This property was cute and served its purpose. Only thing was the floors were not clean and walls need to be cleaned. Other than that it was great

The room was a little run down, but more than suited what we needed for a place to stay overnight. It was very spacious and quiet. We each had our own bed and slept very comfortable after a long day of skiing. I would stay here again.

1 hour to do the check-in 4-5 pm is impossible, they charged $40 for late checkin, maybe that’s why they keep the checking so short. Besides this, it was an amazing experience

Lake Cabin
The property had all we needed. spacious and quaint. A few updates would make it a little more desirable. Carpet was stained and dirty and the Mattress was saggy. A few more bowls and glasses would have been nice. My main complaint was the refrigerator. It froze all of our food and drinks. we turned it down to nearly off and it didn't help. We had planned to make most of our own meals but a lot of our food was ruined and we had to go out to eat more often then planned. I loved the location and knew the level of stay i was getting. We took advantage of the pool and used the barbeque. Overall had a great time!

Good location but the cabin in need of remodel!

I had a wonderful time down by the lakeside in my Lone Pine cabin stay. Home was rustic and comfy enough. My stay was over the weekend with family. Very quiet and quaint. Enjoyed every moment. Check in was quick via texting info with lockbox as well as checkout process. All in all everything was a great experience and I would definitely return

Great area but was confused through management
First checking in was easy, but after getting all checked in we were told to go to an area that was around the corner from the lodge. We could not find the place as it was behind another cabin and behind a fence. We spent an hour waiting for a mechanic to come by to open our lock box. Later on that night we received a call saying that we were at the wrong 107 cabin. So we went to the other one where they instructed us to go and finally found a the cabin we reserved. After settling in we grew to love the cabin. We loved our little cabin and it had everything we needed with a nice walk right along the lake at the end of the day.

Very cute cabin. It was woodsy and quiet and had everything we needed there for the weekend. The check out and check in times aren't great but otherwise it is lovely.

Perfect lakeside location!
We booked the Lonepine cabin for a relaxing Memorial Day weekend, and we could not be more pleased with our accommodations. The representatives for Big Bear vacations were prompt and attentive. The cabin was clean and furnished with everything you’d need for a comfortable stay, and the lake was right there! The location alone made it worth a five star review. The cabin has a reasonably large bathroom, a king bed (amazing!) and is also dog friendly.
Only thing —Make sure you read the fine print on the big bear vacation agreement — some of the Shore Lodge amenities are seasonal and aren’t guaranteed (like the pool and hot tub.) the pool was open and lovely, but the hot tub was being fixed as it would be open June thru September. No matter — we had a lovely time, and we will be back soon!

Cabin
Great stay. We had an awesome time. Will definitely be coming back. A few things that could have made it better was having a working DVD player. Also the refrigerator does get really cold that it was letting someone of the stuff we brought like the juice and milk frozen because of how cold it was. Other then that I really recommend staying here.

Lakeview Cabin
This cabin was walking distance to the lake, had views of the lake from the front deck, as well as the kitchen and was the perfect spot for our family getaway. Dog friendly and our son really enjoyed playing on the swings located on the property. Cabin could use some updating but overall the cleanliness was good and the kitchen adequate for cooking simple meals.

Lone pine cabin
Just a short one night stay. We got there at 11 and didn't get to go in the cabin until 430pm. Check out is also early at 10am. For the price, the amount of time you get to spend there is not worth it. Also there was a lot of urine stains on the carpet and the couch itself smelled heavily of urine. Plus side the views and access to the lake.

Nice cabin with some issues. For my stay it was adequate. Nice location on the lake.
Issues. Very dim. Needs more light. Plus when the refrigerator kicked in the lights dimmed.
Obivious that the fireplace had issues as a dank shoot smell of smoke was very noticable. Walls above fireplace were soot stained as well as the ceiling.

Wonderful!
The unit was just as described, and perfect for my husband and I and our dog. Easy to find, easy to get to, close to The Village, and just the perfect view of the lake! Thank you again and we can’t wait to return to this unit.

Needs some fixing.
Great location but needs lots of maintenance: New pillows, new shower head, new mattress, screen in window, fix picnic table, new deck chairs. A bit dated but would have been fine if kept up better.

Lots of snow
We enjoyed the cabin. It was clean and the bedroom worked well for my husband, myself and 5 year old. It seems that the refrigerator door swings the wrong way. There was one time when the hot water wasn't working in the shower but by the morning it was fine. The only issue was neighbors were unable to park in their driveways due to no snowplow so we were unable to drive out until the other cars blocking the street moved. It seems to me that the company should insure that everyone can get into their driveways after checkin. Taxi service in big bear had us wait in the cold for over an hour. Beside that the trip was good. The dvd set up is odd in the fact that you have to unplug the cable and plug in the DVD. But I got it to work.

Great visit!
We really enjoyed our stay at the Lonepine #107. The cabin is clean and cozy. Even though it is in a "resort" and cabins are close by you still feel the privacy. Enjoyed the fireplace. Very nice. A few steep steps to access the cabin.
