Didn’t feel having any privacy in the studio in the middle of the property next to the big owner house. Having the kitchen separate next door was not practical. Back and forth between the 2. We couldn’t eat our meal on a proper indoor table but just on a outdated sofa and coffee table

Wonderfully positioned little studio

My husband & I stayed one night on our way to Apollo Bay. The little studio was perfect for our stop over. Clean, tidy & well positioned to walk to the cliff walks & shopping village. The owner was very responsive & welcoming. Highly recommend.

Unless you want to inhale indoor air pollution particulates, don’t stay here

1. The house is heated by a wood burning stove which you need to tend yourself. That’s the only source of heat. When we first arrived, the house was so cold! The owner started the fire 15 minutes before and we never got the chill out of our bones 2. I had to wake up at 4 am to restart the fire. Not fun or relaxing 3. There’s a 25 step hand written instruction sheet on how to tend the fire. 4. This part is the worst-the house smelled like smoke and the amount of indoor air pollution from the stove was extreme. If you have asthma or maybe dont want to be inhaling unhealthy particulates all night, don’t stay here. Our clothes and hair smelled like smoke. 5. The shower is small and the shower head is directed towards a gap in the shower curtain. 6. Be aware that there is a clothes washer but no dryer 7. The WiFi really really sucks 8. The tea packets left for the guests were expired. I thought I’d splurge to stay at this cottage to give ourselves a treat. I wished I saved my money. This accommodation needs to make clear that it’s a wood burning stove that is the only source of heat and that guests are responsible for tending it. Do yourself a favor and don’t stay here.

Cottage was absolutely stunning, the photos did not exaggerate at all. Our host was lovely and so very hospitable, helping us with the fireplace. Facilities were great, with a fully stocked kitchen.

The only downside was that we didn't realise how close the cottage was to the hosts home. There is one narrow driveway leading in and it kind of branches off into the cottage, another unit for accommodation, and the hosts house.
