We had a great stay on Folly. The cottage was a delightful retreat for a long weekend in the off season. The beds are comfortable and the neighborhood is quiet. We took a walk down to the pier and enjoyed friendly atmospheres at all the Folly beach stores and restaurants. We were also a 30-minute drive to downtown Charleston and the harbor to see Fort Sumter and the Yorktown. The house was a cozy sanctuary with beautiful ocean views. So glad we stayed there.

This was a great house for our family with 2 young boys. The location was very quiet and everything in the house was clean and comfortable. We'd stay here again!

This little bungalow was perfect for us. It was stocked very well. It’s an older building, but you can’t beat the view, beach access, and quiet because it’s located at a dead end. Very clean. I would ask for more effective blinds for the bedrooms as we woke at dawn with that wonderful Carolina sun.

Just what we hoped for and even beyond the VRBO description. This cozy house was perfect for our adult family of 4 and our pet puppy Rosie. Close to Folly Beach retaurants and shops but far enough away to be peaceful...and the view/setting was incredible! We loved the house's charm and character. It had everything we needed and offered all the comforts. A neat addition (unless we overlooked it) would be a booklet for guests to review about the history of the house. Sleeping to the sound of Atlantic Ocean waves crashing...a no-brainer...we'll be back!

This cottage was everything we wanted and more for our family beach trip! Nestled quietly at a dead end, with just a short private boardwalk away from the beach. Linens, towels, and beds were superb, house was extra clean and, pots and pans were a exceptional quality (which NEVER happens in a rental). If you want a retreat from reality come here. I found every excuse to use the outdoor shower every chance I got (extremely private)! The deck was wonderful, the beach was quiet (and neighbors), it was nice watching the surfers in the morning too! Seriously, book this cottage now. I didn’t want to leave!! It felt like home.

We loved our week at this lovely property. The home is well cared for and had everything we needed. The kitchen is well stocked and the appliances nice and updated. The property is far enough from the busier areas that the beach was never crowded and we enjoyed the privacy. We would definitely stay again.

Even though we brought the cold weather with us for spring break :) , we loved our stay in Folly Beach! This home is older, but it honestly was the cleanest VRBO my family has ever stayed in! We were all very impressed! Check-in/out was easy. The deck/walkway out back was excellent and recently redone and you can't beat being right on the beach. The home is located at the end of the the main road so it was nice to be away from the busy downtown area. Since it was a bit chilly to enjoy the ocean as much as we wanted, we explored Charleston quite a bit and that is a quick 25 minute drive from the home. We definitely would recommend this home for your vacation!

Check in was a little disappointing as we were given the wrong code and we arrived in the darkness so it wasn’t too good for us. On the other hand, The ocean was beautiful and we enjoyed the convenience of the the ramp out to the shore. The beach cottage was clean and the beds comfortable. The kitchen had all the necessary equipment needed to prepare meals. So we were happy with our stay. We would consider booking this beachfront cottage/cabin again!

We loved the seclusion of this property and how it was right on the beach. It was perfect for our family of five get away. We loved the fully equipped kitchen to allow meals cooked in and we loved the close proximity to Charleston for daily excursions. Just what we were looking for. Thank you!

Lovely home with beautiful artwork and an exciting "slide" down to the beach (thank you Hurricane Nicole). Our king sized bed was super comfortable, the kitchen was well equipped and we more or less figured out how to deal with "Roku". I would definitely rent this house again!

This was our second stay at this lovely house- really appreciated the new refrigerator and washer and dryer! The view and house were as perfect as before, our only disappointment was that we had record cold due to a cold front and couldn’t really enjoy the beach. And that you switched from cable to Roku on the TV.. Other than that everything was perfect! Thanks for sharing your lovely home!

Amazing beachfront location with ocean views from two bedrooms and the living room. Short drive to restaurants and market. Nice and quiet and felt private despite being next to the public beach access. Wish more amenities were provided, such as laundry detergent, coffee, more tissues, more toilet paper, etc.

We had a perfect week at this property--maybe the best beach house I've stayed in. The location and beach area are wonderful, and the house was incredibly cozy and perfectly set up for a relaxing week at the beach. Adults and kids alike had a blast.

The beach was the best. Very close to property to put our tent awning up every morning & just relax, cool off in the ocean (the water was very warm), then a game of bocci(we brought) then back to relaxing.

A little further from town than I thought. About 2 miles. More than I wanted to walk. The property was very clean, older home but in good shape. Only a few steps to enter which I liked. Right on the beach.

This house is comfortable, clean and very well appointed. The oceanfront deck is the space you want to be and is large and furnished with plenty of chairs, lounges and a table to gather round. The fireplace was a bonus, as we had chilly weather and it really warmed up the living room in evenings and early morning. The location is one of the best on island, just a few houses down from a dead end, so minimal traffic and noise. All in all, a wonderful stay for a small family or a few friends.

The back deck and proximity to the ocean are awesome! We spent hours sitting, reading and walking the beach. Just what was in order after a hectic year. The home is impeccably kept and anything you need is there. This was our second visit, and we look forward to another.
