Nestled in Kanab, this charming house for $234 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. Summary: Riley's Retreat is your pet-friendly, quaint, comfortable cottage in downtown Kanab perfect for visits to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary and all of the nearby national parks. We offer a free concierge with some great recommendations:) Kanab is situated in the "Grand Circle" area, centrally located among Vermilion Cliffs National Monument, Bryce Canyon National Park, the Grand Canyon (North Rim), Zion National Park, Pipe Spring National Monument, Coral Pink Sand Dunes, Kodachrome Basin, Lake Powell, the Wave, Horseshoe Bend and so much more. This property is a pet friendly property and does require a $50 pet fee if you plan on bringing your furry friends! :) Pet Policy: Pets are NOT allowed to be unattended in the home at any time, please understand and respect our policy:) The Space: Riley's Retreat is well loved by pet owners and visitors to Best Friends for its perfect pet setup. The home has a large backyard with a pet door and ramp for older dogs. Just 3 blocks from the center of town, guests can walk to shops and restaurants. The Neighborhood: Riley's Retreat is on the north side of downtown Kanab. You are just a few blocks from restaurants, shops, parks, hiking trails, our city swimming pool and more. Getting Around: From the home, you can walk to anything downtown but of course, you'll want a vehicle to visit the parks and all of the exciting things to explore here. Page, AZ airport is 1 hour away; St. George, UT airport is 1.5 hours away; Las Vegas airport is 3 hours away. Other Things to Note: Kanab is known as the "Hub of the Parks', and is the gateway to three national parks, Zion (30 Miles), Bryce Canyon (70 miles) and the Grand Canyon North Rim (70 miles). Visit the Grand Staircase - Escalante Monument, Lake Powell/Glen Canyon Recreation Area, Coral Pink Sand Dunes, The 'Wave'/Paria Wilderness, Pipe Springs National Monument, Kodachrome State Park, Cedar Breaks and Cedar Mountain. Also tour Best Friends Animal Sanctuary, or hike in the red rock country nearby through the many trails such as Squaw, Bunting, and K-Hill trails. Equestrian and biking trails are also available. Relax with a dream vacation and re-live life in the west where dozens of western movies were made, Kanab otherwise knows as 'little Hollywood' is home to the Western Legends Roundup, every August and features vendors, great food, two live stages and the National Cowboy Poetry Rodeo. After a very stressful drive across the dessert we were over joyed to find Riley’s retreat to be clean,COOL, and completely furnished for our family. The home is very clean and completely furnished, even more so than described in the listing. We3 were so happy to find the back yard was. Completely enclosed for our little fur children. We were even more impressed that thee kitchen was completely furnished with pretty much any kitchen item you need to make meals! Extremely grateful for this after all the restaurants had a 2 hour wait and we needed to cook dinner! If you are staying in Kanab and plan on eating make dinner reservations in advance! Between the limited dining options and little space, shorter hours and Sundays most dining option are closed you need a completely furnished kitchen.

This was our 2nd time at Riley's Resort. The location is fabulously convenient, close to everything, and on a quiet street. The kitchen and bathrooms are well stocked, clean, and have lots of hot water and great water pressure. The bed and linens are very comfortable. Out dog loved the large fenced yard. We will be back for a 3rd time next year.

What a beautiful home! The kitchen and bathrooms were newly updated and huge! Spacious home with all of the amenities we needed, including all the pots and pans and other items needed in the kitchen, washer/dryer in the basement, cute backyard, and driveway. The property manager was super responsive to any questions. We were here for two weeks and had a lovely stay.

I booked this home at the last minute and was really just looking for a place to sleep that allowed pets. I was very surprised by how wonderful this property is. There are fantastic up close views of the red cliffs, a huge fenced backyard and a warm and inviting indoor space. There is a huge binder with information on local trails and other things to do. The kitchen is well stocked. The master bath has a deep tub that is to die for! The a/c works great and there are ceiling fans. Another reviewer complained about the neighborhood which I find quite shocking. I thought it felt very safe and family oriented. There were kids out riding bikes and people out walking and pushing babies in strollers every evening. It was very quiet at night. There is a kind older couple who work in their garden behind the house during the day. The city park is 2 or 3 blocks away and has a pool. Best of all, this is the most pet friendly property I've ever stayed in. There are extra leashes, dog toys, pet blankets for the furniture. My husband and I own a cleaning company and I'm super picky about cleanliness. This home was immaculate and very comfortable. Be aware that the sprinklers come on at 7:30 a.m. and again in the middle of the day. They only run for a few minutes, but it can be a chilly surprise if you aren't expecting them. Check in and check out were super easy. I felt very welcome here and would stay again in a heartbeat.

Family Vacation
Great little place with all you need close to everything in Kanab land. Nice retreat with the in laws coming in from Chicago. We split our time between our home on Powder Mountain then the road trip to Kanab for some desert fun. A+

Outstanding property
This lovely, beautifully furnished house is clean, comfortable and convenient to most everything. It is in the middle of the golden circle of 3 national parks. Near by Best Friends Animal Sanctuary is a must visit. Rocking V's is a fantastic restaurant and the owner is hoot. Back to the house, the kitchen and bathrooms are fully stocked. The shower has great water pressure and plenty of hot water. The bed is very comfortable with very nice pillows and linens. Our dog loved the huge, fully fenced, nicely manicured back yard. It is just as pictured and listed on line. We fell in love with Kanab and will come back and hope to stay in this welcoming home again.

Nice house but noisy neighborhood
The house was nice. The yard was smaller then the pictures make you think. The neighborhood was not the best. Neighbors across the street were partying all night on several of the nights of our stay. Dogs from around the neighborhood were barking all hours of the day and night. I would recommend the house but not the neighborhood if you are looking for something peaceful.

Great space. We only needed the master bedroom which was en-suite. Living room comfortable. We did not cook, but kitchen was roomy. Basement had laundry area., which was convenient. Fenced yard for dogs. Great response from property management. Will book again.

The house was incredibly comfortable, and I loved being able to walk out of the front door to trails in the red cliffs surrounding. The abode is clearly well-maintained, and you'll reap the benefit of that entirely, it's very cozy.

Perfect!
We very much enjoyed our stay at this property. The yard and doggie door were great for the dogs. The location is perfect, you can walk to shops and restaurants and the neighborhood was wonderful for walking the dogs. We could even walk to hiking trails. The house is well stocked with everything you need (make sure you use the lemon hand soap, it’s divine). We would definitely stay again!
