of open spaces and gorgeous mountain sunrise/sunset views. The kitchen was well-supplied (though with the typical “AirBnB dull knife set” and “dishwasher has a quirky thing where tabs don’t fully dissolve” that are kind of par for the course with rentals in my experience). Only two criticisms are that several mattresses were by uncomfortable, particularly the pull out sofa bed upstairs and the double size bunk bed on the lowest level (VERY creaky/noisy such that ANY movement by anyone sleeping in it made loud noises that would keep the whole room awake.) At least the many sofas were comfortable to sleep on, but that probably wasn’t the intention of the owners. But when you wake up and find all the couches occupied and many of the beds unoccupied, there’s definitely a pattern.
