Super central location. Hotel has a lot of character and beds are comfortable. Very nice bathroom too!
Some rooms are small for the price. There is also a difference in rooms across same room category.
First room they put us in had a noisy radiator just outside - however they moved us very quickly once we made them aware.

The beauty of the hotel was above our expectation. The room was lovely and had a very welcoming atmosphere with free water, fruits and box of chocolates.
The room only had a shower, but I understand that with the limited space in the city.

Rooms were nice, and quite spacious. Hotel was fairly nice overall. Good pool and gym.
We contacted the hotel about upgrading our room, and received a list of upgrade options. We then sent an email to confirm an upgrade with the hotel, based on the choices we were given. On check-in, they told us they had actually sent us the wrong rates, and we would have to pay an extra 130 euro per night, on top of the amount we were quoted. It ended up being a complete saga. We definitely didn't enjoy our stay, after the way this was managed by the reception team. The worst check-in experience I've ever had at a hotel.
It seemed like the hotel was under-staffed. We couldn't never call concierge as it went to a voicemail system and said 'you can't leave a voicemail on this service', and then hung up on you. Not a big deal, as you could call reception and they would get concierge to call you back - but it's not the best service.
We had a drink in the lobby bar, and couldn't have had another one if we wanted to... we sat there for half an hour and couldn't get the bill. No idea where the staff went, but there was no sight of them. I had to write our details on a piece of paper and leave it there. It wasn't busy, so maybe they left to have a break, and no one was serving in the meantime.
We've stayed at 5 different hotels around Europe during our holiday, and this was our worst experience.
Spend your money elsewhere. The Pulitzer is in a better location (not so crazy), and has an amazing cocktail bar. We'll be staying there next time.
