Great apartment in Prati, very close to Vatican City, bus, tram and metro station. Great place to use as a base to see Rome. Elke was a great host that met us at the apartment and gave some really great tips and where to eat and drink.

Everything was good.

Absolutely perfect location, close to public transport, Vatican, all of the sightseeing areas. Lots of nice restaurants nearby. Clean, spacious and very practical.

Nothing, couldn’t find a downside.

We can store the luggage in the apartment after 10:30am as we arrive quite early by flight. The apartment is near Vatican by 5 minutes walk. For other attractions in Rome, it will take 20-30 minutes walk. However, everybody walk in Rome. The owner is very helpful to prepare one more bed for us to let us have own bed.

The electricity shut-off everyday for 2-3 times. We already paid attention to not to turn on all heater and stoves., but it still happen. We didn't know what cause it. We need to go down to the first floor to turn on the control panel as it is not inside the apartment. The owner told us where the control panel is when er check in.

Crystal house had everything you would want in a holiday apartment, impeccably clean and in a very quiet building, close to the Vatican and a metro stop about 5 minutes walk. The host Elke is very helpful and knowledgeable.

Spacious apartment on great location, near Vatican, great restaurants and shops. Also, the local market is just across the street where you can find fresh fruit and vegetables, fish, and dairy products. Metro station Ottaviano is close, as well as bus stops. The apartment is well-equipped with all the amenities you may need during your stay. Elke is a great host with eagerness to help and provide all the information needed.

It is obvious that some stuff in the apartment were used many times (e.g. frying pan, bed sheets, etc), however, there are more good things than bad.

Extremely well located, spacious accomodation, very nice host. Vatican, Trestevere, centro storico - all in walking distance, good restaurants and best icecream just around the corner.

Spacious apartment in an excellent location which is quiet (especially at night) for a city. Restaurants and supermarkets all local as well as an excellent gelato shop. The host is so welcoming and provides excellent advice. We felt looked after. It is easy to walk into the busy main centre to see all the main sights.

The apartment was super nice and spacious - we were a family of five adults travelling and it was great that we had 2 bathrooms. It’s located super close to bus stations and a metro station, so it’s very easy to get to other parts of the city. The apartment itself is located very close to the Vatican and within a 15 min walking distance to some of the main sights in Rome like Castel Sant’Angelo. There are some supermarkets very close around, the apartment has air conditioning in every room so it’s super nice during summer which in our period was extremely warm. And last, but not least, Elke (the host) is an amazing and exceptional host who really tries to help her guests and make their stay as comfortable as possible. She welcomed us upon arrival, provided a lot of great information about sights in Rome, restaurants, supermarkets etc. She even has a binder with all this information at the apartment and was available via her phone number at all times, so definitely an amazing host!

Some of the kitchen equipment/utensils is a bit old/broken, but we could make do with the kitchen equipment that was there. One of the days we had issues with warm water, but that resolved itself during the day, relatively quickly :)

The location was great. Very close to the Vatican museums and St Peter. I would dare say that if less than 30mins don't bother you, other main attractions are within walking distance (except for the Colosseum and its surroundings - for those you can use the metro). The host was very nice and gave us the fast apartment tour since we did not have much time (we had booked tickets to which we were already late).

Everything was great.

Elke was really nice, helpful at all times and prompt to answer any questions and make suggestions. The apartment was nice and big, and really convenient, since it was near the metro. Since it is big, I would definitely recommend it if you are travelling with a group of friends. Our stay was really pleasant!

Sometimes we had an issue with the hot water, because if it went out, it would take a lot of time to be hot again. Maybe because we were 4 people and trying to take showers at the same time.

Great hospitality! The apartment is great and is placed perfectly. Near the metro and a short walk to the center. And very nearby a lots of shops. The host was very helpful with information about the area. Great place!

Location of the apartment is wonderful. Straight in the centre of the City. The size of the apartment is very appropriate for 5 people. 2 bathrooms with toillets are a bonus.

The third room with separate bathroom a little worn out. But not much of a hassle.

The location, the building, the terrace, the lift. Everything was thought of.

The kitchen was a little dark and has little working space.
