Situated in Garden City, this charming house for $613 per night is a great option for your next trip. Bare Feet Retreat is a three-bedroom, two-and-a-half-bath beach house located 0.1 miles north of Garden City Pier in the second row beach house community, Retreat at Garden City Beach. This house features a fully-equipped kitchen complete with stainless steel appliances including a microwave and dishwasher, as well as a washer, dryer, central heat and air conditioning, and ceiling fans. Four TVs, DVD player, and Wi-Fi are also provided. Sleeping accommodations include one king and one queen-sized bed, two twin-over-double bunk bed sets, and a queen-sized sofa bed. Outdoor amenities feature a furnished covered porch, community swimming pool, and gas grill. Dog friendly. Conveniently located close to some of the best area attractions, Garden City Beach is directly south of Surfside Beach and ends on a peninsula at the mouth of Murrells Inlet. One of the most renowned attractions in Garden City Beach is the Pier at Garden City. Loved, loved everything about the house with the exception of parking. Repairmen and other full time owners park in the small driveway blocking access. Also gotta do better with the TV. Seriously, can’t watch college football on a Saturday? The house was very clean and smelled nice. Beds were comfortable too. Will certain be coming back, but with a different TV option in hand, and a Plymouth Horizon for parking.

Stay was lovely. House was very clean and beds sooo comfortable! They had everything we needed, kitchen stocked full of pots, pans, etc. the only issue was that our outside trash can stayed inside overflowing with trash from the week before plus ours. Might be a good idea to have 2 outside cans. Other than that, it was a great place to stay!

It was a beautiful place. We had a great. The weather was perfect for April. We also were able to utilize the pool which always great. The cleaners did an amazing job. The fridge was so clean you’d have thought it was brand new and we were the first to use it! I had a problem with the sink in the primary bedroom and they came to fix it within 2 hours. There was a table on the balcony that’s pretty rusty and probably needs thrown away. I would have liked it if the property had some board games and maybe some beach chairs for renters to use but otherwise it was a great place!

Enjoyed our stay. Property was quiet, beautiful, and very clean. Everything was provided for us. The only thing I would suggest adding is just a few extra blankets! Lots of towels available, fully stocked kitchen appliances, and comfortable beds!

Three generations rented Barefeet Retreat, including 2 boys 8 and 10. The house was modern, clean, well stocked with a nice 2nd story porch. Lots of steps to contend with. The beach, arcade and Sams Corner were just a few steps from our door. We spent a whole week spending time at each place without needing a car. We also had a community pool to enjoy. Also the pier was close by with live music at night. I recommend this place for a family get together.

This house had every single thing we needed from linens to a fully-loaded kitchen. Every detail was considered in setting up this house. We walked 150 steps to the beach. The house was decorated very tastefully and everything was top notch. We will definitely try to grab this house again!

Beautiful house that felt homey and inviting. 3 bedrooms with an opportunity for a large family to stay with beds for all. The house is literally across the street from the pier and beach access. Quiet retreat for those who just want a peaceful weekend. Please note: there are a lot of stairs to get in the home and in the house as the bedrooms are all on the second level.

We loved the location of this rental - just steps away from the beach. It's in a fairly quiet area away from the business of the Myrtle Beach tourist area. It was clean, well furnished and the kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, utensils, etc. A couple things that could have been better - our exterior trash can was missing when we arrived. We called for one on Saturday after we checked in and we didn't get one until Tuesday. We planned to cookout several times while we were there. We cooked out twice & ran out of Gas. It was after hours when we figured out it had ran out, so we had to go buy a new tank down the street. It would be nice to have a tank that's full when guests arrive. This was our first time staying in a home like this and I will say that when someone walked through the house you could feel the house sway. I'm not sure if this is normal, but may it is with a house on stilts. The check-in process was a little rocky. One of the gentlemen working the windows was pretty rude to me. There are 2 areas to enter onto the porch. When we arrived we came in from the side. There was a gal already on the front steps waiting her turn, so we waited until she went. Another man pulled in and waited on the steps after us. When it was our turn I walked up to the window and the man at the window tried to belittle me and basically accused me of cutting in front of the other man. The other man went around me and proceeded to the window when he was invited up. I was standing off to the side and just out of the employees eye site. It was a disappointing experience, but the gal that took us next was very sweet and professional. Overall we had such a nice time during our stay. There aren't many restaurants within walking distance, but there are lots of options just s short drive away. The Ice Cream shop across the street is wonderful! We would definitely come back and stay here again.

Unable to park 4 cars as stated. 1 reason the owner had a golf cart in the way. New grill being delivered as we were leaving and it stated that we had a grill to use. Parking area covered in sand. Exterior stairs and mats not cleaned. Our feet’s were black from dirty flooring so we had to mop.

We checked in on a Sunday and were not clear on the check in instructions when office is closed. Ended up fine but would have been nice to know what the process was in advance. Upon arrival the house was very dirty. There was sand, dirt, and hair everywhere. One of the sheets had a band-aid stuck to it. We had to go to the store to but cleaning supplies to make it better. So after spending part of our vacation cleaning, we were able to enjoy the beach and the house.

Clean, safe and near the beach. Pool was closed entire time and picture makes it look like that is community pool in the background but it is not, that is a neighbor's private pool. I made the mistake of stocking the refrigerator the first day and when we woke up everything was warm- milk, eggs, etc. Took two days for it to cool down. It was generally very clean, maid service missed the master bath so fingernail clippings, hair and dirt in shower, etc but rest of home clean.
