Very good

It’s a nice place to stay for one night. There are plenty of facilities inside the house. The staff is really good and polite. They have made a great job!

The small sea area has a lot of garbage and the water isn’t clean enough to swim. The sea was the main reason for our booking. The path to the house is difficult and you need a vehicle or you can walk about 15’ upward to the main road. I think the are better houses to stay in the island for less money.

accommodation very small …..We will not book it again

the view was nice and the room was clean….. the cleaner very helpful…..

the beach was dirty …. a lot of cats were using the sand for their poos……

Amazing view, peaceful stay, comfy room!

This was the most beautiful location. Incredibly private and a beautiful place to stay. The beach was lovely and the water crystal clear. We went to sleep to the sound of the waves! The room was gorgeous, with a lovely indoor and outdoor shower and a comfy bed!

We thought everything was fantastic!

Very good

Hotel staff were great at issuing a refund when the ferries were cancelled due to wind. They also arranged us a taxi to and from the port, and met us at the top of the hill with the key- our stay was cut very short due to the ferries, so they did the best to accommodate us and let us have as much time on the island over checking in protocols etc. The room was nice, clean and secluded, and about a 20 minute walk into town up hill. There was a coffee machine, fridge and safe in the room.

No catering for hot drinks other than coffee, no help with baggage down or up the hill. Quite basic for the cost over some of the other places we stayed for a fraction of the price.

a must stay!

an incredible property to stay at, which is a must if you’re staying in kimilos. going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the waves, wondering over the rocks around the traditional fishermens huts and enjoying the beaches were highlights. if you don’t mind a bit of an uphill walk you can easily get to the chorio and the road is quiet and lit. we would absolutely stay here again and very much hope to revisit kimonos.

the room wasn’t cleaned for the three days we were there, which meant there was sand everywhere, stacked rubbish and the bin in the toilet began to smell as you can’t flush paper. this isn’t as big a deal if you know going in, but a broom and outside space to put the bins would be helpful. the room book also said cleaning was included 🤷‍♂️

Superb

Almost alone with only a couple of fishermen and a lovely neighbour and her dog Hector for occasional company. The perfect place to relax, read and cool off in the sea with the added bonus of a really comfortable bed! Easily accessible to Chorio but be warned it is a 15 minute walk up hill - or you can just rent a scooter and explore the island! Very friendly staff at Aria, they also transported our baggage to and from Elephant House.

A little more shelving/work top space would be useful.

Luxury of a hotel room footsteps from the water

This place is incredible and was the highlight of our time visiting the Greek islands. The room itself is beautiful and clean and has all of the comforts of a hotel room. It is in a very small, private bay, within walking distance to the beautiful town of Kimolos. During our stay, we barely had anyone else on the beach with us. It was very peaceful and quiet. It was amazing going to sleep and waking up to the sound of the water right outside! Our hosts were very helpful and responsive with their communication. I had missed the memo about collecting the keys from the office and they kindly met us at the property to give them to us. We will definitely stay here again and have recommended it to our friends and family!

Everything was perfect, but a word of advice for other visitors - you will need a car/taxi/some kind of transport to reach the property from the port if you have luggage. It looks like a short walk on a map but it is not an easy one!

Staying in the Elephant Beach House is like living in a dream. For real.

This Aria Hotels’ two-person beach house is a former fisherman house transformed into a beautiful environmentally friendly room and you have a kind of private cove with crystal clear water and fishermen boats on the background. Panos, Eleni and Vasilis of Aria Hotels went above and beyond in order to make our staying perfect: they took us from and to the port, they moved our luggage from one hotel to the other and they arranged a day for us in Bonatsa beach. We went to Kimolos on a trip where we visited a total of 8 Cycladic islands, Kimolos was by the far the most beautiful and the staff along with the facilities at the Elephant Beach House was what made our trip one that we will never forget.

A little gem … right among the fishermen

The Elephant House is a converted fisherboat garage. It sits among the garages of fishermen at a small beach, giving you front row seats to the fishermen activity. Very short drive from the chora. Brand new. Great indoor and outdoor shower, very quiet location with still some activity to keep you entertained.

There is nothing we did not like. OK if I have to mention something: you need a car or scooter to get there and to leave (steep drive down/climb up) and no shops, bars or restaurants within walking distance. But this may also be seen as a plus.

Exceptional

We were suppose to stay a Elephant Goupa, but there was an issue with the property. Although we were not informed before arriving, we were offered an upgraded property for the same amount of money. Our stay and everything was great and we appreciate the flexibility.
