Very nice apartment in great location! Great hosts! Bustling and a little noisy at night.

The apartment was nicely decorated, comfortable and clean with a nice bathroom and shower, washing machine, big tv, comfy beds and storage and hanging space for clothing. Walk up the narrow steep stairway was a little tough with my suitcase. Very good Korean restaurant across the street turned into a bar at night. People standing in the street drinking and talking until about 2am. Unfortunately I'm a light sleeper and this was a little tough. Hosts were amazing and very helpful. We had a nice bottle of wine, cheese and snacks waiting for us. Location was great and very convenient to everything.

The late night noise was tough! Entry stairs a little tough to navigate with suitcase.

Mal si no quieres fiesta

Estaba muy limpio y nos atendieron muy bien. Amables, atentos y pendientes de los detalles. En ese sentido una estancia agradable.

La ubicación. Aunque está muy cerca de la Praça do Comercio justo debajo hay un bar de copas y un restaurante. Imposible dormir hasta las 3 am por el ruido. Está en la zona de marcha de Lisboa. ¡Incluso los días de diario! Si no es un viaje en el que vayas a salir de fiesta no lo recomiendo

Great location, very comfortable apartment.

Very comfortable apartment. Location is great in Barrio Alto, beds are super comfortable, shower warms immediately . . . Great instructions and information from host. Highly recommend.

Minor cons: the apartment we had was on 4th floor (so 3 flights of stairs). A bit difficult w luggage and stairs. There are also several bars nearby, and we could hear noise from bars at night. Noise wasn’t unbearable though, and we were able to sleep through it.

Recommend to people who want to try the Lisbon nightlife and partie

Great place to stay, in the middle of the Lisbon nightlife!

We payed through booking in front and in the day of arival we didn’t get into the apartment because we didn’t get the keys through the masterlock key safe,the people that owned the apartment didn’t know about our reservation

Not worth recommending.

Clean

Hard to communicate. Everything was through email. My family was hoping to at least just be able to leave luggage early before check in around noon-1pm. I also Understand if it’s not possible. Anyway, Called the number when we got there from the airport around 1pm. but the guy who answered wasn’t helpful. Just said if you didn’t get a message it’s not yet available. Kinda rude and dismissive sounded arrogant. The lady on the other side of the email was okay. We finally where able to get in around 3:45 pm and what do you know? The unit has been ready and available the whole time we were there, made us stay under the beating sun for 2 hours. They probably didn’t want to let us in/ have the early check in. It is their prerogative. Bad experience overall I would say. Most if not all booking.com places are quite nice and accommodating to build repeat businesses. Air b&b places are helpful also. This particular apartment and guy does not seem to care for customers and repeat business. Overall? This place is not worth recommending and repeat business.

Superb

We got our keys in the security box with no problem. The apartment was clean, it had a lot of equipment we used, so it was a pleasant time for us (air dryer, washing machine, microwave, air conditioning....), we had little treat for us in the fridge as a welcoming gift. We had cutlery, bowls, plates, detergents, shower gel, towels, dishwashing needs, clothes dryer. We had some small shops near us, so when we wanted to make ourselves breakfast, we had fresh bread, etc. We paid deposit, which was sent back and the accommodation provider was generally really nice. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and recommend this accommodation. (5 people) Soft beds. (for some, it is a + for others - ) A lot of student parties. We didn't mind at all. Also the place is in a bit uphill area, so expect walking up for a bit.

In rooms, there was little room to spread our suitcases comfortably. There could be also more racks to hang clothes on (like coat-racks), because there was small space to have our clothes dryer spread out and walk in between rooms at the same time (but the clothes dryer was a saver for us). The toilet seat didn't have the board with which you can "seal" the toilet. We needed to buy more toilet paper (maybe it was our bad that we didn't ask for more the accommodation provider). When we went to the apartment building, there was a metal mail box opened behind the front door to the building, so we almost scratched ourselves going steep stairs (it was broken, couldn't be closed properly). Soft beds. (for some, it is a + for others - ). Also the place is in a bit uphill area, so expect walking up for a bit.

Great place managed well

Two bedrooms, walkable location, everything we needed, wine, cheese, and toast was a nice surprise when we got there. Easy to access. Hosts were incredible. Very responsive. Shared a map of things to do, restaurants, and pharmacies in the area. Made sure we could check in early. Neighbors were not loud and nice.

Loud at night because in the bar district. AC did not keep it as cool as we are used to at home (Texas). If we opened the windows at night it was too loud to sleep. No coffee pods for the coffee maker.

Lisbon is great, BairroSweethome is great, Maxwell and Sabrina are great!

We rented 2 apartments, 1 on the first floor and 1 on the second floor. Great apartments, clean and all facilities were very good. The location of the apartments is very good as well. But what I liked the most were the communication with and help we got from Maxwell and Sabrina. Not only before but also during our stay the communication and help were fantastic: arranging transfer from and to the airport, tips for restaurants and sights, delivering sheets at short notice at our request. Many 'big' and 'famous' hotels, airbnb's can't match this. Thanks again Maxwell and Sabrina. I am looking forward to my next time trip to Lisbon and your apartment. Cheers, Stefan

Good central accommodation, highly suitable for larger groups

These apartments were just what we needed for travelling in an extended family group for long weekend meet-up. We expected more noise given it's proximity to a going out area but neither we nor our children 7 and 9 heard much. The apartments were stylish decorated and with fully equipped kitchens and thoughtful items left by the host. Good internet, good tv with the modern apps, good air con.

We had a problem with the flush of one of the toilets but were able to fix it.

Highly recommended!

The location is amazing, right in the old quarter, just a few minutes walk to the transport hubs of Rossio and Pl Figuera. The apartment was large and was good enough to stay inside in the evening when too tired to go out

The only thing to be aware of is the very steep and narrow stairway leading to the top floor, but as long as you take your time it is worth it

Very good

Lovely, characterful apartment, with everything we needed. Well kitted out, comfortable beds, stylishly decorated, charmingly individual. Welcoming wine, tea, coffees, milk, cheese and jam a thoughtful touch, that was appreciated. Although we never met anyone/the owner, there were plenty of helpful emails, including some great recommendations. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and it was a great base for exploring this beautiful city.

Not a problem for us, but the stairs are steep. Beware, it is a noisy night time district, bustling with bars and clubs, but it didn't stop us sleeping!

great location, very comfortable beds. the hosts had kindly left a bottle of wine for each apartment we stayed in. coffee machines were a nice touch and were great for a morning espresso with the rooms that had balconies. quirky flooring. Our group was very happy, exceeded expectations.

I don’t have anything negative to report.

We had a great time and felt right at home in our apartment!

The property was clean, just the right size, and the outdoor patio was a huge plus in our opinion. It was close to many tram and bus stops as well as food markets, and the heat was perfect when it got chilly at night. Having a washing machine, access to Netflix and Wifi made it all so much more convenient! Maxwell and Jorge were super-attentive as well.

The stairs could be challenging for persons with limited mobility or when carrying a large suitcase. The neighborhood can get quite loud at night, so it may be not for light sleepers.

Great stay and location if you do not mind the noise from bars at night.

I loved the location. there is a lot of transportation options, many restaurants and close to the city center. Apartment had a washing machine.

The apartment was a lot smaller than expected, with 5 people it felt cramped. There was not enough storage or hanging space for clothing. The stairs of the property are very steep making it difficult to carry luggage. The apartment is located around a lot of bars which makes it very noisy since hundreds of people drink outside and not inside the bars.

Perfect for two couples right in the heart of many of the sites of Lisbon.

It was a beautiful apartment with all that we needed for our stay in Lisbon. We loved that it was walking distance to many of the sites we were interested in seeing.

Well located apartment with everything you need

This is a nice, comfortable, well stocked apartment in a great location. If you do not mind very steep hills, you can walk everywhere. Or you can get a Bolt ride. There are small markets close by as well as small shops, restaurants and bars. Maxwell is very accommodating and will help you with anything you need.

The stairs are narrow, and very steep. The apartment is located in a popular neighborhood, and it is very loud at night. If you wear earplugs, you will be fine. Otherwise, you will definitely get woken up a few times each night.
