Good location to explore the gold coast.

It was near the beach (not beachfront - about 500m & 3 intersections), shops and restaurants. Carport secured by electronic gate. Kitchen and washing machine. Unit had been refurnished. Beds were comfortable. Fans worked for April (not sure about no aircon in summer). Maintenance came quickly to fix broken wardrobe. Bush turkeys in the driveway. Close to airport.

Have to get & return keys to real estate agent (opposite direction to airport) when other sites use more convenient key safes. Enter up 10 steps with a door in the middle, up path, 8 more steps, and strong door closer on door with no seal to soften the swift shut. (2 neighbours were grumpy - a one off.) To go back to the car you need to unlock door in the middle of the steps. It smells of smoke/ damp (or possibly rubbish as you only get one bin bag in an open bin so people may leave rubbish longer). The damp rids had gone to liquid & were not replaced. Had to leave windows open for smell; traffic noise started 4/5am. Only slight neighbour noise (doors/ bumps above). One main bedside light cord just hung, not quite reaching the power board. (A QB would have fit and been better than DB. At $12 a pillowcase, linen rental wasn't worth it.) I cope with a few cobwebs, and inaccessible shower mould, but there was shower door mould that could be cleaned, & visible dirt on skirting and toilet. Couch was grungy & you had to sit on cushion or sink in broken dip; they said a replacement was ordered. Smoke detectors were sensitive and went off midnight for no reason. Ignore registration saying dishwasher. No wifi - hotspot doesn't work well. 9am checkout was earlier than average & we got mixed messages about be out vs return keys by 9am.

The place has a great location and is secure

Had no broom to clean up. The doors needed rubber spacers on the door frames. Noisy when closing. Blankets are thin, gets cold at night. Neighbours are noisy especially at 4 in the morning, slamming doors.
