Comfortable Stay

The room was clean and comfortable. I did not eat there.

No assistance with luggage to check out.

Poor

Upon having a booking.com issue whereby the first accommodation booked they couldnt not accommodate my family, we then had to wait 5hours for a re booking to be confirmed in an unknown place which was also endangering the lives of me and my family including my 6 year old, we then confirmed a rebooking to arrive at a place where they have probably given us the worst room at the property at 10pm at night with us having a whole ordeal we just had to settle for it because it was already late at night and my 6yr old lb was already exhausted and scared , the room was pathetic as the bathroom tub was rusting and cracking the bed was hard the shower door was broken and at the start of winter you need a hot shower however the was was Luke warm not even hot this has been my worst scariest experience ever , it was so pointless booking as we waiting 5hours for a check-in and booking.com to assist us with the issue then the place was terrible and remorse or compensation shown towards us.

Not worth the money spent

The food was amazing and the garden area was beautiful.

We paid almost R5000 for 2 rooms. 1 room the toilet didn't flush. We only got 1 towel per room and had to ask twice for more towels. Service was bad from the staff. There was no hot water in the morning.

The location was very convenient for the business we had to conduct.

The guests staying at the hotel were disruptive and noisy. From 20h00 to 4h00, they were talking loudly, laughing histerically, at times shouting, banging doors and up and down the passage. There was no duty manager looking out for the comfort of other paying guests. We had no hope of sleeping. On arrival, the 5-year-old old daughter of the receptionist was sitting eating with her at the reception. Not very professional. I will definitely not stay at the Redlands Hotel again. It was a very unpleasant experience.

The hotel was a bit tired, the tv in the room was far too small.

Lovely position but a little like Fawlty Towers when it came to the service and food.

The breakfast was not great. yoghurt but no muesli. Flapjacks but no honey/syrup. No jams. English breakfast very underwhelming.

Breakfast and dinners not great. Rosti inedible! Staff friendly but undertrained - so not available when needed and not able to give the kind of service expected.

Calm after storm.

Peace calm away from storm... left the shocking freeway chaos and was fortunate to be able to get a booking.com reservation at Redlands. Awesome evening.

Having to get back onto shambolic freeway .

Home away from home

The staff were top notch, friendly and professional. I wasn't in the best space when I went, so their kindness made it feel like home. The rooms that we got were amazing Room 17 & 18! Perfect view of the pool and spacious comfortable room. The food was fresh and cooked from scratch. Excellent!

Lovely stay

Room was clean and the stuff was amazing. Had dinner with friends and food was lovely the waiter made us feel at home. The location peaceful and quiet loved the balcony beautiful view by the pool area.

The pillow was bit hard .The napkin at the resturant had old redwine stains but you could tell it was clean. The overall experience 👌

A great place to stay - Highly recommended!

The location is quiet and conveniently situated. The staff are wonderful, the rooms clean and comfortable, and the property safe and secure.

I really struggle to find anything I didn't like.
