Location is private, and its feels like you're a thousand miles from anywhere but town is 5 minutes away. Precut and organized fire wood made making a campfire a breeze. Hosts seemed to want to make sure you have everything you may need. Amazing place!

My husband and I loved our stay! The grounds were immaculate and the camper had everything you need. It was so peaceful watching the stars from the dock. The Porcupine Mountains were a short drive away. Keith is an exceptional host and we can't wait to go back.

Property was just what we hoped for, was the perfect base for us.
Really enjoyed the sunrises in the morning, the screened area was great, will definitely stay again if we are in the area.

This property is amazing. The grounds are well maintained and very organized with so many little touches! Screened porch with a little fridge, indoor and outdoor games, a dock for fishing, picnic tables, Alexa with Amazon music, lots of space for friends. The camper was very well stocked and super clean. Being on the river was great. We saw eagles and sand hill cranes. Very private setting. The kitchen even had an air fryer and a presto pizza cooker.

A perfect vacation for my family. We enjoyed all the provided ammenities: games, fishing, grilling, etc. Close to porcupine mountains, we hiked and did lots of site seeing. A few mintues out of town, close to groceries and restaurants. Great communication with owner. Homeaway from home! Keith went above and beyond to provide everything.

Our family (2 adults, older teen and small dog) had a great vacation at this extremely private RV along the Ontogonan River. We lucked into some cooler August temperatures during our stay. While we only caught and released a "sunfish" (& saw other fish) and heard coyotes nearby (like, surrounding us?) the guest book mentioned catching sturgeon etc off the dock and sighting a bear during their stays. Wild turkeys peek into the campsite and run along the road leading to the campsite. The two evenings that had mosquitoes at the private dock were the best for fishing.
We would return and perhaps ask friends to camp at the empty campsite on the property next time.
The history museum and local restaurants are exceptional. The local grocery store is well stocked with all brands including organic and other specialty foods and water (we didn't like the taste of the potable water at the campsite).
The RV is fully stocked with tons more necessities than a hotel kitchen. We wanted extra towels for our dog and for the RV floor for boots and found some at the huge dollar store near the grocery.
If you have never stayed in an RV, you should stop into a dealership and do a walk through. The steps into this RV are steep and the door opens outward over the steps. The screen door hooks to the outer door, and you need to be quick. There is little floor space. The bathroom is small. Convenient hooks line the walls, but be prepared. The views are incredible and the bed is very comfortable.

This place is absolutely perfect Keith didn't miss any detail! Everything is well marked and there was clear communication with Keith. There is even wood for sale on property. Only thing I would change is renting for more days next time!

Our stay at Keith’s was fantastic! Location is close to everything but still secluded and private! We had so much fun exploring the Porcupine Mountains, enjoying the beauty of the many waterfalls and renting ATVs to check out the trails. It was great coming back to the RV for grilling and yard games! The guys spent plenty of time fishing off the dock! Perfect family vacation!

We had a wonderful time! The privacy is something you can't find in a camp ground and everything is on site. We will be back next year! The camper was stocked with everything you need! It is truly a special place!

My wife Linda and I stayed at Keith's property July 1 - 8, 2023. We vacation quite a bit in the Upper Peninsula, it was first visit in this area for a long time
We were mainly there to hike around the area, in the Porcupine mountains and Keweenaw Peninsula and discover the surrounding waterfalls. We also fished off the dock on the property, caught a several different species. We were surprised to catch several small sturgeons. I did speak to a MDNR fisheries biologist about this and he informed me of their fish planting the past several years.
The trailer and property were neat and clean. The area was very quiet even during the days around the 4th of July. The first night of the full moon we heard the local coyotes howling. There were deer, turkeys, turtles, otters, eagles, and other bird species also around.
The town of Ontonagon was close, there was well stocked grocery store and other businesses close. The Olde Swing Bridge Roasters was a great spot for coffee/coffee drinks.
There is also a very good marina in town if you were to bring your own boat.
I would wholeheartedly recommend Keith's river front property if you plan on visting the area.

Perfectly supplied campsite. All the fun of camping without the roughing part. Private and relaxing but not too far from town.
This host has thought of everything. We stayed for four days and wished it was longer. We used it a base to explore the Keweenaw Penisula and the Porcupine Mountains.

This camper and riverside property is everything you’d want in a camping experience. The owners went above and beyond to ensure that you have all the amenities. If you forgot anything at home, they will probably have it.
Our family loved all the campfires by the river and yard games in the lawn. We spent our days hiking the Porkies and taking day trips along Lake Superior. We are definitely coming back.

This place is a hidden gem glamping at its best. Very private, plenty of room, and everything we needed. The RV was very clean, stocked with towels, fully stocked kitchen, with plenty of extras including Keurig with pods witch I loved as I forgot my coffee. Very dog friendly and my dogs were in heaven with all the room to run around. Shed was stocked with fishing poles. Alexa in the screen porch was a fun addition. Coffee in the morning on the dock with fog on the river. Our friends brought a boat and we were able to dock it there and cruise the river out to Lake Surperior. 30 min. to the Porkies. The town of Ontonogan is quaint and friendly. We would love to go back and bring friends as there’s plenty of room for another camper or 2. Keith was very helpful and answered right away when I had questions.

My husband and I absolutely loved our stay here. It was super clean, easy check in, and communication with Keith was great. The property is very private. We loved all of the amenities such as the handwritten welcome note, fishing poles, yard games, etc. We ended up cancelling some of our plans just so we could enjoy the property. Highly recommend!

Great location
Tons of outdoor space. If we didn't have kids along we'd definitely be using the screen in shed by the fire pit. Only issue for us was google maps made it a little tricky getting there so make sure to look up as soon as you get the address as cell reception might not be good enough.
Once you figure it out its easy and the whole stay was awesome. Great place!

Ontonagon River Stay
Great location very private . Close to many things in the UP like the Porkies, the local public beaches of Superior, and the Ontonagon river. The only drawback for us was launching kayaks from the property onto the river was not easy.

Keith was extremely helpful before, during and after our stay. Everything we needed for the campground or the RV was available on site and Keith made sure I knew he was nearby if I needed anything. The screened in building was an absolute delight with an Alexa speaker there to play any music we wanted! We went on a charter for fishing (Keith provided the contact info) and hiked in the Porcupine Mountains. The campground was a great location to reach everything we traveled North to do. Highly recommend!

Great home base for exploring the area
The host was very accommodating. He even arranged to have a cord of wood delivered to the property, to be there waiting for us, so that we could do unlimited cooking over the fire. No details were missed!
